This A+ list athlete who wants to retire, can't. He needs at least one more big night because of the tens of millions of dollars he has wasted. The thing is though, with that power player gone, he is having trouble getting the payday he always assumed he would get.

Floyd Mayweather/Les Moonves
I think there's an opening on The Talk if he needs a job.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all hes 41 and has only fought once since 2015.Second, with HBO out of the fight business, there is no reason for any other network to overpay someone for a fight probably no one wants to see against another UFC fighter.
ReplyDeleteHow are the two connected? Did Moonves promise him a job?

ReplyDeleteShowtime is owned by CBS Moonves ran.
ReplyDeleteThe problem with Floyd is his entourage. They cost a lot of money.
ReplyDeleteBesides, he rents everywhere. (His "Strip Club" is rented from the Fines.)
If he owned, his financial situation would be more stable.
He did recently buy a $10 Million mansion, though. But, it's NOT an income producing property. If he had bought a $10 Million income property, he'd be earning +/-$500,000 annually.
*which Moonves ran* and Showtime is Floyds PPV and fight go-to company, under contract to fight for
ReplyDeleteMayweather is such an asshole, I hope he goes broke.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe this. He made over $250m for beating McGregor alone. Yes, I'm well aware he gambles.
ReplyDeletehe can easily get a few more big money fights. he's fine until he actually retires.
