Blind Item #6

Apparently the alliterate royal is going full on diva and lucky for us complains to her friends that she doesn't get enough respect and that she only wants to go to the fun events. She is convinced everyone of the staff hates her. They probably do. It wouldn't shock me if they end up moving to a different country for a couple of years. She is going to ask. She would love to live in Canada for a few years.

  2. ...And she isolates and weakens him even further by moving to her home turf, where she will have full power and probably start flirting with her ex, and play them off each other...once you learn how these narcissists work, they all do the same exact thing.

  5. This really effing sucks. I was hoping against hope that Meagan Markle was actually going to be a good person. I look at Harry and I think he's absolutely in love with her. WHY IS SHE SUCH A RAGING B??

    ReplyDelete
  6. I doubt it. If they don't do "royal" duties, they can't live off the royal allowance. He doesn't have a very good income on his own, only about 300k pounds says the London Times. She will have to take it or leave it - as in divorce.

  7. No shit it’s meant to be MM. C’mon Enty, even my Papillon knows that. Filler blind.

  8. Not sure this even constitutes a blind. It screams Megan markle. Oh, and they are not moving to Canada. They both are obligated in the U.K. So this is just not happening.

Lainey had some good analysis of this this week.

  12. Boy, what a raging bitch, says everyone based on made up blinds.

And she's isolating poor Harry. As The Guardian said, "Let’s all just enjoy the suggestion that the bossy one in this relationship is likely to be, not Harry, the man who was raised in palaces by servants, but Meghan, the mixed-race American raised by a single mother."

    ReplyDelete
  13. Sorry to disagree Mischi - I read that Harry has more money than Wills due to Diana's will. Wills wealth is tied up with the Crown as being in the direct line of succession. Word has it Harry is worth 25-40 Million.

    ReplyDelete
  14. They are not “tied” to the UK - Harry and Meghan can go and live wherever they want, whenever they want. They won’t be working royals anymore, so will probably have to relinquish their police protection - but they can go. And I wish they would, quite honestly.

I am glad Markle doesn’t “feel respected”. You earn respect, you don’t demand it based on the man you happen to be playing hide the sausage with. She’s a horrible woman and the worst thing to happen to the royal family since Wallis.

  15. @Mischi

It was explained to you before that Harry is plenty wealthy. Why you keep touting this "he's BROKE" line, I do not know. It takes a 15 second search to find out how much he is worth. The London fucking Times is fucking with YOU and anyone like you who wants their Outrage! addiction fed.

  16. Markle needs new friends if they are disgorging her feelings to Enty.

For pity's sake, The DM and TMZ would pay them for this info.

    1. How is she a social climber?? You realize that her family were millionaires before she married into the royal family. And she ran in the same crowd as William while they were in college together. Her and William have been together for something like 17 years I believe. They’re genuinely in love you can tell by looking at them interacting together.

  18. @Krab Your evidence that this is made up? Other than that you don’t personally like it?

I don’t recall any articles about Harry’s bad attitude to staff before. Not once. Conversely, we’ve had plenty of articles quoting plenty of people that Markle is a diva who drops people when they cease to be useful. None of this is out of the blue - and none of it is a surprise.

So that Guardian writer has no valid point, and neither do you.

  22. Harry has a passion for wildlife conservation in Africa.

He would love to live in either Botswana or Zambia and could do some good there as part of anti-poaching campaigns.

(In many cases, elephants and rhinos are being killed because wealthy Chinese believe their horns can be powdered to create a type of Viagra.)

Meghan relocating to Africa? Not likely.

    ReplyDelete
  23. plot, no, you're wrong. Harry has a trust from Diana which is worth about 20 million pounds, or about 300k per year. He can't touch the capital. He's not wealthy but he can enjoy the Sovereign Fund and the proceeds from the Duchy of Cornwall, as long as he plays by the rules. Otherwise, they're just very upper middle class. And I think the London Times would know better than you what they're worth.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Nutty, it's not just the Chinese - it's some Vietnamese, and Thai and I'm sure other people who think that killing an animal on the brink of extinction for a potion or for jewellery is ok.

  25. >@Krab Your evidence that this is made up? Other than that you don’t personally like it?

I don't personally carem except for the fact that there is no evidence for 99% of what's written about her. Yachting? Where's that evidence? Being a raging bitch? No evidence there either.

Enty just makes shit up because he likes to see a lot of comments. Most of the rest of you are credulous fools and/or hate MM for your own reasons. If I were British I'd damn well resent the RF hugely and would push for a republic. I'd hate the idea that these people control a ton of wealth for basically no reason whatsoever. But I'm not British so I just enjoy the soap opera.

And what the hell was Kate saying "It's such a special time to have little kiddies." Christ, she is not at all bright.

  26. Could be. Unfortunately, in sheer numbers and spending power, the Chinese are the unfortunate world leaders on this one.

Harry and William already spend a lot of time on African wildlife issues, but it would be great to see Harry take this issue on as his own, perhaps as part of his role as a Commonwealth ambassador. Lots of Commonwealth countries in Africa.

Maybe he could meet his next wife there too. You know, a beautiful African woman with grace, class, and a sense of duty. Someone who would be perfectly happy doing royal appearances that aren't just "the fun events."

The one role Diana loved without reservation was mothering her boys. In all other things, her borderline issues took over. Maybe it was to compete with Charles for their love, but she really wanted to be more hands-on then any other mother of royals before her.

    @Misci

I'm not going to explain it to you again. Harry's estate is larger than that given his holdings independent of Diana's bequeath, which he was given free rein over upon turning 30, btw.

  29. Yeah, well, The Guardian isn't where I'd go to get my news about royalty.

It's like getting your news about "the Resistance" from the Daily Caller or Daily Wire; they're unlikely to have any inside sources.

    ReplyDelete
  30. The Guardian piece was more a commentary on the media writing about MM rather than royal news. And it's intelligent and funny, unlike the DM.

"Harry, a prince, is married to an American divorcee. Hmmm … Did someone say Schmallis Schmimpson?"

  31. I just don't think Meghan understands how life in the palace works. You have to treat the staff with kindness. Fergie learned the hard way how fast the staff will turn on you if you screw them over. When the staff turns on you, you're screwed.

    ReplyDelete
  32. DoTell, Meghan was raised by her father, not her mother.

Plot, you're the one with the fantasy life about Harry. I think the royal reporters at the Times would know the situation better than you do.

  33. Nutty, every day is special to have little kiddies!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yeah, I think she's been screwed for awhile.

Most of her missteps - from the see-through skirt to the price tag hanging from the dress to the sequinned strapless monstrosity outdoors in November ("We're dining at the Captain's table.") to the folding bump when she bends down - could have been avoided with the guidance of experienced staff.

I have no idea what they're going to do with that pregnancy storyline.

While I have no special insight as to the contents of Meghan's uterus, the bump folds, and has folded repeatedly. And no specific due date has been given, which is odd. I've heard March, April, and May.

  35. Mischi, I was specifically speaking about Harry, who was raised more by Diana than by servants, in contrast to what the Guardian said.

  39. I wonder, assuming it's true they want to live in Canada awhile, if Harry thinks he could take on Governor General role? GG is federal vice regal rep of the Queen in Canada. However, not sure how welcome he'd be in this role. I live in Western Canada & the royals are kind of tolerated. Possibly Eastern Canada & BC might be more welcoming.

The role of GG has been filled by Canadians since 1952, alternating French & English speakers. Many Canadians would see an English Royal as a step backwards.

As for this blind....I call BS. The English media has it in for MM and most of what they write stinks of racism. I'm surprised non of them have accused her of being "uppity".

Me thinks she thought she was hot stuff and that she knew more than The Queen and after her stunts they had enough of her thirsty ass and got a rough wakeup call. Do not fuck with the royals, if they could take down someone like Diana, they can easily take down a z-list no-name actress with a snap of their fingers.

Just being a foreigner is not the determining factor: Queen Maxima (born in Argentina) has been very successful in the Netherlands, and Crown Princess Mary (born In Australia) is extremely popular in Denmark. Even Countess Alexandra (born in Hong Kong, biracial) did OK in Denmark until she dumped her prince.

Meghan’s main problem is her thirsty personality, not her skin color or national origin. The content of her character sucks.

None of those other countries are as snobby or elitist like the Brits and their royalty. Their princesses are allowed to publicly admit to battling eating disorders. They are allowed to marry their personal trainers. They are allowed to do their own shopping and wear off-the-rack clothing to state events. None of the royals of Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands or any other country in Europe are the highfalutin brand of the British royals.

"Doing her job properly" is only a qualifier if one is expecting the monarchy to still have any power. They don't. It's been a lunatic exercise of the UK public to both eat their cake and have it, too, as far as their royalty is concerned. Either quit the bullshit about the RF being speshul or give yourself a working monarchy again, full of monarchical powers. Other countries have woken up and realized that their royalty is simply some ceremonial holdover from times gone by. Might as well ease up, let them do their jobs or showing up for funerals and weddings, while allowing them the same leniency as other folks.

Too bad Meghan is stuck in the snotty nostalgia and class wars of the UK. I doubt she fully understood what she got herself into. I'd make a play for living outside the island myself under those conditions.

  62. Let me tell you what’s going to happen— Meghan is going to turn that ten BEDROOM Frogmore cottage into a show place, possibly with a magazine spread. They are making the ten bedrooms into 5 luxury bedroom suites. The whole thing is getting redone from top to bottom, and it’s about time.

The cottage is not as nice as the big house, it’s true. However, Frogmore cottage is a very nice MANSION in its own right. Watch what Meghan and Harry do to it. It’s going to be an amazing transformation.

In several years, after the queen and Phillip are gone, and all the yacht and other memorabilia are relocated to other places, Charles will give them the larger Frogmore House.

The end. Nothing bad going on here. Frogmore cottage will be gorgeous when it is fixed up.

  64. @Claire. As a fellow Canadian I've wondered if Harry might become GG of Canada too. The current Queens rep, Julie Payette has been failing at her duties, and is unpopular, astronaut or not. If she stepped aside, and Harry stepped in it would be a popular move, at first. Canadian's don't like GG's who run up the bill, and act like they are the Queen. Look at the recent spending scandal of former GG and journalist Adrianne Clarkson. Not popular.

In the 1980's it was rumoured that PM Brian Mulrooney offered the head of state seat ( the Governor General is appointed, and mostly ceremonial), to Harry's parents, Charles and Diana. I think the Aussies offered theirs too. Future kings (William) have to be born in England I imagine, and it didn't happen. Might have saved their marriage, and it might have lead to Canada becoming a republic, who knows.

Which leads to todays Canadian society. Brian Mulrooney's son Ben is host of a Canadian Entertainment tonight type show, they would love this. The PR machine at CTV would push this hard. Ben's sister is the AG of Ontario- small country. His wife is Megan's best friend and stylist (their kids were in the wedding ceremony). The Trudeau's are friends of theirs (across party lines), and former PM Mulrooney is a special advisor to PM Trudeau. And I could see Justin being talked into this. Although I have a hard time seeing any PM wanting to upstaged by the person that they appointed. And if there's an actual constitutional crisis that the GG has to step in and choose which party forms a government-rare, but it's happened twice provincially recently in as many years, Harry might not be the right person for the job. Oh, and he probably can't speak French. Who know's the Queen might go for it, if they're fed up with the couple, and Wills and Kate are for it.

    ReplyDelete
  65. What I find fascinating in all this is how vicious all these stories are. I seem to remember them being just as cruel about Kate and Fergie. Frankly the leaks aren’t doing the RF any favors either. These stories are so over the top that they’re absurd.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Hush, I am Canadian too and no frigging way is Harry becoming GG of Canada. We want someone Canadian, to begin with, and not someone who is being given the position to keep him busy and away from the Royal Family. If you think Canadians are going to accept this, you're really out of touch with your compatriots.

  68. Speaking as an “elitist and snobby Brit”, I can tell you the vast majority of Brit’s couldn’t give a fuck about this bland, walking Iroming board of a woman. Or the Family she married into. 72. Mischi, I too think it would be a disaster, the question is not if I'm out of touch, it's with those who make these decisions. We had a Haitian born, married to a Quebec separatist Michaelle Jean GG a few years ago. Why not two foreign born celebs? More likely to happen under a conservative government probably. Canadian's won't go go for a big spender. If it all goes barney as the Brits (in the movies) say, they go home to the UK, but for Canada, or any other Commonwealth country, it could lead to political instability. The 1995 Quebec referendum left the country shaken like Brexit has shook the UK. I just hope some interesting music comes out of the UK, like the 1960's did for them.

This suggestion of sending Harry and Meghan overseas sounds like that thread earlier in the week about moving to Frogmore cottage. I forget which commentator it was, but was saying she has NPD, and gaslighting Harry and moving him away from close family and support is her game. An overseas posting, close to the US, would be a win for her.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I should add, in Canadian newspapers recently the current GG was universally trashed, by the left and right. This is a position that no one really lobbies to get, or even cares who's in it. I figured a replacement has been lined up already, and this was the PR campaign for the door to open for Harry, who needs a job.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Yes, many people are buried at Frogmore burial grounds and St. George’s Chapel, including at the gardens in the future, Prince Phillip. So what? Who cares?

    ReplyDelete
  75. hush, get over it. Every GG in Canada is criticized at the beginning, and their terms are long, so they get used to it. Do you really think Canadians will want to replace a Canadian bilingual female astronaut with a British Prince who doesn't speak a word of French and speaks English with a different accent, and his social climbing American wife? You live in a fantasy land.

    ReplyDelete
  76. hush, because Michaelle Jean was at least Canadian and was at the French CBC for years. She was a symbol of ethnic integration in Quebec. Her husband was inconsequential, just like nobody knows who Adrienne Clarkson's husband is. The Conservatives need to keep Quebec happy because without Quebec, they would never win power. Forget it. Canadians and Brits are no longer very close and maybe that's a good thing. Maybe the Australians or the New Zealanders want them.

  78. Yeah, can’t change the outside, which is Grade II listed under the historical preservation law. Maybe Frogmore Cottage can be chic on the inside while continuing to look like a sad pile of bricks on the outside.

That, given her extensive weight loss, (and rumored drug use), makes it impossible for me to believe that she could get pregnant one month after getting married. If not for that, I’d totally agree with your theory.

I’ve had friends in their late 20’s/early 30’s who couldn’t ever conceive, after years of trying, even with IVF. Yet my mother got pregnant at 39, just like that! So yes, you never know, but her particular history points otherwise.

They can do nothing to Frogmore Cottage, the house is a grade II listed building and can only be renovated using approved architectural designs and specialist contractors. They get no say in anything but the interior decor. They cannot knock out walls to make rooms bigger. They can't even modernize the interiors or add something as simple as reverse cycle air-conditioning. They will get to choose the colour scheme, from a list of approved colours and add their own furnishings and drapes but that's it. The garden they may have more leeway in.

The house also still belongs to the crown, as the whole Windsor estate does, the tabloids are saying the Queen has given them the cottage but the reality of it is that they are being allowed to use the cottage until the Queen decides otherwise. They may be given a long lease on the cottage (say 50years) but they will never own it and can not sell it.

As for Harry's finances he does have millions but £20-30million is peanuts and would not last long if he had to pay for his own household staff and office. His financial support comes from Charles who earns around £17million a year. Charles pays for his staff, household expenses and Megs clothes (he does the same for William and Kate). Which are all laid out in Charles yearly expenses.

When Charles moves onto the throne (or dies) William comes into that Cornwall Duchy money as Prince of Wales. Charles would get his money from the Duchy of Lancaster and the Crown Estates when Monarch. In reality Harry is the poor relation, Harry has no income of his own ,only has the sovereign grant, without hand outs from his father or later on his brother his millions would soon vanish. Megs lifestyle will depend on her relationship with the Queen, Charles and William. Making waves will see her life made very uncomfortable.

Does anyone really think Meghan would prefere a 5 bedroom cottage in the country to a 20 room mansion in central London? Make no mistake they are being banished to Frogmore Cottage, no matter what spin they try to put on their change of location.

  83. Apparently she wanted to Febreeze Westminster Abbey. Keeping it classy.

longtimereader: Kate dated William for more than 10 years. In all that time she had money thrown at her from dozens of media outlets, yet never capitalised on her relationship. Sparkles gave a Vanity Fair interview 5 seconds after meeting the Half-Wit. Kate is everything Sparkles will never be. Sparkles will always be the d-list actress from a tv cable show who was lucky enough to bag the dumbest prince alive.

I believe everything leaking about her, because it's coming from the palace, clearly. They were protecting her before, giving her a chance, but now the gloves are off. They tried super hard to make her likeable, but failed, because she just isn't. So now her acting out will be made public. Harry and Sparkles were stupid enough to fuck with generous Queen Liz, now they will see her full wrath. Starting with getting banished to the airport cottage.

  84. I think it's adorable how excited tatty is over Half-Wit and Sparkles buying a new couch and choosing a new wallpaper for Frogmore cottage. Because they won't be able to change anything else, let's get this clear.
To be crude, it'll be like putting lipstick on a pig. A pig that is situated right underneath the busiest airport in Europe, and one of the busiest airports in the whole entire, bid wide world.

But tatty thinks it's grand 'cause Sparkles will get a new area rug. So cute.

  85. Um , whoa @Do Not Lie, take it down a notch. I wasn’t threatening your first amendment rights. WTF

A troll? That’s fantastic. I’ve never been accused of that before. However, I really have no clue what you’re on about. I was asking because I really don’t follow this stuff and was surprised by the uptick of all the stories the past couple of weeks. I did not know she had her own communications team to feed the media. The last time I really paid attention to MM was her wedding, and I listened to Enty’s podcast about the yachting. There was no reason to attack me, jeez.

    Have fun with all this.

  86. The Royal Family’s PR has really been going hard against Meghan the last couple of weeks. I wonder what their endgame is.

if she really is pregnant, they won’t be able to drive her out of the country until after the baby is born.

If she’s not pregnant, perhaps they’re trying to make sure that fallout from that situation doesn’t harm The Firm.

  87. Well despite her wanting the church where she was married fumigated, the Queen said something along the lines of 'It has smelt fine for us since 1457 so no'. She made the mistake of shouting at Kate's staff and probably yes, the staff do all hate her. Silly moo. She really thought she was going to re-organise the Royals. Anne Boleyn tried that love...didn't end too well then either ;)

  88. @emerald

Frogmore has 10 bedrooms. It's been published in every article I've seen on this move. It's a big place.

Oh and you DO understand the financial concept of preserving the principle, right?
