This alliterate former A- list mostly television actor from a now defunct network hit ensemble show hosted his annual meet the new boys in town Halloween party for his "friends." It is nothing but a meat market and the disgraced director who is about to get more disgraced was very pleased with his efforts.

ReplyDeleteI only needed to see him sing at Lincoln Center once in a performance (very talented btw), and see his entourage to be be like.... hey 👋 lol.
DeleteNever watched Glad it’s over/I mean “Glee”, but when I saw he married I was kinda stupefied. For a second. This was about a year before Singers stuff came to light
Are we ever going to see this "damaging article"?
ReplyDeleteDid they say WHICH November?
ReplyDeleteI thought Singer was staying overseas.
ReplyDeleteThis is such bullshit. The article isn’t coming. The movie has opened. The midterm elections will take over the news cycle Tuesday and wipe it all away
ReplyDeleteGOOD JOB, FUCKUP ESQUIRE!
It is coming I've spoken to some of those interviewed
DeleteStop teasing an expose that’s NEVER coming, Enty
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to see the article was coming from Esquire, difficult to believe such a closeted magazine would pull the curtain back on anything.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the Esquire media kit, the November issue is on sale October 23, while the December issue is on sale December 4. So who the hell knows when or if it's ever coming out.
ReplyDeleteProbably on the 12th, as Letterman would say.
seriously, it doesnt even MATTER now
ReplyDeletebohemian rhapsody has been released
the midterms will change the topic of all news on tuesday
ESQUIRE FUCKED UP. OPEN SECRET FUCKED UP. THEY ALL FUCKED UP.
they had a chance and they DROPPED it. fox probably got to them. good job guys! way to tease justice that NEVER comes. Enty's been just as complicit in the tease. such BULLSHIT
Agreed @notthisagain
DeleteWaiting for the Godot cover of Esquire.
ReplyDeleteKim Masters, another one who would definitely know if such an article exists, made reference to it this week. So is An Open Secret twitter and of course Enty.
ReplyDeleteWhatever reason for the delay, there is an article, I'm sure of it
I miss Himmmm--I bet they'd have some color to add too

ReplyDeleteSince we're apparently making this a multi blind discussion today,
ReplyDeleteYou can't put that one on Enty:

“I have known for some time that Esquire magazine may publish a negative article about me,” Singer wrote. “They have contacted my friends, colleagues and people I don’t even know. In today’s climate where people’s careers are being harmed by mere accusations, what Esquire is attempting to do is a reckless disregard for the truth, making assumptions that are fictional and irresponsible.”
Guess Esquire will have to stick to articles about dress ties and full page ads of half clothed young male models, seriously try flipping through it sometime. Worst free subscription I ever had.

ReplyDelete"Enty's been just as complicit in the tease."
ya'think?
Maybe it's best not to take blind item sites too seriously, no matter how seriously they want to be taken.
Maybe the article will come in time to kill any oscar possibilties for the movie
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's not entirely Esquire's fault- my friend was part of an expose on this woke dude on the left and it took MONTHS for the piece to get published because the dude's lawyers wouldn't let up, and this was just some politics writer, not a famous director with a $200m net worth and Marty Singer on his side (and this was on Jezebel, which probably isn't that much lower on the scale than Esquire, I wouldn't think?)
ReplyDeleteBut yeah at this point if they release it during the midterms they are fucking idiots.
ReplyDeleteIf there is an article on Bryan Singer by Esquire, it is being verified with a fine tooth comb by a team of lawyers; this could take a lot of time, especially, if the accusations against Singer will include sexual harassment, statutory rape or any other career-ending allegations. Singer will have at his disposal a large array of personal, professional and studio lawyers. The lawyers could even seek an injunction agianst Esquire publishing; or, they could offer settlements to the alleged victims or even to Esquire, to stop publication.
ReplyDeleteThe network I work for has several lawyers on retainer to analyze news stories.
It’s a shame because Bohemian Rhapsody will make its money back this opening weekend. Most of the people I know, are neither aware or even care about the possible allegations against Singer. It also seems like some of these articles are fishing expeditions to attract other victims to step forward. And, it’s easier for the general public to understand the MeToo movement man vs. woman charges, than the man vs. boy pool party allegations.
Article meant to drop during Awards season , not ow, same thing they did with Franco
ReplyDeleteOK Tricia - So you saw MM perform at Lincoln Center. That is where he earned his first Tony-nomination. And it was well deserved... But why else with your "insider" info? you love to throw that around. How bout you give it up to not? And YES - I have the receipts. So keep guessing & playing at "#1" guess. But that is all it is...
ReplyDeleteMatthew Morrison is NOT gay. Add him to the list of wrongly named ‘closted’ guys on this site. Sometimes i feel like im back in the ‘90s here where every good looking, guy whose gay friendly and supportive and not macho is assumed to be gay.
ReplyDeleteHe may not be 100% gay (Lea Michele said they used to date in her memoir, and I believe her), but he is at the very least bisexual. Check out this link and scroll down to the bottom for the old, infamous pic of him making out with Anderson Cooper's ex BF, Ben Maisani, in a gay club Maisani owns in NYC:
