Blind Item #1

It is going to be really interesting when this permanent A list singer gets a check for the insurance damages and it is addressed to his actress wife who had the property changed into her name alone a couple years ago.

  1. Robin Thicke who just lost him home in the fire in Malibu, with Paula Patton as his actress ex- wife.

  8. What a way to find out you've been shafted!

  9. Tricia got it. But how can you change the name on the title without your spouse's approval?

    ReplyDelete
  10. This is so dumb. You can’t just change property title without the knowledge and consent of another owner. Are you REALLY an attorney Enty???

  11. No way Robin Thicke is permanent. This has to be Neil Young.

  12. If it's addressed to her, why would he get the cheque?

  13. They got married this year. No way she changed the title "years ago".

  14. Neil Youngs house burned down? I think he bought her other house too but that was back east. To change titles involves a complicated process. Quit claim deed needs to be filed.

  15. Sd Auntie: Miley Cyrus and Liam lost their homes as well.

  16. You can't just change the title without informing someone. Come the hell on already. A quitclaim also has to be notarized, which makes it even more unlikely some doddery old person high on drugs or whatever signed without realizing.

    1. I signed someone else's car over to myslef and only paid a notary $40 which was partially a tip because she only charged $15. This was all after I paid the person for the car and they tried to fuck me (report it stolen and take the car back) so I had to take matters into my own hands. It's illegal but possible and I'm assuming easier for a person with more money and connections.

  17. Yes i saw that @boo. Along with Gerard Butler. I think its 15 percent contained but the paradise fire is a tragedy.

  18. +1 Tricia. Totally Neil Young, , there were many blinds about Darryl trying to get him to transfer property to her name a few years ago before they were married.
I once went to a concert of his in Santa Monica the night his home in Broad Beach north of Malibu proper burned down, we were surprised he showed up. It was maybe in the 80's. Its not his first time at the Malibu Fire rodeo. He was flown in by helicopter as PCH was closed down due to the fire at that time.

      Thatname for the share@LA Native:)
The 80s must’ve been when he was doing the rockabilly thing I think?(and pissing off his corporate sponsors😂)

  20. I saw old Neil blamed Donald Trump for the fires and losing his home. Now he can blame Trump for getting swindled out of his property.

I need to see the insanity behind blaming trump for this. How? Did Donald light the fire himself?

I used to just shrug it off as the same as the 'Thanks Obama" crybabies on the Republican side, but this is just unhinged.

As a CA resident since 1980, I know exactly who's to blame - policies by the state that hamper proper land management, including clear cutting of brush and removal of dead trees, and creating fire breaks and doing controlled burns. Partially, anyway - CA burns every year, you can thank Mother Nature for a lot of it. But now that some celebs lost their overpriced shacks, oh noes, it's the evil orange haired man again! Gimme a fucking break. If you want to save the spotted vole or burrowing owl, or whatever, then you can't live in flammable areas, unless you allow land management that will reduce fire risk. Which will happen anyway. With the current restrictions on land management and fire risk abatement in both areas, I wouldn't live anywhere near them.

  23. @Unknown, whenever I see a bunch of brush and dead trees I always wonder, "Are they just waiting for someone to start that bonfire? It is not going to rot away fast enough."

  24. How exactly does one go about getting their name solely on other people's property? Asking for a friend.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Why would Neil care? He's worth many times more than Hannah.

@ Unknown, if California is having a hard time finding the labor to work its huge agricultural industry (which is probably why CA is soft on immigrants and illegals... they need the labor), they are probably finding it impossible to find the manpower to remove brush and dead trees.

  26. I got the house AND the mortgage during my divorce. Title was changed and everything.

Hell, I even paid the Mortgage, Back payments, Insurance, Taxes & “Late Fees” for 5 years, when I filed (and repaid) Chapter 13 Bankruptcy.

It was 100% my financial responsibility. I know I’ve mentioned how the May 20, 2013, OKC/Moore Tornado totaled my whole

neighborhood. Every DAMN check from the Insurance Company was made out to my former husband & myself. He hadn’t been on the

policy or Title for nearly 10 years. (Don’t get me started on Wells Fargo-“hot mess” is a kind way to describe them).

Man knew every bit of MY business bc he had to sign the checks along with me. 🤦🏻‍♀️
