This A+ list mostly movie actor is spinning a yarn about yet another delay to this massive movie undertaking. The thing is, there is something physically wrong with him and he is undergoing treatment.
@Lyss L, Do jets have pedals? I dont know about these things. If they do how is wee Tom going to reach them. He'll have to sit on a couple of phone directories on the seat as it is.
Tom Cruise badly broke his ankle in his last film doing his own stunts. I would think his doctors are treating it and asking him NOT to put any pressure on it for the near future. He would be reckless to undertake another action film and break it again. No one is going to pay $ to see Tom Cruise acting in a wheelchair. Unless it's a remake of Born On The Fourth Of July.
Can someone explain how the hell Hollywood will convince the US MILITARY to lend them a 20 Million dollar jet for their movie star to play with and maybe fly correctly?
I suspect that's some PR bullshit because I'm not seeing that.
Hmmm this feels like Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick to me.
If it got out that Cruise is not a Scientology hands on healer & either cannot heal himself or have a more powerful CoS healer cure him with just CoS methods that would be quite the story & very bad for CoS (didn't Travolta at one time also possess the CoS healing gift?).
I know that the US military has sent Top Gun: Maverick back to the drawing board because ostensibly (according to military news outlets) they want to feature different military hardware than was in the script (they have shot a bit out on a cruise that left from Norfolk & up until today I understood they were shooting flight school scenes in San Diego (though current real world Navy Fighter Weapons School has moved inland, go figure).
Very likely TC. He's getting up there in age and I can tell you from experience that once you bust up your ankle real bad, it's never ever quite the same afterward. Time for him to hang it up and go towards more dramatic, well written roles. He's actually a very gifted, albeit underrated, actor.
Top Gun part Deux?
ReplyDeleteKilmer?
Dwayne Johnson??
ReplyDeleteTom Cruise?
ReplyDeleteOr Affleck
If this is Kilmer I really side eye the rating of A+. Could be Tom Cruise, but I don't know that he's considered 'mostly' movie.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Chris Pratt for Cowboy Ninja Viking?
Guardians of the Galaxy Vin Diesel?

ReplyDeleteTom Cruise pushing back top gun sequel so he can learn to really fly a jet to make his role more believable. Okay Tom.
