A pap raced a fan into the brush yesterday when this former A+ list tweener threw an empty pill bottle after swallowing what was left inside. The fan wouldn't let the pap near the bottle. Really would have been nice of the fan just to let the pap take a photo of the bottle.

ReplyDeleteAlec Baldwin just arrested for punching someone over a parking spot. Good. He's a serious a-hole.
ReplyDeleteIm cometely certain this happened😟
ReplyDeleteAlec is a violent bastard
ReplyDeleteweird.
ReplyDeleteAww come on. The fan was just protecting the star from the nasty papses.
ReplyDeletePretty careless, but maybe the bottle had no label, unless the guy is the world's dumbest...
ReplyDeleteHe's in the running...
DeleteI couldn't find the bottle but I think I found the packaging!

Oh goody someone is a litterbug.
ReplyDeleteSomeone please remind whoever this is of this incident if he/she ever starts advocating for environmentalism.
Guess the pap will have to go back to digging in the garbage cans, scumbag.
ReplyDeleteBaldwin's wife, Hilarious, was talking about having Baby #5 yesterday. She already HAS Baby #5. Her husband!
ReplyDeleteIf you're living in Minot, North Dakota, the story probably sounds insane. You hit someone because they took your parking space?
Yes and yes. In NYC (all 5 Boroughs), parking is the Holy Grail in life for someone who owns a car. Someone was standing in the space holding it for Baldwin when someone swooped in and took the empty space. Men and women have been killed for doing this. Killed. That is how out of control life is here. It's why the subway trains break down every ten minutes, and the commuter trains to New Jersey et al run 60 minutes late every morning/night.
If you have a few spare minutes when you're not reading CDAN (I know, I know! Breaking away from these blinds is unheard of) check out the on-line N Y Daily Mail and N Y Post. There will be at least three front-page stories about what we endure here on the Subways. A young man jerked off on a lady this week. A manspreader hit en elderly man who asked him to please put his legs together so he could sit down. Kid smiled, smacked him in the face.
Not defending Mr. B, but his relative/friend WAS holding the spot and the driver of the other car saw this. It's called common courtesy.
Oh boy! I am gonna get crucified now by all of you.
haha @Boo I live in Brooklyn & keep a car here. Lucky for me I live next to a school & a hospital so the evenings are usually easy to find spots - but if the school is hosting an event then anything goes! Double parking? Nbd. Fire hydrant? Eh, hopefully there's not a fire.
ReplyDeleteI lived in Pa for quite a while and know all about parking issues, particularly when it comes to snow days. Still doesn't make him less of an asshole.
ReplyDeleteagree, im actually surprised he was arrested for this.
ReplyDeleteThere is another element to this story we mere mortals aren't privy to. Kfitz is right. He must have really done some damage to the other person. Or, the other person is a judge, local politician or someone with clout. Better yet, when they saw it was Baldwin who hit them, they saw $$$$$ signs!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend, Lexi.
Ophelia, I love your posts. Shoudda known you wuz from Big B! Lots of energy there, right Sandy? Wish I could afford to live there. Always wanted to buy Truman Capote's old house. Maybe in my next life.
Also in the papers now: Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson split is getting messy! Didn't see that coming, right? LOL
@Boo, not by me. I used to have a car in Manhattan for many years but currently do not. But the behavior of looking for a parking spot is so deeply imbedded in my brain, that if I see ‘a good spot’ I’m so utterly disappointed that I don’t have a car to park there. In the past, I used to have friends call me if they had a prime spot that they were leaving that was good for several days & I’d move my car to their spot. It’s a whole community (like people who walk their dogs in a dog park.)
ReplyDeleteSadly people have been killed or seriously injured as you mentioned. But I must disagree about someone standing in a spot to hold it. If his car is not present, it’s not his spot & it’s up for grabs. But Baldwin was out of line as per usual. Punching someone?? Geez.
@kfitz: He was most likely arrested for assault as he should have been.
ReplyDeleteShit, if someone was "standing" in a parking spot to save it or just felt like standing there, I'd mow his/her ass over. No problems.
ReplyDeleteBaldwin can use a driver service. He can afford it.
....+1
DeleteThe individual holding the space should have been flattened, pour encourager les autres.
ReplyDeleteEveryone: Baldwin leaving precinct photo on N Y Post. Apparently, the person is in the hospital. The Waiting Room there must be awash in ambulance chasing lawyers!
ReplyDeleteUPDATE: Sadly, it appears the two Saudi sisters DID commit suicide. They maxed out a credit card living in NYC hotels etc. One story this week said the girls had applied for asylum here in the US and, because of that, their family in Virginia had been called by the Saudi Consulate and told they must return immediately to Saudi Arabic. The family had not seen the girls in two months.
A man saw the two sisters praying in a park just before they jumped. He said he will always be haunted by them that day in the park. I would be, too.
So, it wasn't murder after all. Or was it? Dateline NBC and CBS 48 Hours is already on this, I am sure.
Everyone have a peaceful & safe weekend. Remember to vote Tuesday for the candidates of your choice.
Saudi Arabia. Sorry.
ReplyDelete@Boo thanks! Love your posts also & love the energy here in BK :)
ReplyDeleteThe story about the Saudi girls is so sad. Now they're saying they were tied together not bound together?
When I lived in Sheepshead Bay, an overbuilt neighborhood in Brooklyn, my next door neighbor had a parking spot in a building where he didnt live but owned at and he advertised it for rent at $100/mo. That's how valuable a parking spot is in all of NYC. There aren't any on the street.
ReplyDelete@Sandybrook: Depends on the neighborhood. My former apt. was in a neighborhood where you only had to move your car once/week. That’s why my friends called me if they had a good spot because at that point, I didn’t need my car every day.
DeleteSandy: Sheepshead Bay is now one of the most desirable addresses in Brooklyn. If Baldwin had pulled his trick out there a Russian would have gone inside his home, come out guns ablazin'! Sheepshead Bay is a lovely area.
ReplyDeleteI said I wanted to live in Brooklyn but couldn't afford it: Forgot I lived in Brighton Bay and Bay Ridge at one time. Oops. But that was long ago when apartments were affordable.
A space in a midtown NYC parking garage is $580 a month fyi. Plus tips and holiday bonus for staff.
ReplyDeleteTheBPlot: Where does this all end? A parking space costs more than a SoHo loft!? I wonder what this situation is like in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Anyone know?
ReplyDelete@BOO, if you know of a SoHo loft that rents for $580 per month (plus tips & holiday bonus for staff), please sign me up ASAP. I’ll move in tomorrow and even pre-tip the staff for the holidays. Thanks.
DeleteBoo is right about the parking in NYC no matter the borough. Still if someone was standing in the spot I thought it was understood that the space was taken. I don't drive so I'm not sure.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the person who stole the spot was from New Jersey. No native New Yorker steps in front of anything yellow or with Jersey plates.
If you don’t drive you clearly don’t understand the rules so why are you commenting? You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about & have admitted it.
DeleteBut I do agree, NJ sucks and whoever invented those ‘jug handles’ should be incarcerated. Hope you enjoy your bus trip to Port Authority.

ReplyDelete@Boo I definitely agree about NYC parking. Last century, a fellow alum from my Alma Mater was shot and killed by a woman in her eighties over a parking space in NYC just two months after graduating.
ReplyDeleteTry the Chicago method, put a couch or other heavy furniture in the space to hold it. Yes, we do that in the winter.
