My nephew wants a spider for Christmas.
They are $50 at the pet store, but I think I can find one cheaper off the web.
I don't think that shit they put on their overpriced box of popcorn is butter.
Tons of it. Just take a refill container to the desk and get it fir free
Used to manage movie theatres. A guy came in one time and ranted that when we asked if he wanted butter on his popcorn, and we put that goo on it, that we were false advertising and we should be sued. So we had to change it to "Would you like buttery-flavored topping on your popcorn?"
And no. It ain't anywhere near butter. Looks remarkably like Sunny Delight when it's at room temp.
But I still get it. A little in the middle and a little on top.
I get an XL and ask for Extra Butter! Greasy fingers.
I don't get popcorn at the movie theater.
At home, try Kerrygold butter. You'll thank me later.
Nope. I homebrew, and the chemical they use in that stuff is considered a defect in beer. I can't eat it now.
yes...makes the popcorn trick much more pleasurable
you mean butter flavored grease? absolutely!!
@PapayaSF I LOVE Kerrygold! Go thru it like crazy!! I melt a little and drizzle on Popcorn at home. Never ask for that fake butter junk at movies. Wouldn't even buy overpriced movie popcorn but the 3 yr old grand loves it.
I don’t eat movie theater🍿popcorn. It’s disgusting.
@justan average guy: if you date someone who actually likes you, you don’t need the popcorn trick. Just throw a coat over your lap for a little privacy.
I don't go to movie theaters anymore. I just download all my movies, and prepare my own popcorn with lots of butter and salt. Yum.
Only if I feel like barfing later
YES.
It is so delicious. It is so disgusting. I always feel sick afterwards and hate myself for it and swear I'll never do it again knowing that I absolutely will.
YES! As DDonna said - it's so delicious and so disgusting. I don't go to movies much anymore BUT when I do go, I get XL layered butter. Oh so good and oh so gross.
Every. Damn. Time. I cough up an extra $1 for the real butter, though.
I'm OK with the alleged butter. My kid works at a popcorn counter in a food court and insists that everything there is vegan. Maybe the "butter" is but they advertise "real Wisconsin cheddar" on the cheesy stuff. He's probably wrong.
RINGO, I'm with you. Movie tickets in NYC, even Senior tickets, are insane. I wait a couple of months and watch it on Amazon for a couple of bucks. And I, too, make my own popcorn. And yes, I, too, use Kerrygold butter on it. What's not to love about a product that comes from happy, contented, well-fed Irish Catholic Cows?
skip the popcorn and give me the pretzel bites with the fake chemical cheese! yummmm
Yes. Because ... yes. And i don't tell anyone. It's my personal guilty super-secret. Just lots and lots of (can't really be called butter because it's just flavored oil stuff) butter. TONSSSSS!! Just - YES!!!
Absolutely fucking not.
@Aquagirl
It was a joke, i have never nor do i plan on ever doing "popcorn trick"
A reasonable amount, although the butter quality has declined over the years. Yeah that's right theaters, you jacked up prices for a lower quality product and then you wonder why nobody wants to come to your business, I said it. Guess that goes for the popcorn and the films.
Absolutely or why bother?
Alamo Drafthouse puts real butter on popcorn so yes to there.
When at home I pop my own in the air popper & use Amish roll butter.
Elsewhere nope because even roaches do not want to eat that fake crap.
Do you mean I have some popcorn with my faux butter? Why yes I DO!
Not even plain popcorn, too many WW points.
When I get off WW I'll try popcorn with Kerrygold, thanks for the tip!
YES. 🍿✨ WTF, Enty. 🙎🏻♀️
Plain popcorn is like vanilla baby-making sex. On the marital bed. Under the sheets. With the lights off.
LAYERED butter, in fact. Not sure if this is a Canadian thing, but our butter seems to be the real thing too because you pay for it but can get "topping" for no extra charge.
'Can you fill it half-way then...' and off to the 'butter' dispenser. Back to the counter for them to fill it the rest of the way, and back to the dispenser. Totally worthy it !
A small with lots of faux butter topping.
I drench popcorn in the butter.
I always read your comments in Sophia Petrillo’s grumpy voice.
I like my popcorn sweet.
