I don't have information from every single appearance she makes on television, but for the past five that I know about, this foreign born A list reality host was incredibly nice to every person she encountered and even took photos with people (which she never does). A 180 degree turn. It seems genuine too, and not something her PR team said she needed to do because everyone really disliked coming into contact with her.

To be fair to her, she was married to Salman Rushdie once upon a time and as far as I know there was still a fatwa against him which probably made it dangerous for either of them to be or deal with the public. Maybe it carried over with her to be extremely cautious and it translates to being very rude.
