ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of Kristen, but I don't see Charlie's Angels, as being a big hit. Certainly not enough of a hit to keep her A List. She is better suited to indie movies. I also don't see her beating someone, even someone willing.

ReplyDeleteLots of girls/women liked Kristen because she seemed like a down to Earth tomboy type who could clean up and look cute. Then she was outed as a total sneaky home wrecker which turned some off from her. Then you had the men who thought she was the low key cute girl they could get but then came out as gay and started looking more “masculine.” So they were turned off from her. Doubt she will ever be as famous as before.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me wonder if she's truly deviant or if something happened to her when she was younger. Remember, she's been acting since she was a kid. And based on some of the blinds I've seen on here, anything could have happened and no one would have said a thing!

DeleteKristen lucked out with Bella Swan. I don't think she acts. The movie with Tony Saprano was Bella Swan with a dirty mouth. But I read somewhere that she got the equivalent to an Oscar in France.

ReplyDeleteShe's always had such anger issues, since at least the begining of Twi-crap which she only got bc their 1st choice Emily Browning didn't want to sign her life away having to do sequel after sequel for the next 5 years, and K Stank's BF was buddies with the director of the 1st Twi-crap.

Well, I find her an interesting actress; esp. the films before/after the twilight thing. I don't think she wants to be a big movie star. I do like most of the indie films she has made..I liked Personal Shopper & Into The Wild. I wish people here would stop trying to shame one another. My college major was Cinema Studies, and believe me, cinema verite, neo-realism, nouvelle vague are all important components of film history. Knowing about it doesn't make anyone an asshole.
ReplyDeleteI like her acting style, realistic, rather than over top. I loved Clouds of Sils Maria, Personal Shopper and Camp X-Ray. Kristen acting style reminds me of Gillian Anderson (my favorite actress), Jodie Foster and Julianne Moore.
