Blind Items Revealed #1

September 27, 2018

The PR folks for this former A+ list singer turned actress who steals music from those who can't challenge her, have insisted that when possible the singer be referred to as a movie icon. Umm, because of her large body of work in film????

    1. Me too. She is campaigning HARD though so I think it's worth considering she'll be nominated

    2. Can you imagine her acceptance speech?? Ugh

    3. Vomit now bc she’ll win

  2. Has anyone seen the movie yet? I haven't and none of my friends have either. I'm just curious how it is.

  3. The PR over saturation is very telling of the shit product they are pushing

  4. Not a huge Gaga Fanny any means, but I will say ASIB is fantastic, and she will win the Oscar. And it will be deserved, in my opinion.

  5. She is getting good reviews for her role and the movie is getting good to great reviews. BCoop is getting good reviews for his role and the new version of this story.

  6. I saw a direct from PR introduction and it said “Music Icon”. Still nauseating to label yourself a music icon.

I saw the movie. Liked it. Don’t want to give any spoilers, but those who didn’t know the story I think were more impressed.

  7. Alot of film reviewers are gay and gays LOVE gaga. Just sayin'.

  8. I saw the movie last night and it was good. Gaga was very good but not Oscar good.

  9. that movie totally has the Oscar vibes all over it. maybe the words 'iconic movie' were taken out of turn; even she knows one movie doesn't make you an acting icon. anyway, it says her PR people are insisting not her.

  10. Which song did Gaga steal? Why is she more to blame than Lukas Nelson, Mark Ronson, Mark Nilan, Bradley Cooper, Natalie Hemby, Paul Blair and all the other music writers on the soundtrack?

  11. Lol at the Gaga fans here trying to campaign for her. It was mopey dreck. Like a Lifetime movie. Notice that this movie is getting way more PR than any other movie? It’s not a coincidence. Lots of pay offs. Why don’t you cover that, Enty? Gaga’s camp paid trolls to smear the competition and write good reviews all over the internet. It’s like massive brainwashing to convince people they saw anything other than some reductive nonsense that should be on the Lifetime movie network. The way she said her lines was as if she was in her head. If she wins an Oscar, it will further prove it’s all about PR and not talent.

    1. That kind of proves how sick her shit is.

  13. I really try to separate the artist from the art. I know that's not always possible. (The last Bryan Singer movie I saw was The Usual Suspects, and I won't see any of his movies -- ever again.) But I must admit the trailer for this movie looks good and will probably get me in the theater.

  14. It would be impossible for me to suspend my belief to the point where I believe that coked up, demonic whore is the doe eyed innocent she is acting as, or that pretty boy Cooper in his prime is some washed up down on his luck has been.

But yeah, the gaga fan army all say how great it is, even though most of us don't know a single person who has actually seen it.

  15. Her movie has a 90% critics' rating on RT. If Hollywood has taught us anything over the past couple years, it's that only a misogynist manchild or a Russian troll would dispute a RT critics' rating. It must be a great movie.

    ReplyDelete
  16. But, but, but, I thought all the critics were worthless misogynists? That is why the Ghostbuster and oceans reboot got horrible scores despite being GREAT movies! Surely their high rating of this movie must mean it is a women hating, disgusting film.

  17. ALL ALL ALL my gay friends are LOSING THEIR MINDS over how much they absolutely ADORE the movie.

Seriously I don't get it. I haven't seen it but I saw the previews and *meh* I don't see what all the fuss is about.

  18. Remember when Entry said ASIB was terrible and that Gaga's acting was horrendous and the studio was worried??

    ReplyDelete
  19. No because her "music" thing will play out and she wants to transition to films a la I dont know...Barbra?

I dont know...all the theaters have died in my neighborhood...do people actually still go to movies instead of downloading them off of Chinese bootleg servers like we do?

Why? I mean if there is subtitles anywhere you won't understand but it is free...

Hollywood is done anyway...they have been hemorrhaging red ink for a couple of years...streaming and cable is on the rise. HW kind of hamstrung...

  20. " Hollywood is done anyway" Let's hope..please, let that place crash and burn

  21. Did you see Rex Reed's review of this movie? Hilarious! https://observer.com/2018/10/a-star-is-born-review-critics-slobber-over-gaga-and-cooper-but-why/

  22. @Youre

"Gaga fans here trying to campaign for her."

Or her nonfans are trying to see what is a fair criticism and what is hysterical condemnation.

    "It was mopey dreck"

No doubt about that, since that is what every ASIB could be called. Did you see it? Opening weekend? Why? Come ON! It was advertised as mopey dreck, so why go?

"write good reviews all over the internet"

Three reviews I read were in printed publications. All praised Gaga while not loving the film in general.

" If she wins an Oscar, it will further prove it’s all about PR and not talent."

Or that her performance was much better than expected. The Oscars love an unexpected performance and god knows it's better than their usual bullshit of heaping accolades on extreme transformations this time - Nicole Kidman in a nose, Charlize Theron in bad skin, Sean Penn with a droopy eye or Leo D inside a horse.

  23. @plot Enty is referring to how Gaga stole Judas outright from an unknown, small time songwriter named Rebecca Francescatti, when her boyfriend brought the song to her team and then when the songwriter tried to make noise about it, Gaga threatened her with her giant legal team and a multi-million dollar lawsuit so that the songwriter had no recourse but to stay quiet and watch her song be stolen.

  25. @Eff

The DM article you posted said the case was settled out of court, which points to Francsecatti worked out some sort of deal for money with Gaga.

Her blog there, in which she compares herself to Einstein, Edison (who, hilariously, stole most of his best inventions from Tesla), and Chopin, is a little much, don't you think? And the commentary on Gaga's undergarments being old and nasty? Then this Francescatti claims Einstein and Edison were penniless like herself? OMFG!

Doesn't lend credibility to it's purpose, I feel.

Ms. Francescatti might be 100% but she still signed an settlement eventually.

She also stole her nickname from a Queen song,
    "Radio Gaga".
Very clever, Stefani Germanotta (her real name)

    ReplyDelete
  27. So? Radiohead "stole" their name from The Talking Heads.

David Bowie "stole" his name from a knife brand.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Duran Duran stole their name from Barbarella. Then they named a song Electric Barbarella. Then Sumner Redstone's girlfriend stole that as the name of her band, and Redstone forced MTV to air a show about it.

What were we talking about again?

    ReplyDelete
  29. When I first heard Gaga (poker face), I thought to myself, "Why is Madonna's new material boring and why does it sound like shit? The old material girl needs to be put out to pasture."

Gaga may have avoided public lawsuits with undisclosed settlements, but that doesn't mean she is nothing but a poor poor poor poor person's Madonna rip-off.

And that's not taking into consideration that she ripped off her persona from her dead "friend" with nary a peep of gratitude.

    ReplyDelete
  30. So Gaga is a rip off of the flabby rip off artist Madge.

"Music makes the bourgeoisie want to re-bel!"

"Express yourself!" "Don't tell me!" "Papa don't preach!" "Dance!"

At least Gaga hasn't ripped off Madge's stunning lyrical genius and her militaristic imperatives.

    ReplyDelete
  31. @plot - see now, you have proved my point; Madonna was excited - look at all those exclamation points.

I'm not familiar with Gaga's catalog, but I'm guessing she doesn't have a single song with an exclamation point in the title.
