Markle and Harry will probably end up under the Buckingham Palace court, along with Anne and Edward, and the Buckingham Palace budget. Which is not a good place to be if you like fancy dresses.

Maybe Jess pulled the dresses in advance and just sent them with Meghan, which would explain why Meghan's "baby bump" keeps getting bigger and smaller on the trip, depending on what she is wearing.
Under looser dresses, she appears visibly pregnant and keeps holding her stomach for the cameras. Then the next day she wears a form-fitting dress or skinny jeans and the bump is gone.

Friends have said what she was like with her ex hubs, the producer. She lived with him for years before they were married, she was never a struggling actress. But, she was sick of audiioning & wanted him to put her in his projects & he wouldn't do that. So, when she got Suits, she thought she "made it" & broke up with him.

Which is a BITCH, btw, and no other country does this. It amounts to double taxation unless one is committed to some serious financial planning which excludes all US banking establishments.
Meghan, however, is not salaried.
@Krab, there are currently three courts in the British Royal Family: Clarence House, with Chuck and Camilla, funds Kensington Palace, with Will and Kate and until recently Harry and Meghan. And Buckingham Palace, which funds the rest of the Royals.
ReplyDeleteChuck funded Meghan and Harry's wedding. If the new Sussex court ends up under Clarence House, he can continue to fund the dresses she returns for cash (a business which I'm sure the IRS is watching because she's still a US citizen and owes US taxes).
If, by contrast, the new Sussex court ends up under Buckingham Palace with the rest of the secondary Royals, Liz and Phil are writing the checks, and she's going to have to duke it out with Sophie and Eugenie and the Duke of Gloucester for dress money.
Maybe Charles can send it to her secretly with PayPal.

Hard to keep all of that in banks that don't disclose to the US financial authorities. Actually, she and her spouse are also supposed to file FATCA declarations (thank you, Barack Obama) disclosing the contents of all joint accounts to the IRS.
I'm sure the IRS minions will be gathering around the break room to check that one out.

Anyhoo, I subscribe to Royal Family News Updates through the Daily Mail. The author of this book says that Harry was heard screaming at the top of his lungs days before the wedding: "Whatever Meghan wants, she gets!" This scene is identical to one back in 1936 when the Prince of Wales lit into one of the kitchen staff when he didn't make the 'Club Sandwiches' Wallis had asked to be made for lunch by the pool! I never tire of reading about their lives. Like we would never go off on someone (mom) for messing up the school lunch box again! Good times.

But, hey, it was FAMILY that were informed.
Later, the Palace made the official announcement.
Mary did keep her pregnancy to herself at Edith's wedding, so as to not overshadow the wedding.
I don't know about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's announcement....
Only time will tell.
And, we should all be so lucky to live long and well to see how all this turns out.
Meghan is incredibly popular here in the UK. It's only American stans and Daily Mail comment dwellers who like to pretend she's not popular, and clearly none of them are British.

MM is the worst thing to happen to the RF, but HM knows what she is doing. She has MM's number. It's making the world pay attention to the RF again.
