The cat is out of the bag. The disgraced A-list Director is already trying to get out in front of the bombshell about to drop on him and his crew this month. They have the goods on them all. Between the article and the videotaped interview with a former close associate, it’s some very horrible stuff.
Singer, esquire interview. He has tried to get out ahead of it. Fucking perverted piece of shit
ReplyDeleteGreat. When is it Henley's turn? The Twelfth of Never?
ReplyDeleteYeah. Still waiting for Henley! That was supposed to happen in May...
DeleteDo tell There are so many other than Henley but my guess never for any of them.
ReplyDeleteSinger. Esquire about to drop a big story. The "An Open Secret" twitter account has been tweeting about this.
ReplyDeleteAny day now...
ReplyDeleteand still, bohemian rhapsody - which he EDITED THE WHOLE THING - will go on to make cash and get Malek statues. people will forget Malek & co. signed onto Bohemian Rhapsody knowing full well Singer was the director. Fox, which has enabled and covered up his abuse for years, will also remain untouched and thirsty as they reach for that Queen oscar
ReplyDeleteMalek is an impressionist at best. This movie looks like a bunch of pretty garbage. I see a costume Oscar but that's it.
ReplyDeleteBut it's got to be more than old allegations or even new ones without some kind of legal action/prosecution. The article needs to show some kind of evidence or corroboration, which if the reporters have, why no prosecution ?
ReplyDeleteAnd I think he's a monster but there has to more than we've had to this point.
Sacha would have been a spectacular Freddie. This one, I'll skip.
ReplyDeleteRami oddly compared being offered the role to a "gun to the head" moment.
Upvoted for Sacha. Freddy was actually an intelligent guy. Sotheby's used to pay Freddy as a Consultant. They would ring him up if they had any artwork from Aubry Beardsley, and ask Freddy to authenticate the piece.
Delete+1 for Sasha
Deleteramis leading on goldderby and other reputable sites as being a nominee for best actor in drama at the golden globes and even best actor at the oscars.
ReplyDeletenot even kidding. go check the numbers. the people who have seen the screenings say he'll be nominated for an oscar.
trust me, I wish you guys would be right and he wouldnt be nominated for anything...but I think he will be, and thats unfortunate. Fox is gonna separate themselves from Singer when this bombshell drops, just as they always have.
current lineups for frontrunners - bradley cooper, christian bale, viggo mortenson, ryan gosling, rami malek.
ReplyDeleteno joke :(
Singer is a complete sociopath.
ReplyDeleteLet's not put Singer's history on Rami Malek who is trying to establish a career for himself as a working movie actor.
ReplyDeleteToo often we fault those who are just trying to get a leg up for the monsters they work with. They literally have the choice of THIS MOVIE OR MAYBE NOTHING ELSE EVER when these sort of opportunities arise and it is unfair to judge up & coming talent for taking every chance they get.
Even if it means riding on Weinstein's bathrobe.
+1, Hunter
ReplyDeleteHow far do people want to go in condemning this film? Boycott the bank that supplied the finance? Burn down the catering supplier? Spit on Freddy Mercury's grave?
Hooray!! Thank u Esquire. Hope the writer goes undercover for a while.
ReplyDelete@hunter and mrs meat
ReplyDeletewhat a rationalization. you could say the same thing for every actor thats worked for woody allen. and nice black or white thinking with regard to the boycott thing. hows living life where its either one extreme or the other? cause that isnt how the world works.
it doesnt matter what you or I think, Malek will be nominated.
@hunter
ReplyDelete'even if it means riding weinstein's bathrobe'
that mindset is EXACTLY why predators like him are untouchable for so long. good job.
Only A listers get to choose who they work with. Keep Singer from doing anymore prestige work. Better yet,get him on something that has him doing time, the actors will not have the choice.
ReplyDeleteEnough with Henley. Read the report from when it happened. He cannot be charged again. The living victim was either paid off,or choose to protect herself and her family from harassment. The payoff, since nothing will happen to Henley isn't worth it.
ReplyDelete@not
ReplyDeleteEase up cowboy. We don't allow innocent people to be implicated in the crimes of others. It doesn't help any cause on Planet Earth to cause suffering in the blameless employees or workers for the actions of their boss.
That should make sense to you without anyone explaining any further.
Please let this Esquire article destroy Singer. So far he’s been as untouchable as a cockroach sailing through the apocalypse. I will celebrate the day he’s brought down.
ReplyDelete"The lady doth protest too much"
ReplyDeletehttps://www.thewrap.com/bryan-singer-preemptively-denies-accusations-upcoming-esquire-article/
Fine, "enough with Henley" as you say - but WE weren't the ones drum-beating this about-to-be-dropped-Henley-bombshell. That was Enty and Himmmm. For MONTHS. And when we bit and started asking, Himmmmm laid the smack down and scolded. Then all mention of it disappeared, and the promised release date passed without mention. So pardon the fuck out of me if I'm a little skeptical about these 'any day now' bombshells yet to come. It's all too juicy when they're teasing it, but not when they're asked to pony up with the goods. Fuck 'em.

ReplyDeleteQueen is a very overrated band. Killer Queen is a great song. Bohemian Rhapsody was good until Waynes World and it became way overplayed. A couple more good songs, but nothing spectacular. But seeing how everyone jumped on the Joy Division bandwagon after the Ian Curtis film (even though New Order is the vastly superior band), I expect to see Target and Walmart selling lots of Queen t-shirts to the kids and their parents.
ReplyDeleteNothing is going to happen to Singer, except slap on the wrist. The industry doesn’t want that can of worms opened, since every Sunday pool parties still happen all across Los Angeles, like at Howard Bragman’s.
@holyunderwear “Queen is a very overrated band. Bohemian Rhapsody was good until Wayne’s World and it became way overplayed.”
DeleteSo you’re saying that Bohemian Rhapsody was a good song initially, but was featured in a movie 17 years later and suddenly became a bad song...because it became popular? There are some flaws in your logic
@plot
ReplyDeleteoh shut the fuck up plot, nobody gives a damn what you think. we know how you feel about ped0s.
Oh, shit something turned out not to be true on a gossip site. I guess we should all stop coming here and participating.
ReplyDeleteI like publicity even if no official consequences come from it. There could be some Dexter type out there that's inspired by the article and does the world a favor...
ReplyDelete@ Holy Under Wear -
ReplyDeleteQueen overrated?!?!? How dumb of you to be deaf in this blind.
Singer and I'm pushing this as mutch as I can! Down with them all!
ReplyDeletehttps://youtu.be/MZjgKETqmN4
@Tierney
ReplyDeleteA large majority of the content here is made up. Himmmmm is actually a failed screenwriter from Virginia who spent some time in Hollywood in the second half of the nineties. The other four "Himmmmm"s, the famous or successful ones in his stories, have always been him, or projections of what he could have been if he had succeeded.
RDJ is the recovering junkie he could have been. Paul Thomas Anderson is the celebrated auteur he could have been. Kiefer Sutherland is the guy whose heart was broken by a conniving woman, etc.
The content of the stories were fictions based on hearsay. Given how much of a name dropper the actual Himmmm is, he was never an inside in these wild parties. Just check his "official Twitter account". He's very delusional.
He's also the likely source on all gossip about Chris Cornell and Robert Wagner/Natalie Wood.
Then, you have the bulk of the blind items of the site which are just vague suppositions or educated guesses based on commonly available intel. Davidson and Grande have broken up? It can easily bring three or four blind items. Let's play the game. His friends are worried about his drug use. He nearly overdosed last night. He's close from being fired by Lorne Michaels. She's being coached by her publicist to look good should he die, etc. Yet, Enty, who's supposedly closer to Davidson than the needle of a syringe heard about their breakup like everybody else.
And finally, you have the stuff obviously brought by "new sources". You can see, for instance, that the site never published any blind about Steven Spielberg or David Geffen during most of its existence. Never an allusion about them, not even vague. But for a year and a half, it's been a continued narrative here, with child rings, murders and connections to famous politicians. It's obvious bullshit. These powerful people who don't hesitate about murdering any indirect witness are not even able to shutdown a website...
But these stories are VERY popular with the new readership here.
What about when he exposed Harvey?
Deletequeen overrated????? Bet you couldn't even name their first album which is amazing! Just mention a Greatest Hits album. Yeah right .... I can't be bothered to go into detail about how lazy and wrong your comment is
ReplyDeleteThis is so annoying. Fuck this singer dude. Stop making blinds about him and someone put the guy in jail. There is literally miles of evidence that this guy is a bad dude- he should be in prison no doubt. What is holding the authorities back? And please stop with these blinds just call the fucking cops already 🤦♀️
ReplyDeleteOk I'm a lurker but Queen "overrated??" They are, hands down, no question, one of the most influential and revered bands in Rick history. Period. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but Freddie had, and still has, no equal.
ReplyDeleteBryan Singer he is an asshole and I am surprised he isn't behind bars yet. Datalounge for years the gays there have talked about Singer and Kevin Spacey predilection for much younger guys. The guy who runs TMZ Harvey Levin has helped Singer in the past featuring him on TMZ to give him a chance to tell his side. Singer is powerful in Hollywood but it is sad Hollywood still protects him.
ReplyDelete@Guesser
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't Henley that Hmmm and Enty held over everyone's head. It was a CA politician who was somehow wrapped up with Henley and the teenagers, who was going to lose his political career during the primary season last spring after a Big Reveal. With that much on the line, you think we'd forget?
@not
Sooooo, for you everyone is either Singer or not Singer, pedo or not pedo, and those who will not openly attack anyone even remotely connected to a pedophiles, are themselves pedophiles even if they have never threatened, harassed, attacked or raped children.
Is this your moral universe?
No, the blind was NOT AT ALL about the politician losing his career, it was specifically about Henley, Azoff and the record label exec.
ReplyDelete"In 2018 she's going to drop a bomb of a "reveal" on the Rocker, the Manager, and the ex-label executive. She's prepared a criminal charge against them for many of their misdeeds (which include racketeering and collusion and criminal conspiracy), and is also hitting them with civil charges – with any funds being set aside for childhood victims. Because, you see, those Polaroids she swiped that night? She blew town with them. Years later she found them and put them in a safe deposit box. She now has many copies, including in her attorney's safe. They too will be revealed in her case, along with hospital records, court records, legal affidavits from old cops and Paramedics. There's even a video deposition from the original Madam back from before her death. And the former golden boy detective? He was later caught for his many, many misdeeds and arrested. And he talked too.
So as this Rocker sits down in his palace this Thanksgiving, giving thanks to himself for being so wonderful, he better enjoy it. His next one will likely be spent eating from a cold, metal tray in jail. He and his wealthy mogul pals will be the Turkeys, and justice will be served."
There was another blind about another California politician that was supposed to have committed murder at some point in his career, and that it might come out before the primaries or general election, but that was not what the "Henley blind" was about. It was about Don Henley.
Obviously stuck a few nerves by saying Queen is overrated (which they are); but, they are better than Journey. (Although, Pat Smear and Darby Crash liked Queen).
ReplyDelete@sook Can, Traffic, Little Feat, Groundhogs, Slade, Bowie, T Rex, Santana, Laura Nyro, Delaney and Bonnie, etc. all consistently put out much superior music in the same time period. And don’t even get me started on Wire- Pink Flag/Chairs Missing/154, Talking Heads, Patti Smith, Dangerhouse Records, Ramones, Pere Ubu, Bad Brains, etc.
@HCNYC Bohemian Rhapsody is still a good song, but after Waynes World, it became overplayed like Stairway to Heaven; so, I have heard it enough for this lifetime.
@Rosenthal you mean the first Self-titled Queen record that was recorded at Trident studios and has Keep yourself alive on it. Which they re-recorded because the label made them and they released the original version as a bonus track on the remastered version. You mean that first album?
You can think ghat I’m dumb and deaf, but have you heard The Schizophonics, Turbonegro-Apocalypse Dudes, Rocket From The Crypt, Rock*A*Teens, Pylon, Pat Todd and The Rank Outsiders, The Humpers, Red Aunts, Kid Congo and The Pink Monkey Birds, Des Demonas, Melt Banana, Ruins, The Woggles, Fishbone, Dream Syndicate, Three O’Clock, Faust, Amon Duul, Cat Power, Hank Wood and the Hammerheads, The Mummies, The Ogres, Hot Lunch, The Shrine, Mike Watt and the Missingmen, The Lemon Twigs, Side Eyes, The Lovesores, Buzzcocks, 999, X-Ray Spex, Radio Birdman, Lamb of God, Midnight, Mastodon, Rezillos, X, Flesheaters, Lydia Lunch Retrovirus, Jon Spencer, Shitkid, All Souls, etc. (not even starting on reggae, soul, jazz).
Should have mentione Joan Armatrading since she is tremendously underrated. And above post should have said “struck a nerve”. But point is, I would rather listen to Echo and the Bunnymen, The Cure, Psychedelic Furs, Roxy Music, Velvet Underground, Captain Beefheart, Linton Kwesi Johnson or a thousand other acts any day of the week before ever listening to Queen, who are OVERRATED!
DeleteThis video is 100 times better than the Queen movie could ever be.
ReplyDeletehttps://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=lPkz_ippXfw
@Holy Under Wear: There haven't been that many great or even very good rock acts. Really only a few, but you'd be right that Queen is not one of them.
ReplyDelete@Angela Thank you for the perspective... that answers a few questions.

ReplyDelete@Do Tell
ReplyDeleteDo you have a date for that BI? I'd much appreciate it, and for the pol. If you don't have them on hand, I can probably find them at AGC.
If Rami wins the Oscar, will he have the balls to thank Singer during his speech?
ReplyDeleteMy son asked me why the movie was called Bohemian Rhapsody. I told him it was their most popular song. He smiled and said, "Too bad it wasn't Fat-Bottomed Girls".
