Blind Item #7

Unless they are just doing amazing, this money laundering streaming service is going to get rid of every property they can from a certain company.

  2. Netflix dropping Marvel titles?

  3. The Netflix answer was here and deleted, regarding the Marvel shows cancelled. Those seem like the type of shows that would draw subscribers, even without huge ratings.

  4. Isno one ekse going to ignore the cape shit, virgin boy, dateless wonder stuff and comment on the more serioys "money laundering" bit?

  5. Enty always says Netflix is throwing away money and is a scam operation. Spending much more than they need to spend. BTW Hedge has Netflix shorted too, so take these things here as a grain of salt.

  6. Netflix is now growing, expected to add 27.4 million users this year, mostly from overseas. Their stock is stagnant, though, but they are bringing in new sources of profit.

  7. >> new sources of profit.

New users definitely increase cost, not necessarily profit.

  8. Money laundering?
Will they press all my $100 bills?

  9. Netflix just purchased the humongous Albuquerque Studio property. Soundstages and pre and post production. They said they were bringing 1 billion dollars to the New Mexico economy.

  10. Netflix just cancelled Luke Cage too.

  11. @Gee

Yeah, that's what some articles are stating - that the costs of attaining those users overseas is enormous because of the individual regulations of each country.

    @Fred

If you are asking me (you aren't), the comic book shows are played out anyway. So are the movies but Netflix isn't backing those.

  12. Ha. Luke Cage and Iron Fist have prob been cancelled to make "heroes for hire". A new show. They are partners in it.

  13. What happened to Hedge? I used to enjoy Hedge and @sandybrook arguments!
Speaking of...where’s Geeljire? Am I right in thinking that he was probably also Amazing Quotes? Who else is missing....the barstool guy maybe? I often find the commenters here more interesting than the blinds! Lol Trying to work out what people’s angle’s are and why! Truth is I still haven’t got the foggiest! 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️

    1. Lemme tell you, as a decade-long lurker and very infrequent commenter, the "angles" are as obtuse as they are acute.
Many layers, as deep as you choose to dissect this schmutz lasagna.

Truth be told: So many of these commenters are the same people with different handles and different "personalities". Just don't EVER shit-talk the Queen.
      You're welcome!

  15. Himmmm left, Hedge I think still provides info for Musk and business blinds but doesn’t use his name, Mr X is rare, INSIDERHER scarpered with her shrimp salad, Birdie is few and far between, reader blinds have gone into shamed hiding, the only lingering contributor is DB...and we’ve even been given 3 days in a row off from him! Are we a really tough crowd or what? 🤷🏻‍♀️

    1. Why and when did Himmmm leave?
      Bit gutted.

  16. Netflix will have some homegrown comic book shows soon through their purchase of Mark Millar's available catalog (not Wanted, Kickass or Kingsmen). Some are more sci-fi, but Jupiter's Legacy is capes and Huck is sort of an alternate Superman story.

  17. Disney is launching a competing streaming service next year, and Netflix will not have the rights to the Marvel film catalog renewed anyway, because Disney will keep them for their own service.

    An expert should know this...

  18. Netflix is carrying a staggering level of debt -- to the tune of billions. There's no way in hell for them to take on Disney with that much red ink. They've got to dial back their insane levels of spending because the main event is yet to come.

  19. want to find a money laundering media op? Look for the addition of current and former politicians to the board / signing content production deals

  20. @WickedBee Where on earth do people find the time and energy to have multiple alts on a small time gossip blog?! What’s the point? I’ve never understood that, but it really does seem to be the case with some. I find it all kind of fascinating tbh.

  21. I don't believe there's any way Geeljire and Amazing Quotes are the same person and I'm a bit offended on his behalf you would suggest it.

I thought Geeljire had been posting under that new, all caps name - or is that someone else?

And Jesus Christ, Tricia isn't the queen she's been commenting here forever and suddenly y'all started making a big deal out of it. Yes she has many accurate guesses and she is early to the board but she also gets some wrong and is a perfectly nice and normal person.

Anyone with alts is just nuts for Jesus.

  22. Netflix is losing TONS of money every quarter. They've added new subs, but they keep spending WAY MORE money than they take in. Negative 800 billion last quarter. They are spending tons of money on content and borrowing (to pay for it) WAY MORE than they are taking in.

  23. Netflix will be the same as IHeartRadio in 2 or three years. A bankrupt yet functional company. The stockholders and small bondholders will be taking it up the ass!

    ReplyDelete
  24. @hunter Tricia is one of my favourite commenters so I hope that comment wasn’t aimed at me. I think she’s awesome and the person didn’t say who they thought the queen was, so I didn’t immediately assume that it was aimed at Tricia.

Also there was no malice in anything I said. Gee likes to stir things up, so if he was Amazing Quotes then that would be pretty funny! I was just lightheartedly speculating like many people do about who has alts etc. You really didn’t need to get so defensive, even on Gee’s behalf. One thing Gee has is a sense of humour and I believe he would’ve taking my comment in the spirit it was made. In fact he would probably have replied tongue in cheek that he’s also Himmmm, Enty, Dancing Boy and at least three quarters of the commenters too!

I like you @hunter I usually enjoy your comments and agree with much of what you say, but in this case please lighten up :)

  25. All the paid propagandists have disappeared from CDAN, as has "Q" on the Quonspiracy 8chan front. Perhaps a mass "hit" took place in tandem with Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest, Insta and other social media silencing all non-approved information voices.

Everything must be in place for....The Happening. It will be soon.

  26. Hmmm left after he posted a hissy fit about the readers here trying to guess his identity (they weren't, except casually.) He made up some story about a vet threatened by the readers here (uh huh) through his remarkable FBI connections (who don't share details of investigations with anyone but Hmmm, evidently.)

It was epic, and hilarious for a guy who posts BIs, that entice people to guess identities, to then lash out when his own is discussed. It only made the investigations into his own identity more interesting rather than quelling the questions on his demand.

  27. Did Himmmm delete his rant post? I've seen him do that in the past. Or one of the previous versions of him.
