Blind Item #2

This permanent almost A+ list mostly movie actor who all of you know and all of your parents and grandparents know cheated on his wife with a college student who was interning at his production company. It kind of belies that everyone loves him kind of vibe he tries to give off.

  4. Jeepers, do they all have production companies now?

  5. Unfortunately, once again, it could be any of them.

  6. The everyone loves him sounds like Tom Hanks.

  7. @Unknown, Just out of say curiosity, what is the absolute minimum you need to do to qualify as having a production company? ;)

  8. Tom Hanks is A+ though not “almost A+”.

  9. I like Tom Hanks for this, but will throw out Samuel L Jackson

  10. @This and That I'm always confused by Enty's identifiers. How can this person be permanent & everyone even our grandparents knows them but they're only "Almost A+"? While singers/actors no one has heard of are A??? lol

  14. @Ophelia, everyone knew who Don Knotts was but he was not an A+ actor overall, just a solid B who did headline some movies. Also, you can't compare the listings for different fields and have it make sense.

  15. @.robert that makes sense but Enty typically says "B list with A+ name recognition" then (ex: Katie Holmes). If we're using acting as the medium in question right now then KJ Apa is described as A- mostly television frequently here but I would have no clue who he was if I had not watched Riverdale & he has not acted in a great deal of high profile gigs yet, either.

I think we can all agree Enty is a bit erratic with his ratings & at the very least should publish an updated list :)

  16. Ibdon't think this Hanks. 'Tries to give off' seems to mean he holds himself up as though everyone loves him but they don't. Pretty sure Hanks is the real deal. Same with Jeff Bridges. Matt Mc isn't perm. That said, I don't have a guess.

  17. Just to be different, Harrison Ford? Would he have a production company?

I've been told that production companies are given certain tax breaks for losses that individuals are not, and this is why so many actors set up production companies that do nothing other than examine scripts (if that.) Also, most of what is umbrellaed under a production company can be written off - leased cars, office space, "supplies", events, wardrobe...

For instance, the wives of Denzel and Tom Hanks have had a couple successes with their production companies and they can ride that for years worth of professional losses and personal expenses.

That's the overview but I'm not sure about the particulars.

  20. Yeah, Chet Haze is absolute proof of what a terrific guy Tom Hanks must be.

  21. Im going with Matt Damon if he has a production company.

  22. Yep, Damon and Affleck share a production company - Pearl Street Films. They've made some crazy money with it, too.

  23. @Brayson87 Just incorporate a company to have a production company. Fill out relevant state forms (pick out what kind of corporate form it will take like S corporation or LLC, etc), appoint some officers, pay some fees to get registered & you are up & running. You have all kinds of states to choose from.

To be *credible* though, there is more to it, but that gets you started (oversimplified version anyway)

FYI most talent incorporate loan out companies for their personal services to 1) get better tax treatment (you pay corporate tax rates not higher income tax rates) 2) potentially avoid personal liability in the event of a lawsuit that does not go their way (though this does not always work)

  24. That's some ageist shit assuming my grandparents would know anyone before the 1950's.

  25. Not Michael Douglas because he was a hound dog and had to go to sex addiction school. It has to be someone squeaky clean. Like Jeff Bridges or Tom Hanks. Not that I necessarily think either, but someone more “grounded.”

  26. I realize gays want to seem straight, but if the point is to really sneak around, most likely it will be someone of their own sex, and don't we have enough info on some of the people listed above to believe they are GAY? If it were same sex, it would be noted.

  28. Does Ed Harris have a production company? He's certainly well-known, but not Enty's A+ movie star status.

This is his M.O. I remember gossip years ago about him teaching acting workshops at college solely to impress and bag co-eds.

  29. Now fake Brad PItt and Paul Saint John don't make us list all the perverts in the Republican party, esp the ones that claim to be religious and all about family values more like Bryan Singer family values.

The Republicans even have a rule named after a convicted Pedophile can you say the Hastert rule??? Of course they have no shame now or they would have changed the name after he was convicted. Their a** licking of Trump has revealed the true level of their lack of morals.

  30. If only there was a photo of Donny partying with Jeffrey Epstein, another convicted pedophile on his Fantasy Pedo Island but yeah the list of party goer at Epstein's private island parties is a who's who of powerful man on both sides. Donny was a Dem until he wasn't. He was good friends with the Clintons until he wasn't. The con man goes with the path with the easiest suckers.

Just because Hillary Clinton is a witch doesn't mean Republicans are saints.
