This still very young foreign born A- list mostly television actress from a very hit pay cable show is having trouble getting new jobs. To get her most recent job, she actually had to hit the casting couch.
Not to be cruel, but Maisie Williams was barely cute as a child actress and has not aged into anything beyond that, to put it generously. She's also a very limited actress and I suspect on the stage she is in it over her head. Her Hollywood career will fade rapidly after GoT ends, so I hope she is planning accordingly.
The blind is deliberately vague with "jobs" and "job," could mean a theater role. Kind of sad though, you'd hope any well known GoT people wouldn't have to start slinging it so soon.
Just came back on CDAN after a few hours, so I don't know if everyone knows Takashi69 just got probation and will not serve time for the sex thing. That pretty much puts to rest the theory that Hispanic men in NY are thrown to the Wolves when they're arrested for anything.
UPDATE: After he was sentenced to probation & community service by the judge. Tekashi (My name is Daniel) went to the Eastside to a super posh eatery to meet someone. His bodyguards were at the front door to keep people out. A group of guys arrived & insisted on coming in. Bodyguard said, no way. They shot him in his stomach & he was rushed to a hospital. A Police Officer was nearby, saw the confusion, heard the shots, fired at the gunman and possibly wounded him. But he got away. Like I said above, there's a bullet with his name on it. Only a matter of time before TMZ is posting the Obit.
Sd Auntie: I think I mentioned it was the Bodyguard who got shot. 'He must have a good lawyer' is EXACTLY what I thought the minute I saw the verdict! Great minds think alike! This kid will be paying those attorneys off for the rest of his life. Those puppies don't come cheap!! I say, rest of his life, so they betta get that moolah like right away! I can hear one of them sayin' right now, "The Bitch betta have my money!" Sad thing is, he is a very cute young man. Erase all those face tats and clean him up, he would be very handsome. Too late, right? His poor mom! I think about her a lot. So sad. She's probably very proud of him.
Unfortunately, he is the most popular rapper right now. I think he is rolling in dough and can easily pay. Times are really changing and its very scary.
It’ll be really sad if it is Maisie. Her play isn’t even in the West End, it’s in a tiny North London theatre. Doesn’t really seem like a couch-worthy job.
ENTY: I really dislike these 'couch casting' blinds for so many reasons. This is what the me too movement started over. Eradicating this torture that men make certain young/old actors endure to work in their chosen field. Can we do away with them, please? This was the reason I took my incredibly talented daughter out of the business so many years ago. Even though she was only 10, I could read between the lines and didn't like what I was reading. Don't blame only the men. There were a couple of women who salivated every time she walked in the door. Sure that still happens today. Can we not have any more casting couch blinds? Many thanks. Your Biggest Fan!
@Boo And the thing is that the BI is ALWAYS targeted at the person who accepts to take part in that, never the instigator and perpetrator. That's a common theme for gossip pieces. People who write them know that the target audience mostly consists of women concerned about badmouthing other women.
Sd Auntie: Scary in a new way. 1968 Was THE scariest year of my life. Dr. King and Bobby assassinated. Watts burning down. Widespread fires the day Martin was killed in many cities. Students taking over universities. I remember the abject fear my friends & I felt that April 4th afternoon in Atlanta when we heard Martin had been killed. In two hours, Atlanta was a ghost town with almost all the stores and gas stations closed. Peachtree Street was empty of cars and buses. Businesses let their employees out the minute they got the word so they could get home before the expected riots began. H. Rap Brown was waving a pistol in the air calling for the white man's death. I was sitting on my living room floor crying hysterically into the phone to my best friend (African-American) who was incoherent herself. She couldn't come to my apt. and I could not come to her home out of fear we might not make it home. THAT was the scariest time. As I mentioned, this is a new scary. None of us are safe now.
My family watched the democratic convention riots in Chicago (1968)? on TV. Yes, from the relatively security of our suburban home - but easily accessible via the 'El' (being in Cook County).
My sister attended a Sly and the Family Stone concert in Chicago in the late 60's/early 70's. The concert started late and the attendees started to riot. I was so worried for her. It is strange to watch/hear of horrors so close to you (7/8 miles) but feel safe at home.
Hey Boo thanks for all the extra stories lately and the update on Tekashi (call me Daniel) - you brought us a bodyguard shooting and made it dramatic! You da bomb.
The two women who were found duct-taped in Manhattan were sisters from Virginia who had been reported missing. One 22, the other only 16. The NYPD said they landed in the water having jumped or having been pushed off the George Washington Bridge. They came to shore at 68th St. George Washington Bridge is on 180th St. The story gets sadder and sadder. Was it murder or suicide?
I've worked at the Hampstead Theatre (within the past year) and know the director of Maisie's play extremely well. If she did use a casting couch somewhere it certainly was not there.
I've seen so many lies on this site about people I personally know.
And there's no way anyone's hitting the casting couch for a play in a tiny suburban fringe theatre. From what I hear they had to seriously negotiate and beg to land her. And she took the role to build credibility as a serious actress.
Not Arya Stark? Maisie Williams is much better than that!
ReplyDeleteSophie Turner?
ReplyDeleteMaisie?
ReplyDeletePlease not MBB but it seems she's heading that way.
ReplyDeleteMaisie was my first thought. MBB was in the King Kong movie a bit back so that counts as another role
ReplyDeleteNo person should have to "hit the casting couch". Disgusting.
ReplyDeleteSophie has Dark Phoenix. Maisie is in a new play. It’s really bad if you have to couch for a role in a play.
ReplyDeleteMillie Bobbie Brown is Netflix, so "almost television" here, not pay cable.
ReplyDeletemaisie
ReplyDelete@Ophelia, you mean MBB will be in Godzilla king of monsters coming in 2019! She was never in King Kong movie!
ReplyDeleteSteeze, based on what's provided here, this person didn't have to hit the casting couch. She chose to.
ReplyDeleteMaisie too bad...
ReplyDeleteMaisie is 21. Does that count as "very young" these days?
ReplyDeleteShe looks so much younger
Deletewhat about Emma Kenney?
ReplyDeletelol whoops, @yepthatsme mixing up my giant monster reboots!
ReplyDeletenvm she was born in nyc lol
ReplyDeletei thought the crown actress and the role First Man
ReplyDeleteIf it is Maisie wouldnt be surprised
One of the slores from Game of Thrones.
ReplyDeleteSad if it's Maisie.
ReplyDeleteActually I thought Maisie wasn't focusing on acting any longer but had a startup to help struggling artists?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they have enough money to live comfortably after 7 seasons of a hit show unless they're excessive with their spending.
It's Maisie Williams. She hit a theater couch. Yes, it's the thing.
ReplyDeletemaisie with her new play

ReplyDeleteIt would have been underage female if it was MBB.
ReplyDeletesounds like Maisie Williams
ReplyDeleteThis is someone who is a young adult. MBB is way underage, and her show is not cable!
ReplyDeleteKiernan Shipka?

ReplyDeleteAnd his bodyguard got shot @Boo. He must have a good lawyer.
DeleteHow do you know that, J? You wasn't there. You don't know her. You don't even know if this blind is true..

This was actually a huge problem when the site was publishing stuff about Weinstein. Most of the time, the BIs didn't dwell a lot on Weinstein. They just depicted him as some present day mogul who would still take his casting couch quite seriously but nothing more. Emphasis was on blaming the actresses, the Gwyneths, the Jennifers, the Gretchens, the whores who all supposedly took "advantage" from the casting couch with Weinstein to get their Oscar-winning part. The "sources" never alluded to the rapes, the assaults and the ambushes that were quite the norm for him, according to the exposés published last year by the NY Times and the New Yorker.
Some people are really judgmental and say so n so isn’t good looking. Maudie Williams is very unusual looking.

I doubt duct tape would figure in a double suicide.
