The owner of the Chinese buffet came over to our table and asked, "How you rike the meal?" I said, "To be honest, the chicken is very rubbery." The owner says, "Ooh, thank you! Your date very rubbery too!"
Identifying the source is key, dehydration, hunger, sleep deprivation etc, try fulfilling those needs. Otherwise medicate, to hell with that other hippy sh!t.
Low Key It helps me, but it might not be for everyone. I know some people who get bad headaches from it, but I don’t know if they’re mixing it with tobacco (which is AWFUL). I’d like to get enough to try the rice in a sock thing - make a soft “pillow” that I can use on my face or lay it flat under my pillowcase and sleep on it just to see if that could work rather than having a few puffs before bed. And also find out if I wake up more refreshed.
EMDR it! (Eye Movement De-Sensitization and Reprocessing): Rate your headache, 1-10. Ten means you are in the ER to get treatment, 1 means no pain. Squish the sides of your head (or that of another if they have a headache), then the front and back, sides, front and back. Then, make your eyes move in a figure eight or two side-by-side circles. This is easier if someone is moving their hand and you just follow their hand making the figure eight signs or the side-by-side circles, without moving your head. Then do the head squishes again, and the figure eights again. Rate your headache again. Keep doing this process until you either get rid of it or get it down to a point you can deal with it.
I never shout whilst wanking, Candy. It might startle Mr Meat out of his nap. It's not easy to explain why I'm rubbing myself furiously after complaining about having A Headache.
Depends on what type of headache it is. If it's tension or neck, ibuprofen, heat, pain rub (I favor Tiger Balm Extra Strength because it stays put and doesn't reek as bad as other remedies). If it's sinus, original Sudafed (available behind the pharmacy counter but without a prescription), more ibuprofen and heat directly on the face. If it's hangover or indeterminate, water, coffee, a good meal, and more ibuprofen, follow-up with vicodin and a nap if it's not a hangover. Always visit your doctor if a headache lasts over 24 hours in spite of these home remedies. Bonus tip: an easy way to apply heat to any part of the body is to fill an old (clean) sock with dry white rice, microwave for 1 - 2 minutes, wrap it in a towel, and apply to the affected area. Be careful not to burn yourself with your rice sock! This is especially effective for sinus because the rice will mold itself to fit your face.
Glad you asked! I followed the guidelines in this book by zuzana bic. In a nutshell exercise, diet and proper rest. It didn't eliminate all my migraines but it lessened the number of headaches, duration and intensity.
I’ve had headaches my entire life, Migraine/Tension (I have the “typical” Migraine symptoms”, rarely). I have been to 3 Neurologists & had CAT Scans & a MRI.....Here are some of my home remedies:
