ReplyDeleteNp. 15 mil+ follows on insta and some charting/popular songs. I'm not a fan of hers, but I have to say some of her songs are catchy even if you listen ironically.
DeleteShe's portrayed older than she is, but is 15 and was 13 when Dr.phil showed her to the world. She's still a kid, so hopefully she grows up, I blame the parents more than the child.

Delete@Hamid.....she really didn't, she had R. Kelly (who she was sleeping with and married to at like 14 or 15) write and produce her first record. And the rest of her hits were written by Tim Mosely, she was 100% studio artist with a very weak and limited vocal range, she just happened to work with/sleep with the best in the biz. She was also able to form a persona and image the public adored.I liked some of her stuff, not hating just stating.

I mean,, if she was 18, it would be /forgivable/ given she's over the age of consent... but 15?! Jesus. Next thing you know, she winds up pregnant!

ReplyDeleteBUT there is such a thing as a Lolita. And these girls go against their parents, and know exactly what they are doing. They are not victims. Of course the guy involved are still predators, but let's not dismiss how precocious some young girls are.
When I was in HS there was a 15 year old girl who had a 33-year old boyfriend! Everyone knew, she loved the attention she got from it, told everyone, her mother was devastated (divorced parents) but could not control her. This girl was very much in that sick relationship, and proud of it. She knew what she was doing, and she made sure everyone else did too. And this wasn't hollyweird or celebrity town.
I've seen that too happen. Some premature young girls want a guy with a house, a car, and cash, not a nerdish, broke and acne-ridden boyfriend. It makes a lot of sense, when you think of it.
