Blind Item #8 - Dancing Boy Blind Item
Not anything but a head's up (in case you missed it), but since he's very probably going to be a dancing boy (in the saga I mean) there's is a revelation about a certain former child actor on a videotaped podcast based on comics. (Not that I didn't think it already or anything...)
Isaac Kappy?
ReplyDelete"there's is", did Enty & DB receive the same English education?
ReplyDeleteI doubt it more and more.
DeleteIt's often suspected that CDAN is actually a fourth grade class project taught year after year in Boise, ID.
ReplyDelete+1
DeleteIf it's Isaac Kappy, then it just proves what a nut DB is...

Notice how "Not anything" is used instead of "Nothing"
ReplyDelete"very probably" instead of "most likely"
ReplyDeleteOmlette again for lunch I think.
ReplyDeleteWhere is sandy?
@Brayson I would attribute the weird wording to prescriptive language by a bot to avoid recognition by writing style as someone suggested before.
ReplyDeleteBut bots don't make grammar mistakes so instead he needs to watch the Friends episode where Joey uses a Thesaurus lol
On a trip to London. Gonna eat a lot this week.
ReplyDelete@Ophelia, Perhaps, but I like the Mrs. Bolsworth's Class theory better ;)
ReplyDeleteI miss the shrimp girl !
ReplyDeleteHere I am Jimbonius, just got home from lunch had a skillet of pulled pork and green Chile Mac and cheese.(I told Ophelia he other day not to wake up the DBs).
ReplyDeleteapologies for poking the lorax, @Sandybrook! I didn't know where else to go for some new recipes :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. your lunches always sound amazing
So, what is the revelation then?
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to Birdie??
ReplyDeleteI've got a lot of good restaurants around my place to eat at Ophelia. I try not to eat at chains so the local places serve really good, usually big, meals.
ReplyDeleteBut some of Kappys statements must be true right said the idiot's next door. Lots of gullible people out there.
ReplyDeleteSandybrook: Sounds like you have some yummy Mexi spots near you. Jelly.
ReplyDeleteAnyone see Boo Hearne around? I don’t remember seeing her post since she mentioned being back in the hospital. The craziest thing happened, I stumbled upon a non-fiction book that references her. From back in the day. Fascinating stuff. I then connected her to several other books and newspaper articles. Some of you would be really surprised.I would love to be able to communicate with her, if she is willing. She has truly lived a remarkable and interesting life.
@donna. Boo was here last week talking about Les Monvess and how he did not promote women. Yes her stories are interesting.
DeleteYeah Donna I have 2 Mexican nearby, but where I ate today was Alabama-style BBQ.
ReplyDeleteBoo pops in every once in a while when she is in NY. Normally now she says she is in an internet-free area of New Mexico
@Brayson - you're funny. :)
ReplyDelete@Sandybrook You really do live in the center of the universe! Mexi and Alabama BBQ? I suppose you have Nashville Hot chicken in your neighborhood too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for Boo 411. I’ll try sending her some vibes through the Taos Hum.
I'd love a place besides Publix with decent fried chicken here. We don't have any.😥
ReplyDelete@Donna, please tell me what books. I would love to know. I love Boo's stories.
ReplyDeleteThey should just retitle the Dancing Boy Blinds "open chat" : )
ReplyDeleteMacaughly Culkin
ReplyDelete@Cuddle I am not being coy or hyperbolic by saying that this stuff is so “high-up” I won’t say, especially since I have never “heard” her mention any of these people before. It would be interesting for her to share some of these stories here sometime. Maybe as reader blinds?
ReplyDeleteMostly I wish her good health and a long life 💕
Going back to the actual blind 🙂
ReplyDeleteHe's probably talking about Brice Beckham. He's been mentioned several times, including the "Naughty Dancing Boy" blind. He is a frequent podcast guest too.
Wil Wheaton, yeah? His entire life is board games, comics and podcasts.
ReplyDeleteWil Wheaton is an excellent guess too.
Delete@Donna Some commentators were very rude to Boo last time she was here, especially considering her age and current state of health. Boo got very upset and did seem somewhat out of character, but that could’ve easily been attributed to the meds she was receiving in hospital. I’d be very surprised to see her back here, but I do keep my fingers crossed that she will return. One of the last true characters left on CDAN, she was happy to share some fascinating insight into her very interesting life experiences. I hope she hasn’t been driven away too by contributors whose one pleasure in life seems to be being cruel and spiteful to others.
ReplyDelete@Donna, was she mentioned as "Boo Hearne?"
ReplyDeleteI dont get the Isaac Kappy connection. This would be my translation of this giberish blind:
ReplyDelete["This is nothing more than a heads up. This person is likely to be a dancing boy (in my movie). There is a revelation about a certain child actor on a videotaped podcast. The podcast is based on comics."]
Unrelated to this blind, but does anyone else remember when comedian Bryan Callen opened up about his sexual abuse as a child on the Joe Rogan podcast? He also spoke of it briefly on another podcast (the name escapes me)
DeleteI found the reactions to be a bit bizarre in both instances. Explained a lot about him.
Isaac Kappy was on Nerd Machine podcast in 2015. The only thing he says is he burped in Director McG's face and blocked out memories of middle school.
ReplyDelete" blocked out memories of middle school."
ReplyDeleteHaven't we all?
People can lie ofc, but he has said publicly that he was never sexually abused as a child. Thanks for the info Josh, his comments dont really seem like there's much there to look into.
ReplyDeleteCulkin on Smodcast...
