Blind Item #6

I think anyone who runs into this late night actor/comedian is pretty surprised to seem him able to be upright or even move because of how bad off he is right now. I can't imagine how much he is spending each day on drugs.

  1. how does he even afford all the drugs??? ariana paying for them???

  2. Lets be real. Thus is not a comedian and I would bet my life some deal was made to catapult this marginal talent at best, into the spotlight. Possibly via some powerful entity. Hope he continues his drug use and adds harder substances.

  3. That's your opinion spider Rico. I think he is pretty damn funny and enjoy watching him on SNL. The one I never got was Steve Martin.

  4. Auntie- have you ever seen Bowfinger? The Jerk was overrated, but he is hilarious in Bowfinger & a few other movies. Seems like such a nice guy.

SNL has not been consistently funny since the Eddie Murphy years.

  5. His employer needs to do a one on one if he is that strung out.Dual diagnosis are resistant to treatment.its nobody's fault except his .

  6. The thing with the Pete Davidson blinds here is that they practically write themselves at this point. We just need a good OD story now, or how his drug intake shocked the cast from both Stranger Things and Riverdale.

Meanwhile, in real life, SNL premieres at the end of the month, and Davidson is still officially a cast member.

  7. I thought he would have to be drug tested in order to keep his job, and they showed him in commercials for the new season of SNL, so is he doing RX drugs he has a script for or just a lot of pot? I don't think Loren Michaels would allow him on this season if he was so drugged out!

    1. Exactly @ Alistdiva. He would be a danger if he went on set like that and not able to do his job. I'll have to check out that video of him talking to himself.

  8. I saw a video of him talking to himself and then screaming at the paps yesterday, and yes, he looks AWFUL

  9. off topic: but the biebs is in the DM today with a video of him twitching and tweaked out so I'm expecting to see that BI

  10. Steve Martin made a trip of incredible films, two of which were sadly overlooked -

    1) Trains, Planes and Automobiles
    2) My Blue Heaven
    3) Pennies From Heaven - perhaps his single greatest piece of acting.

Is dating Ariana Grande becoming the kiss of death? If that helps speed along her boatride to irrelevancy, bring it on.

  11. That Justin Bieber video is hard to watch he is tweaking so hard! This will not end well.

  12. I think his monologues on SNL are great, but that's all he's got. If he was a decent writer, they could keep him on as a writer and trot him out like A. Whitney Brown or Father Guido for a news bit once in a while.
But keeping him as a performer when he just does that one thing is ridiculous. Yeah, I know he appears in skits occasionally, but his range is limited and he doesn't really do anything that nobody else can do.

  13. The story Pete tells about his dad dying on 9/11 happened a little differently that he claims. The dad received a vision about what a lowlife loser POS his son would grow up to me and ran into the collapsing building out of shame.

See, I always loved Steve Martin in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Ruprecht was absolute gold. OKLAHOMA OKLAHOMA OKLAHOMA!!!

That said, I like Pete on SNL. The Narnia skit with him just saying "okay" to everything is still one of my favorites. I think he is definitely talented but he absolutely struggles with his demons. Not everyone recovers from losing a parent and its obvious that he uses drugs as an escape. I dont think he is coping with fame very well. :(

  15. Have we ever considered the possibility that it isn't the drugs? That a Mirror Universe Ariana is simply sucking the life out of him?

  16. Wishing death on someone you don't even know or cracking jokes about their Dad dying on 9/11 is pretty disgusting, to be honest.

  17. I saw a picture of Pete & Ariana last night & he looked horrible. I’d imagine having his fiancé’s ex die followed so swiftly by the anniversary of 9/11 would be quite challenging. That being said, just because he’s scheduled to be on SNL doesn’t mean he will be. He was already warned about his drug use & he is certainly not irreplaceable.

  18. SNL casts for years have done copious amounts of cocaine on the set and in rehearsals so I can guarantee you there is absolutely no drug testing for cast members. That's the most naive thing I've ever read in my life.

I believe Lorne Michaels is keeping Pete Davidson loosely in pocket. They can see themselves exactly what is going on and sometimes people don't want to kick a man while he's down. Nobody can deny he's going through the shit right now and unless he's a total asshole there is no reason to fire him.

Having issues and being an asshole are not the same.

  19. SNL can fucking afford another comedian addict for Christsakes - he's not a bad person!! He's just going through a period of terrible judgement. I'm sure he's entirely charming and lovable.

  20. Bow finger is hilarious

Ha! No. Just an example of a writer who would show up onscreen occasionally.

  22. I don't know any SNL people anymore so I never heard of him. But if he's this bad off he'll become another Belushi or Farley for sure.

  23. His meager talent is propped up because of his usefulness to the continuing 9-11 false propaganda narrative.

  24. Urbanrosebud -- unfortunately Steve Martin is NOT that nice. I used to work at a major auction house and he was there quite a bit to buy art. Very cold and kind of rude. I just ADORED him and was bummed out. And it's not like people were bothering him. Famous people at the auction house all the time so nobody acts like some crazed fan.
