With new allegations about to hit in the next month, this pay cable channel is trying to rush through a season of a decently hit show before the A- list actor from an acting family is grounded for good.
How do they rush through the season? It comes on every Sunday night. Are they just going to marathon it or something? I don’t get it. And will he be grounded? Seems to me things have gone back to normal. Aka nobody believes the women and claim they just want fame or money while the celeb man gets away with it.
The debauched satanist Franco must have his many crimes brought before the public so he is disgraced and driven from the industry. No disciples of Kenneth Anger should have such a place of influence in society!
@Mahogany1 That is not true. Season 1 and Season 2 both premiered the first Sunday after Labor Day. What you may be thinking of is that the series premiere was available a couple of weeks early On Demand, but the seasons are airing the same time period.
I love the show and I think Franco is a very talented artist . I haven’t heard any new allegations “come to light” he seems to be doing good and everyone knows that Violet paley is completely loony toons
Maggie G's performance is so good that in The Deuce that it's worth watching the rest of the mostly bad acting in the show. I usually don't like her, but then again I don't like anyone really. Franco peaked with Freaks and Geeks
David Simon said before the show ever started that it was planned for three seasons, each covering a specific time period. We're only two episodes into Season 2, which runs for seven more episodes. They greenlit the final Season 3 which is still to be produced and aired next year. They aren't rushing anything.
I only watch The Deuce for the women's stories. They could kill off Franco's smarmy twin characters, and nobody really care. 1/2 the story or more is based on the prostitutes and porn stars.

ReplyDeleteHow is that a sacred show that Franco will tarnish?
Apparently rushing through the season means releasing 1 episode every Sunday as usual and renewing the show for a 3rd season

ReplyDelete@B626 it isn't about the show. It is about the network looking insensitive. they have to distance themselves.

ReplyDeleteI pray to GOD! Please take the mogul down too, it's not too much to ask? 🤔💗

ReplyDeleteMaybe they are rushing to get the rest filmed, with no hiatus. That's how I read it. If there are contracts to honor, they can't outright cancel.
ReplyDeleteBoy, I hope it's true that he's finally going down. He's such a disgusting sleaze.
