Blind Item #12

The only way the design line works for this former reality star is by hooking up with as many financial backers as she can. She talks a lot about the company but it operates at a loss and she lives off the generosity of others while pretending to be a millionaire.

  1. I’d be sad if this was Nicole Richie..

  2. Could Lauren Conrad sink to this desperate level? I thought she does well though.

    1. I hate every opinion you have 364 days a year but I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t the first person that came to my mind.

    1. I remember there was a reveal about RZ living off of donations/gifts.

  4. I don't think it's LC. She did pass on the Hills reunion reboot. She can't be desperate.

  5. LC would’ve jumped on the Hills reunion show if she was struggling for money imo but maybe thinks this cash flow is good enough

  6. So sexist, it would be nice if male small business owners could just bang a bunch of unattractive women to get ahead.

  8. I think if it were Jessica Simpson, it would of mentioned something about singing too. How about Nene L

  9. Has to be Ramona Singer and her TV line.

  10. Jessica, LC, and Chung all have fairly decent fashion lines that I see in a lot of stores and a lot of people wearing their products. Who has a really ugly one that's not Marchesa?

  11. Nene,Ramona, and Frankel aren’t former reality stars. They all are expected to come back to their shows.

  12. Zoe and Kimora seem like good ones (considering Russell Simmons reveal before that he's selling shit off to pay everybody's bills.) And Rachel because she's Rachel but who needs to screw that scrawny mutt.

  13. If LC was that desperate for cash, she would have done the Hills reunion. Is this Rachel Zoe. Didn't she have some fashion show just a week or two ago?

  14. Lauren Conrad has a line at Kohl's. If it wasn't making money, they'd drop her. So nobody at a dept store.

  15. @Brayson87, give it a try, it just might work. Lots of desperate cougars out there spending their ex-husbands' money these days.

  16. Rachel Zoe's clothing line is too expensive.

  17. How empowered.

  18. @Damelon, You'd need a vasectomy though. Otherwise one condom break and you could be the one paying them for 18 years. It's not like they wouldn't know where to find you. ;)

  23. Draya? But she’s best buds with the Kardashians and they wear her products. I don’t think it’s her.

  24. Sonja isn't former unless there was some news I missed.

  25. I don't know who this is, but it's got to be someone good looking, so that leaves out a few guesses.

Now, just because a fashion line sells in a few stores, or even some online retailers, it does not mean, it is financially successful. At all. The fashion business is one of the hardest businesses to actually make big money in. You have to re-invest your profits twice a year in design, marketing, production, advertising, shows, those are huge expenses, that's why we see brands going from popular for a few years, to disappearing altogether, never to be heard of again.

  26. Farrah Abraham from teen Mom og. Most of her businesses have failed. And she's in allot of debt.

  27. @Depeche

That's why these celebrity designers partner with department stores who pay for the marketing for a bigger cut. And no fashion shows for the likes of Jessica Simpson unless it's a show for charity in a mall in Dallas.

Where the Kards sell heir fashion, who knows. The last time I saw their product at Sears (or Belk?) it was mostly empty hangers with no sales person and a cheap, stained, Kardashian marquee.
