Blind Item #11

If you read this space prior to this show airing, you know why it was given a greenlight. That show is not going anywhere (no matter what people say or its crap reviews and ratings) as long as that married former A- list mostly television actress from multiple hit shows back in the day keeps sleeping with the guy she is sleeping with who says yes or no to shows.

  2. I guess it's the right answer but ratings don't matter on Netflix I think Entern.

  3. Insatiable did just get renewed for season 2 but the way this is written sounds like a show that got greenlighted for the pilot to air

well a pilot wont have crap reviews and rating so it has to be something renewed.

but insatiable is pretty 50/50. people love it or hate it.

  6. I read read as read instead of read lol the English language has struck again. I thought the previous blind about Insatiable was that one of the financial backers liked Debbie?

  7. I wouldnt have minded insatiable if the first 2-3 episodes werent full of children trying to bang (in comparison) an old man.

I know its supposed to be comedy, but it was just forced and weird.

  9. Insatiable is terrific.

  10. Tbh those who claim to hate the show have NEVER watched it! They only go off of what they read online by people over analyzing the show and trying to be PC or by the trailer. The show is extremely funny and relatable

I watched the first couple episodes and once the child tried sleeping with the old guy, I was out.

    1. She didn't sleep with him. She set him on fire while he was in bed drunk, and when that didn't kill him she confronted him at the hospital and provoked a heart attack, which did. Sound more to your liking now? (And no, I'm not satirizing your PCness, but the show is.)

  12. More pedo-normalizing. If you support the show, you are part of the problem.

    1. @DuhDonna...you seriously need to get laid. Lighten up. Everything you say is soooo Debbie Downer. I just wanna send you hugs. (Platonic hugs, not rapey hugs)

  13. The pilot was actually originally was presented to the CW, they passed.

  14. Milano seems like she would sell her own child for a bit part.

  15. Eh, dick has put more shows on the air than talent, no surprise there. But I thought according to the last Insatiable blind that more than one exec was plowing the cast members.

I'll try to give it a watch sometime, sounds like the new Netflix norm of pseudo-pedo-porn.

  16. omfg you can like a show without being "part of the problem" get over yourself. The show isn't even about that, the main guy is gay and wants nothing to do with the teen girls, jesus. You don't watch shows like American Horror Story and want to suddenly, murder people, do you?

    1. Gay or straight it doesnt even matter. Them trying to bang him constantly says more about the writers (to me) than the viewers. It just wasn't funny and (to me) went too far, in the sense that it was totally unnecessary.

It's normal for kids to have crushes on older people, but the depiction of them chasing after him that way just felt "too much".

Had it been in just one episode maybe I could have looked past it, but it happened too often for me to get into the show. It kept taking me out.

  17. That being said, the show was a lot darker than I thought it was going to be lol

"omfg you can like a show without being "part of the problem" get over yourself."

Don't tell that to our local Great Pedo Hunters of 2018.

  19. "Get over yourself." This isn't about me at all. It's about society, and the normalization of sexualized children.

Nobody's suggesting watching that disgusting show is going to turn you into a pedophile. What it does do is normalize the behavior to society as a whole for future generations to gradually shrug at the thought of adults having sex with children.

Evil has both short-term and long-term goals to break down the empathy of humanity and the familial bond.

I would challenge you to think in a way that does not hyper-personalize every viewpoint, going forward.

    1. @duhDonna... Every comment you make is about Rape or Pedophilia even when the subject is so far from those subjects...then you call people names who don't praise your ridiculous viewpoint. How are YOU not personalizing everything?

You are one of those damaged people who see rape EVERYWHERE. Seriously...all joking aside...you need some professional help and/or medication. Your mindset is neither normal nor healthy.

    3. I agree Donna. I think it does add to the attempt to normalize pedophilia.

It's one thing to depict a kid with a crush, its another thing to depict (what are supposed to be children) trying to lose their virginity to a man old enough to be their father.

    4. AJ Benza is fun to listen to once in a while but you've got to give the nonstop pedo talk a rest. Especially when you're not even talking about nonfiction Hollywood but a goddamn fictional satire.

  20. Though if you're one of Plot-TWISTED's subplots, this is a futile endeavor, LOL.

  21. Yes DDonna is right. Trying to justify having sex with teens is rampant in Hwood.

  22. Alyssa M is cheating on her agent hubby?!

  23. if you read Milano's tweets, it shows that she is seriously divorced from reality.

  24. Normalizing paedophilia? That would be something like the old video of Trump hugging a ten year old girl and then saying "Can you believe it? I'll be dating her in ten years".

    ReplyDelete
  25. +1 @Unknown, @Wendy and @Plot

I have watched it every episode.

Though I can understand why some people would not like the show, interpreting a messed-up girl's sudden attention from a man and subsequent "attraction" to him as a sexual relationship between an adult and a child was too big a leap for me.

  26. Tricia, you're awesome, but if Allyson Hannigan, who is pretty good, slept for parts, she wouldn't be hosting Penn and Teller's Fool Us.

  27. Insatiable is good.. idk what’s going on behind the scenes but it’s funny and watchable.. those of you saying the girl tries to have sex with the old guy- well she does but he wants nothing to do with it- so there isn’t anything about pedophiles you whacks . Calm down with the rape talk and trying to make everything political. It’s exhausting

  28. Alyssa Milano has the IQ of a fruit fly and had completely lost her looks. She's so matronly and homely and middle-aged looking.

I abhor her on Project Runway All Stars. Who thought she'd be fit for that job? Always looking hideous.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Errr Hamid, a man wanting ot date a 20 year old, is not pedophilia, clearly. It might be unsavoury, if he's older, and that comment wasn't funny, nor appropriate, but it wasn't a pedo-moment.

    ReplyDelete
  30. And all I can think is Blame It On Rio...

  31. @DDonna

Who is "normalizing" pedophilia more than yourself, darling?

Who turns turns every board into a stage for the Great Pedo Hunters of 2018?

Who accuses anyone who disagrees with them of being pedophiles?

Who screams Stephan Spielberg is a Pedo!!! louder than you Great Pedo Hunters, based on the deranged ramblings of a clearly mentally disordered fellow?

Oh yes, that would be YOU who constantly spreads the QAnon fantasies of pedophiles constantly underfoot, every one of them with a personal connection to Hilary.

So don't go accusing others of normalizing pedophilia.

  32. I watched the pilot of Insatiable and thought it was horrifically bad. There isn't one clever thing about it. I'm glad to hear sex is involved because the sex has got to be better than the writing. It's the kind of script aspiring writers want to burn because they can't believe something this bad got the green light. Please, if you like this show, why? What in the world do you see in it that appeals to you?

  33. I loved that show _ binged it~ not everybody's cup of tea being black comedy but really clever
