Your Turn

With the new Terminator poster out, it made me want to know what your favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger movie is.

  1. Terminator 3 because the whole franchise is revealed to be nothing but John Connor's ketamine induced delusions on the floor of a veterinarian's office.

  7. I have to say Batman & Robin because it's so ridiculous it's entertaining and I had a huge crush on Chris O'Donnell

  8. Gotta go with Predator, the manliest movie ever made. Just bringing a Predator DVD within 20 feet of Paul Feig will make him break out in hives and start planning another Ghostbusters reboot. It even still holds up, in all its 80s gloriousness.

  9. Apparently Arnold had an unbilled role in Robert Altman's "The Long Goodbye". I'm not sure I remember him, but it was a really good movie, so that's my answer.

  10. Terminator 2 is probably the quintessential Arnold Schwarzenegger movie. It's his signature role, it's got the best director, the effects were groundbreaking and still hold up, the action sequences, especially the motorcycle chase in the aqueducts, are great.

"True Lies" also very good, one of his better performances. "Predator" and "Commando" both hugely entertaining. I remember seeing "The Running Man" at a media screening and laughing my head off.

Only one of his movies I've seen all the way through since he was Governator is "The Last Stand," which was a decent B-movie in the "Assault on Precinct 13" style. Couldn't make it through that last Terminator movie and think the new one is a bad idea.

  13. Not my favorite but Last Action Hero gets a lot of hate that it does not deserve, me and my friends watched that together and laughed and had a great time back when it was new.

Trues Lies is also up there.
    and T2.

It's amazing to go down the list and look at ALL the movies Schwarzenegger has been in, how influential they are and the themes present in each.

As you will see in the coming days, months, years, if you do seem to catch up at all that these themes prevalent in these movies not only CONDITION you for who you are your entire lives, but through that vehicle of having become wholly a creation of their own you are also a CONDUIT for their MAGICK.

    The several repeating themes:

    1.Time control, manipulation

    2.Aliens; Annunaki, the Greek "Gods"

    3.Mind control (Total Recall)

Arnold is and will be still a big part of that in the future, and of course, even in death. He is one freaky motherfucker. The book is not yet closed on him and I'll bet there is a closet FULL of the enigma the is Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Ooooh, does anyone remember End of Days... that motherfucker. I see you demon bastards everywhere now.
