Four For Friday - His First Victim

He was one of the biggest celebrities on the planet (PR). He had created something the entire world was discussing. He was young and at the top of his game. If you think about it, and what happened in the next few years with girls and teens who looked remarkably similar, you see the pattern developing. They ran into each other at a party. The kind of party where PR was probably too old for but this B+ list actress fit right in. We will call her (VS). VS knew exactly who PR was and he promised her a role in his new movie if she wanted to hang out. So, they did. He forced her into all kinds of degrading sex acts and to make her want to do them found a doctor who prescribed a whole bunch of pills for her to take. PR also got her a very special medicine from a friend in the Amazon who he had met while scouting a film that would make him even more famous.

That special medicine is what ultimately would kill VS. They were supposed to meet one night but PR had already found someone he liked more and who was younger. He didn't want VS talking about him, so he told her to meet him late one night after she hung out with friends. He told her to take some of the special medicine an hour before they were to meet. She did and ended up dead.

A decade later a family member of VS found out about PR and confronted PR about the death of VS. PR agreed to meet the family member. Two hours after their meeting, the family member was dead.

@Krab - I thought about Peaches too but she's not an actress really. I did think maybe Michael Bay as he was famous for Armageddon and Pearl Harbor (starts with P, ends with R?) and he did produce TMNT 2 which was filmed or partially filmed in Brazil and released in 2016. But who else from Peaches' family has been killed off since 2014?

  31. Also, the suspect went to the Amazon to scout, that doesn't mean the film was filmed there. He could have ultimately chose another location. Like the Philippines.

Orson Welles doesn't fit, because "It's all true" didn't make him more famous.

As tempting as it is to jump to Spielberg; he rarely casts girls in prominent roles in his films. He's all about the boys, tom-boys and male dynamics in his movies.

Who else has created a movie the whole world was apparently talking about?

    Cameron?
    Lucas?
    Spielberg?

Let's get the Venn diagram of this going. :)

Which of these might have had an Amazon filming location shoot?

At least Apocalypse Now wasn't a stupidly popular film when it came out in small increments. Its reputation has grown over time.

One key clue to decoding this is the B+ actress at the party.
Who would that be and who's the secondary death?

The death of Carol Landis has had question marks over it for years. But have family members also died in relation to this death?

  42. Apocalypse Now was huge at the time. Not a giant box office hit but hugely talked about.

Hitchcock? Didn't shoot anything in the Amazon. Did have a string of icy blondes in his movies.

  43. Anissa Jones for VS? Died at 18 from drug overdose in 1976, doctor was prescribing quaaludes, mystery vial found at the crime scene, brother died 8 years later.

He made the French Connection and then The Exorcist, after that he made The Sorcerer and was scouting locations for this movie in Ecuador (not Amazon proper but still..).

But I have never heard any rumours about him even remotely as sleazy and wicked as described above.

    I like Spielberg for this.
    Jaws out in 75
Likes young blondes...perhaps if both sexes.

  52. “PR” could stand for “Private Ryan”, maybe?

    ReplyDelete
  53. I agree with filmfanb and o k, this reads 100% like Francis Ford Coppola and Anissa Jones.

Fresh off of his creation "The Godfather", following "Paper Moon", "American Graffiti" and about to make "Apocalypse Now" and "The Black Stallion". This was the peak of his career and he was young -- mid-30's.

He was scouted the world for jungle locations for Apocalypse Now...doesn't say he filmed the movie there.

He's been rumored to be into young girls for ages.

Anissa Jones, found dead next to a vial of unidentified blue liquid, and her brother for the deaths.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Bob Evans for PR. He was running Paramount in the early 70s and greenlit The Godfather. He was also quite the celebrity, high profile marriage to Ali McGraw, which ended in 1973. He didn't remarry until 1977, which works for the Anissa Jones guess; he would have been 46 at the time.

He started as an actor and played a character named Pedro Romero in The Sun Also Rises.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Agree on the Anissa Jones for VS guess as well. She did audition for The Exorcist btw, but no way do I see this as Freidkin. Her brother for the "family member of VS who confronted PR a decade later and within 2 hours was dead."

    Death
Shortly before noon on August 28, 1976, after partying in the beach town of Oceanside, California, with her new boyfriend Allan "Butch" Koven and others, Jones was found dead in a bedroom of a house belonging to the father of a 14-year-old friend named Helen Hennessy. The coroner's report listed her death as a drug overdose, later ruled accidental; cocaine, PCP, Quaalude, and Seconal were found in her body during an autopsy toxicology examination. The police report also indicated a small vial of blue liquid next to Jones at the scene, which was never identified. The coroner who examined Jones reported she died from one of the most severe drug overdoses he had ever seen. Jones was 18 years old.

Where did the brother confront PR and subsequently die, though? I don't imagine Roman Polanski meeting him stateside in '84, but he fits the timeline and some/most of the other clues.

PR = Polanski, Roman? His first (known) drugging and rape victim, 13 year year old Samantha Jane Gailey, took place March 10, 1977.

    ReplyDelete
  56. His FIRST victim
    FIRST
    First in a “pattern developing”
In the “next few years”....Young girls and teens would look “remarkably similar”

If we are on track with VS...
    IMO
Coppola and Evans are both too established(this wasn’t their first rodeo) and too “dark” in idealized beauty...

    ReplyDelete
  57. It sounds to me like Mel Gibson. He created the movie "The Passion of the Christ" which people all over the world were talking about. He would have scouted out the Amazon as the setting for his next film "Apocolypto".

This would have happened before he killed that other woman in the Amazon during a drug-fuelled rage while shooting the movie.
If this is him in the blind, he's a total hypocrite and evil psychopath!

    ReplyDelete
  58. To be clear
Anissa Jones for VS, brother for relative
    Spielberg for PR

    ReplyDelete
  59. Known all over the world for something he created at the time of the affair/murder?? Howard Hughes is the only one that seems to fit ...

    ReplyDelete
  60. Buffy was out partying not taking special medicine preparing to meet someone. She was an ex-child actor not a B+ actress. Pretty far off the mark speculation. Spielberg or Evans hardly world famous for a creation back then either.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Hmmmmm, sadly Stephen Spielberg can fit well given the clues. Francis Ford Coppola & Bob Evans, too.

"He was one of the biggest celebrities on the planet (PR)". Was? Is PR dead or alive? Unclear from the blind. In any case, if it is Anissa Jones as VS, this sets the timeline in the years or months leading up to her death on 8/28/76.

"He had created something the entire world was discussing." Jaws (1975) DEFINITELY fits this given this suspected time period. I don't think Rosemary's Baby (1968) or Chinatown (1974) (never mind anything else Roman Polanski had produced pre-mid'76) quite fit this clue. Godfather 1 (1972) or possibly 2 (1974), maybe.

    ReplyDelete
  62. To add to my comment above, Mel Gibson was at the top of his game back then as a celebrity known world-wide. However his marriage was having problems and his eventual divorce settlement from his wife Robyn was rumoured to be the most expensive ever in Hollywood...$500 million. Notice how all his girlfriends since then have been brunettes with light olive skin who look a lot like his wife? Maybe he's working out some anger issues towards his wife? He has a history of psychedelic drug and steroid use (according to a previous blind by Enty) and a documented history of misogyny and physical abuse towards girlfriends. His current girlfriend is only 26 years old.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Spielberg DEFINITELY works for the clues if it is Anissa Jones timeline. He had just created THE FIRST SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER the year prior to her death - Jaws. And, this sounds like it is set in the days/weeks/months/year(s) leading up to her death. She was living and working in Playa Vista/Playa del Rey/Westchester/Marina del Rey.

"He was one of the biggest celebrities on the planet (PR). He had created something the entire world was discussing."

I take that to mean the entire world was in the process of discussing what this person had recently/just created. Jaws was the first summer blockbuster.

    https://www.howtogeek.com/trivia/which-film-was-the-first-summer-blockbuster/

Prior to 1975, summertime was considered by Hollywood executives and movie theater employees alike to be a graveyard: a dead zone where beautiful weather and outdoor activities kept people out of the theaters and gave Hollywood little motivation to turn out high-quality content.

All of that changed with the release of Steven Spielberg’s Jaws in the summer of 1975. The film not only smashed all previous summer box office records but all box office records period. Those records stood until two years later when the summer release of Star Wars blew through them both. The success of both films firmly cemented the concept of “summer blockbuster” in the public consciousness and Hollywood took note; every year since they’ve done their best to lure people away from summer activities and into theaters with high production value action-filled movies.

  67. OK then, what B+ list actress died of an O.D./poisoning around the time of the Passion of the Christ or shortly thereafter, with a family member that died roughly a decade later?

As to filming in the Amazon/Apocalypto, the blind says scouting a film (in the Amazon), not that it was actually filmed there. It also states that said film would make PR even more famous. Apocalypto? Make Mel more famous? That does not fit at all.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Only possibility is Spielberg. Jaws, leading to Raiders of the Lost Ark.

    PR = Private Ryan

Similar girls - Anissa, Judith Barsi, Heather O'Rourke. All dead. Drew B. also very similar in looks (Anissa and Drew in same pigtails especially). Judith also looked a lot like Ariana Richards (Jurassic Park).

The opening jungle scenes in the movie that made him even more famous - Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) - take place in Peru, although ultimately filmed in Hawaii. Spielberg first discussed RotLA with writer George Lucas in Hawaii in 1977, a meeting which is famous because they also discussed Star Wars.

But the timing is off. Whoever wrote this blind made up the part about the jungle juice I think.

  70. I'm not a shill when I guessed Mel Gibson. My logic was reasonable. I was trying to think of Hollywood movies that were filmed on site in the Amazon. There aren't a lot. So we have had 3 blinds that we know of with the same basic story - Big star kills or severely injures someone, and then kills the relative/friend who confronts them... and gets away with it all. And they don't seem to be referencing the same person/suspect.

  72. @Itttt:
You beat me to it - was reading comments and saw Spielberg mentioned and remembered, he was credited (in some article i cant remember) as the "inventor" of the summer blockbuster.

As for Friedkin - i am glad that he dosen't fit in to the description. His "invention" would be the steadycam (staircase chase in French connection). But this would be wrong as he didn't invent it and i think was also not the first to use it in a movie.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Apocalypse Now had locations scouted in South America. The scouting also started in the early 1970's even though the movie came out in 1979, so it could fit Anissa Jones who died in 1976 (too early for Spielberg and others). In 1976 Coppola would have recently made Godfather II.

    https://books.google.com/books?id=uG0uCgAAQBAJ&pg=PT76&lpg=PT76&dq=apocalypse+now+scouting+locations+south+america&source=bl&ots=usafq4_pzM&sig=DxBCcaEGMavRKSLYWexRHg3OG4I&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiIu5uevOPcAhWHLXwKHdyOAv04ChDoATAAegQIARAB#v=onepage&q=apocalypse%20now%20scouting%20locations%20south%20america&f=false

  74. @Blip, FFC would be in his 40's during that time, hardly a young man. SS was in his 20's when he made Jaws.

American Graffiti leading eventually to Apoc. Now? Might work. But we can be pretty sure the entire world was discussing Jaws, not so sure if American Graffiti fits that one. And that would be ignoring The Godfather as the films that made him more famous.

And there is no string of girls and teens associated with FFC.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Spielberg was credited with creating the 'summer blockbuster'. He also brought about a change in the way movies are rated. Many parents complained about Indiana Jones 'Temple of Doom'. They sent their kids to see it believing the sequel would be a feel-good movie like 'Raiders'. Unexpectedly, it was quite dark. The rating system was permanently changed after that so parents could better gauge movie content.

  77. I just want to point out (I'm a retired doctor) that a "special medicine" from the Amazon could have caused the death to look like natural causes, therefore the actress's death wouldn't have necessarily been reported as a drug OD.

When a toxicology screen is done for drugs, they only screen for common substances, so an exotic substance wouldn't have been found in the blood. It wouldn't be curare because that has to enter the bloodstream, but I'm sure there are other substances from the Amazon that could cause death.

The ayahuasca drug mentioned by someone above can cause death by serotonin syndrome if someone is taking other medications such as anti-depressants. Serotonin syndrome presents like a severe flu or "heat stroke" condition so the doctor might not suspect a drug OD and therefore toxicology tests might not necessarily have been done.

    ReplyDelete
  78. @Michelle, if it is Anissa we're talking about, she was found with a vial of blue liquid that they couldn't ID at the time.

GHB, the date rape drug, comes sometimes in a blue liquid, they call it blue nitro. Would be a handy "medicine" to give someone to make them more, er, "willing." Since GHB is naturally occurring. maybe it wouldn't show up in to results, or maybe they would have had to specifically be looking for it?

I'm poking around to find out what the deal was with GHB during the 70's - it was on the fringes of quasi-usefulness for medical reasons but had fallen out of favor - but I can't find any connection with the Amazon.

I do think that part of this blind about the Amazon is made up, that might be there only as a clue for PR's movie that was more famous than the first one.

    Spielberg.

  79. I found an actress Nicole DeHuff (Meet the Parents) who died in 2005 at the age of 30. According to Wikipedia she'd had a two week history of a strange respiratory illness, visited the ER twice being told to take Tylenol (I assume for a fever) and given antibiotics for bronchitis. "On February 16, 2005, paramedics rushed to her home after she collapsed, gasping for air. She subsequently lost consciousness en route to the hospital. By the time the doctor discovered her true illness, pneumonia, it was too late."

They ascribed the cause of death to pneumonia, but if she'd been poisoned with a slow acting drug that caused gradual paralysis of the respiratory muscles, then the pneumonia would have been a secondary effect. (Elderly stroke victims in hospital often develop pneumonia from lying in bed and having weak respiratory muscles).

This was a very unusual death for an otherwise healthy 30 yo woman!

    ReplyDelete
  80. @Fred. I just saw your post about GHB. I was actually doing a Masters in Microbiology in the 1980's (before my med school days) and they used GHB in the lab but for other purposes. I remember one of the Ph.D. students joking that the students had discovered it was a good cure for a hang-over, but it didn't get into the news as a "date rape" drug until the '90s.

Here's the description: "Gamma-hydroxybutyrate, or GHB, is a central nervous system (CNS) depressant that is naturally occurring in the brain and other human tissues. (The stuff the students were using in the lab was synthetically made by Merck.) In medical studies, GHB was eventually found to be ineffective as a pain-relieving medication and shown to be potentially unsafe for administration after many test subjects experienced seizures, intense bouts of vomiting, and severe swings between consciousness and unconsciousness."

It's a good guess for someone who would have died in the 70's or 80's as emergency departments wouldn't have tested for it back then. I still think there might be a number of other poisons that could have come from the Amazon and not necessarily looked like a drug OD. The blind talks about the "special medicine" being "ultimately what would kill VS". Maybe it wasn't instantaneous, but caused a longer drawn out illness.

Nicole DeHuff's death above sounds really strange because a full-blown pneumonia that would kill a young person is usually easily diagnosed by examination and a chest x-ray. However, like Brittany Murphy, calling something a "pneumonia" after the fact is an easy conclusion for a coroner to make but doesn't address other complicating factors. Obviously the relative had reason to question the death of the actress many years later.

  81. Forgot to add... "The Passion of the Christ" came out in 2004 and "Apocalypto" came out in 2006. While @ltttt above scoffs at the idea of Apocalypto making the celebrity even more famous, I remember there was a ton of controversy about the movie at the time because some people had labelled "The Passion of the Christ" as being anti-semitic, and then Mel had his little public fiasco with the "Jews causing all the wars in the world" statement. Some people were calling for boycotting of the Apocolypto, whereas other critics were saying how good Apocolypto was. (I saw it in the theatre and quite liked it).

I also notice that @ltttt above has a private profile. Is that you Mel?

  83. From above "The police report also indicated a small vial of blue liquid next to Jones at the scene, which was never identified."

GHB aka the date-rape drug: "GHB usually comes as a colourless, odourless, bitter or salty liquid, which is usually sold in small bottles or vials. It can also come as a bright blue liquid known as 'blue nitro', and less commonly as a crystal powder."

From above: "The coroner who examined Jones reported she died from one of the most severe drug overdoses he had ever seen. "

GHB: "If GHB is taken with other depressant drugs (such as alcohol or benzodiazepines), the chance of overdose is increased. If GHB is taken with stimulant drugs (such as amphetamines or ecstasy), the body will be put under a lot of stress as it tries to deal with the competing effects."

GHB: "The effects of GHB may start to be felt within 15–20 minutes and last for approximately 3 to 4 hours... GHB has been used to facilitate sexual assault. It can easily be slipped into a drink without the victim's knowledge, and can cause drowsiness, sleep and short-term memory loss. This means that victims may not be able to resist or recall a sexual assault."

It all fits. Who in 1976 would give Anissa GHB?

HOLY SHIT. Dudes listen. In that FAMOUS 1977 meeting between Lucas and Spielberg in Hawaii where they talked shop, Lucas presented his 1973 story where the main character was called Indiana Smith. Spielberg didn't like the name and suggested Indiana Jones.

  84. Paraquat poisoning is not a common occurrence in the United States. It is, however, a leading cause of fatal poisoning in parts of Asia, the Pacific Islands, and South and Central Americas. It’s reported that more than 70 percent of paraquat poisonings result in death.

It could have been Paraquat poisoning. Paraquat is a toxic herbicide which was first synthesized in the 1800's but was later used as an herbicide in the 1950's. It's extremely cheap so has been used in developing countries but is banned or highly restricted in most Western countries. It is commonly used as a means of suicide or murder and coincidentally is used quite a bit in Guatemala, where parts of the movie "Apocalypto" were filmed.

Paraquat poisoning is often fatal as it leads to Acute Respiratory Death Syndrome. According to the Centers for Disease Control, ingesting paraquat causes symptoms such as liver, lung, heart, and kidney failure within several days to several weeks that can lead to death up to 30 days after ingestion. The alveolar epithelial cells of the lung selectively concentrates paraquat.

Even a single swig, immediately spat out, can cause death from fibrous tissue developing in the lungs, leading to asphyxiation. Death is highly likely if you’ve ingested the chemical and don’t seek out immediate medical attention. The outlook ultimately depends on how severe the exposure was, the health of the individual, and how quickly the individual sought out medical attention.

Some people who survive paraquat poisoning will develop breathing symptoms, but have an otherwise full recovery. Many have long-term or permanent damage and scarring in their lungs. Esophageal strictures (or scarring in the esophagus) is also a common side effect; this makes it difficult for the person to swallow.

Boy, this sure sounds like a possibility for Nicole DeHuff's mysterious "pneumonia". The diluted form of Paraquat is what's commonly used as an herbicide and is the most common cause of accidental poisoning, causing death up to 30 days after ingesting.

  86. @Fred. While it's quite possible that Anissa Jones had a vial of GHB beside her (contributing to her death) it doesn't seem to fit with the story-line in the blind. Steven Spielberg only was introduced to the Indiana Jones concept in 1977, so he wouldn't have been scouting locations in the Amazon before then. He had been busy filming Jaws, and Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind, neither of which would have been reason to scout an Amazon location. The Raiders movie didn't come out until 1981. I also find no link to GHB being commonly used in South/Central America. It was a synthetic drug more common to Europe and the U.S.

I still think Mel Gibson is a good fit for this blind. He was certainly a young "celebrity" at the top of his game, but a "bit too old" for the party where he met the B+ actress. In 2004 The Passion of the Christ movie (which he produced, directed, and "created" with all his own money) was the talk of the world. In 2005 he probably was already scouting locations for Apocalypto, which was released in 2006 (parts of which were filmed in Guatemala).

Plenty of time for him to have obtained some sort of "medicine" from the Amazon, which was deliberately, or accidentally tainted with Paraquat, an herbicide frequently used in Guatemala and Central/South America. Paraquat is cheap and highly toxic, and is notorious for many accidental poisonings, as well as used for suicides and murders. It is therefore banned in many parts of the developed world

Poisoning with a diluted solution of Paraquat, leads to respiratory distress/failure over days to weeks. Nicole DeHuff was a popular up-and-coming actress in 2005 after starring in "Meet the Parents". She was possibly looking for more "serious" acting roles and would be young enough to attract Mel, but old enough for him to eventually find a "younger replacement". At age 30 she dies from a strange respiratory illness which developed over a 2 week period ... the cause of death eventually being called "pneumonia". Paraquat causes scarring of lung tissue, which on a chest x-ray would be indistinguishable from pneumonia.

We know from the previous Enty blind reveal that Mel Gibson murdered a woman during the filming of Apocalypto in 2005/2006, and he later made threats to kill his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva's. However, Nicole DeHuff might have been his "first" murder.

I think this all fits in better with the storyline in the blind.

  87. I don't think it is Mel Gibson, but DAMN!!!!!

    Brittany Murphy
    Heath Ledger
    Skye McCole Bartusiak

All played his children in "The Patriot" and all died young and fairly mysteriously of suspected "OD's". Brittany Murphy's husband died 5 months after his wife, again somewhat mysteriously but sort of just chalked up to an OD when like the others nothing else could be found.

  89. Mel Gibson was neither young nor at the height of his career with The Passion. And Apocalypto certainly didn't make him more famous.

  92. Got to be Anissa Jones - O.D., brother died from an O.D. years later, vial of unidentifed blue liquid.Any ideas why she would be "VS"?
I could see either Speilberg or Elvis.

Don't think he made any movies though ;)

  94. Oh how the deflection is rife on this board but that doesn't mean there's an iota of truth to this blind.
    Or does it?
I'll say it again, the settlement in the Spielberg/Irving was unprecedented, at the time.
$100 million dollars yet they were only married for only four years.

  96. Michelle, you make a compelling case for Mel Gibson and Nicole DeHuff.

    However:

    1) Mel was 48 when Passion came out. Hardly "young."

    2) No reported deaths for any of Nicole's family members near her death.

    3) 30 year old Nicole wouldn't be considered so young that an age difference would garner a remark.

    4) Nicole hadnt been feeling well. She was not out, partying with friends before her death.

    5) Mel was not "on top of his game". In fact, he had been slipping for quite some time with anti semitic remarks in the press. Only a year later was the sugar tits remark heard 'round the world.

This isn't to say that I believe Mel incapable of murder. I listened to the recorded conversations between his agent and his ex. Bro was unhinged.

But, my guess? I'm on the Spielberg/ Anissa train.

  97. What if this is about Roman Polanksi? What if this the event he created - as was rumored somewhere before - was the Tate killing that got the world talking?

He was top of his field for a while back in the day.

His girlfriends tend to be blonde.

I'm not convinced he was behind the Tate killing. But some people believe he was.

    1. The blind says that he was the biggest celebrity in the world. Roman was not even remotely close to being the biggest celeb in the world. Not by any measurement. Neither was Mel Gibson. Neither were Spielberg, Evans or Coppola.

  98. @totaji Turns out that Spielberg, particularly, and Gibson appear several times on Forbes's Celebrity 100 list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forbes_Celebrity_100. Maybe the list can offer more leads as well.

This is a gossip column, not a court of law, and your "roid rage" temper is well documented.
That being said, I really have to tell you that I thought Apocolypto was a great movie.

  102. @Kay

The death of the relative would have been over a decade later (according to the blind). I tried to look up any relatives. Her parents are both still alive, as well as her sister. However, she was survived by multiple cousins and aunts and uncles, so it's difficult to find out their names.

You misunderstand about when she would have ingested the Paraquat. It would have been several weeks before she died. That's why paraquat has been used in murders, because with a diluted dose, the person wouldn't get sick right away. The poisoning symptoms would take several days to weeks to appear, but would be predominantly respiratory in nature. I wondered if that's why the blind mentioned the medicine as what would "eventually" kill her.

Mel wasn't at the top of his game as an actor, but as a director, he certainly was at his peak after The Passion of the Christ. While he didn't win another Best Director Academy Award, he had made an obscene amount of money for The Passion which he financed and produced himself. It made him a very powerful figure with all the wealth and the world-wide audience that The Passion found. If Mel hadn't had that drunken rant, with the anti-semitic remarks, the film Apocalypto would have been better received by critics and done much better at the box office (I think).

I've tried to think of any other director that would fit for this blind (Cameron, Scorsese, Kuberick etc...), but they all would have been middle-aged like Mel when they had their biggest hits.
Steven Spielberg might have worked for this blind, but the timing didn't seem right for scouting out the location in the Amazon, unless it was the death of a different actress at a later time, closer to when Indiana Jones was made? Steven was just too busy with back to back movies, which were filmed locally, in the years before Anissa died from what I can see.

  105. Hahahahahahahahahahaha! The Mel Gibson argument is laughably off the mark, nice try Michelle.

This sounds like a bullshit blind that is partially based of a real life incident. 20% truth *0% fiction.

    ReplyDelete
  106. If you're going to say that something is "laughably off the mark" you need to point out in what way it is off the mark. Otherwise you just sound like you're Mel Gibson trolling CDAN for blinds about himself while using a fake Avatar picture to try to conceal your identity. It just makes Mel look more suspiciously guilty.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Michelle, I'm obviously not Mel Gibson, don't be silly.

It's just that Gibson was not young when TPOTC came out, nor was he in his prime. He was nearing 50 and his best days were arguably behind him. Still prevalent, but not at all in his prime.

As others have pointed out, PR reads like Spielberg, and he was essentially on top of the world after Jaws came out, the first summer blockbuster being what he created. Anissa Jones reads very much like VS and her brother died 8 years after she died.

Now, did Spielberg have anything to do with Jones? I don't think so, but it's not the first time Enty has implicated him in these blinds with no real established link.
