Blind Items Revealed #6

April 20, 2018

She didn't want to use a Groupon because that would make news. So, this A+ list singer simply told this agency she would use a different ticketing system next time around if they didn't drop their fees. Voila. 10% discount to the show without using a Groupon.

  1. Others have demanded the fees get dropped too, the ticket price listed is what you pay. This is actually a kindness blind.

  2. Almost every famous singer had been using Groupon in Los Angeles and elsewhere because they can't sell. People don't want to pay.

  3. The fees are outrageous, so yeah, how is this a bad thing? She was overbooked, three nights in NJ, 2 of them i a thunderstorm. People wait until the last minute for outdoor stadiums.

  4. I wouldn't even see T-Swift for free. She's terrible.

  5. Queen Swift is a brilliant businesswoman.

  6. No, her handlers are brilliant. She's a homeschooled attention whore with a highly limited vocal range who can't keep playing the perpetual victim forever, although it certainly has been lucrative for Jennifer Anniston.

  7. Don't these lunatic singers want $100+ for basic seats now? Of course none of them are selling shit. That's outrageous.

  8. She's the top earning female touring, number 3 overall after Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars and setting attendance records everywhere. Quit with the hate and be objective. She also meets with fans before and after for free and her your is the best reviewed of any.

  9. She still sucks donkey balls.

  10. Hey FA and Dannette what have you accomplished in your miserable lives besides obesity?

  11. On the other hand, if this were a man it would be called 'good business' or 'an intelligent corporate move'. SMFH

  12. Those ticketing agencies kill you with fees. Good for her. Maybe I'll try that, with less success I'm sure, next time.

  13. Oooh, ten percent off a hundred dollar ticket. BFD.

  14. This is a bad thing? Ticket fees are ridiculously high so good for her. If Enty's trying to infer T. Swift is having trouble selling tickets, I'm not buying it. That tour is making bank.

  15. My partner was in hospital overnight last week. One of the nurses told us she and her 7yr old daughter were going to see Taylor in Tampa for $250 each.

  16. God, I wish MORE artists would do this. #FuckTicketbastard

  17. What does Ticketmaster expect? Artists do not make money on songs like they did in the days of CDs and records. So of course they are going to push for lower fees.

  18. Good on her. The people I know who've seen the show, even those who went to take their kids and aren't big fans themselves said it was great.

  19. Taylor's reasoning for the high ticket prices is that she's just meeting the price set by the market on ticket reselling sites. Jay Z said the same thing a year previously. Ticketmaster are shutting down their reselling sites in the UK, so hopefully the bubble has burst as far as ticket prices go.

  20. Lots of artists have complained about ticket fees and the resell market. FE, Pearl Jam and Garth Brooks. Ticket prices are too high. The 11th row for Elton John for his next Dallas show is $11,000. The cheapest seat is $385. That is ridiculous. Fees only add to the misery and keep fans out. TS has done a good job of providing fan outreach. The Rep Tour attendees each get bracelets which are synch'd and change colors for a bigger visual experience. The Rep Room visits with hundreds of fans chosen randomly for 5 minute meet and greets before and after the show complete with pics and personal visits. She donates her time and money to charity and does so without a big PR stunt. she also supports rising artists and showcases their music and talents. Where do you think Ed Sheeran got his big break? Right now, she's been giving a platform to LGBTQ performers and history.

If she comes across as aloof to some think about this: she is in a system in which her alleged sexuality would foreclose her having a career at all. Why should she quit being a person because of what she does for a living? Why should any performer, actor, politician, religious leader, etc.? I say kudos for her sharing her time, money, experience and platform with those who need it. And as for the Kardashians, think about this: those slimy MFers destroy everyone they touch. Why should that hippo-assed Barbie doll and her mentally ill husband be revered? Why should her mother be given a platform to whore out her kids one after another for reality show bucks? It is gross. It is indecent and immoral AF.

I'm not a fan of TS's music, but I am a fan of any person doing their part to make the world an even slightly better place. I'm also a huge fan of professionalism and work ethic. Not sure when that became a slur in this world.

  21. Funny, all her shows are either sold out or near as. I'm guessing she will make 9 figures+ on this tour. Someone appears jelly at that idea. I'm guessing every other major act wishes they had her problems.

  22. 'Her' music sucks. Period.
I say 'her' cuz thats not a natural born female...
