Blind Items Revealed #2 - Mr. X

May 3, 2018

Which A+ list daytime talk show host has a way her booking office gets all the A-list guests on her show and leaves her competitors high and dry with big name guests? Well for one thing, the production conglomerate behind her show need some puff piece questions when said guests come to promote their movie. Unlike other talk show hosts, she is on very good terms with PR people and agents (you know, in case the star needs to make an appearance to do some damage control) and sends them gifts as a thank you. Celebrity guests, for the most part, dread going on her show because they know she's an uber-bitch behind the scenes and just plain don't like her. That's why the green rooms are stocked with a bar. Oh and did I mention that she has several deals with some celebs that they only appear on her show and no other daytime shows.

  2. It's simple, just look at her eyes at any time. Sharks show more soul.

    1. This. I've never gotten a good vibe from her.

  3. There's a fucking poundmetoo moment waiting to happen. How many bitches has she smashed over the years? Do not get why she's popular. She's old as fuck but she still dresses and acts like a 14 year old boy? That's her public persona? That's what daytime TV viewing soccer moms think is funny and cool?

  5. She sucks. My friend (whose a lesbian )worked with her and told me she made her wanna go straight lol).
Just a phony fuck,is what she is. And we thought Anne Heche was the bad one in that coupling?

  6. +1 brayson. I always saw that too.

  7. Poppy Harlow could never be a lesbian. She hates the smell of fish.

  8. This is no different than anyone else. Puff questions, booze in the green room. Requesting no other competition appearances. People go on her show because viewers actually watch her show. Unlike the Talk Chew, View b.s.

  9. The key is watching her eyes. She's a shark, and her anger is all fueled by her owning an industry that threw her away when her vulnerability was showing. A person who acts and lives on revenge is toxic to her core. All that money she throws around is dressing.

  10. Yikes. I had no idea that Ellen, of all people, generated this amount of rage.

  11. Sounds like what Letterman was back in the day when he lost the Tonight show and was trying to beat Leno in the Late Night Wars.

  12. She's fake as fuck. Same as most of the talk show hosts. There's not even any humor in what she does. She's the equivalent of cat videos on youtube.

  13. I'm waiting for the blind on how horrible she is to her staff and writers.

Sounds like normal talkshow stuff to me. Ellen is winning the game, scores the best interviews, so others love to throw shade.

Johnny Carson was a miserable SOB, too. Letterman wasn't friendly or even nice to his guests when they weren't filming. Oprah? Revere her OR ELSE!

I don't get the special scorn for Ellen at all. Wanna know a real loose screw in the talkshow world? The Rosie O'Donnell stories are legend.

  15. Very true, they have power, they get power mad. Remember when Rosie was called "Queen of Nice"? She got power not that that fat pig was ever nice though, but her true colors showed up.

  16. This is mostly standard procedure for talk shows, but I do notice that she has a sadistic streak and loves segments that put people in uncomfortable situations. Even her primetime gameshow is about one step from waterboarding contestants before they have to answer a question.

  17. Does anybody think that celebs go on talk shows because they're friends with the show hosts? The whoring works both ways - celebs need publicity for their new movie or TV show, and the host needs guests that viewers will want to tune in for. It's all fake.

  18. Don't watch ...don't care

  19. "Ellen is winning the game, scores the best interviews."

INTERVIEWS? lol, plotz' idea of "best," "interviews" and "winning" is adorable. What a weird thing to say about the #1 Product Placement and Puff Hour on crap broadcast TV. Perfect place for her, the heffa deserves it.

  20. I stopped watching her years ago when she kept having the skank Kartrashians on her show, and she still does.

  21. If you google for "loathsome untalented lesbian" Ellen shows up in the first ten results.

  22. Sounds like she's dominating and some people are whining about it. Sucks to be them.

I have two contacts who work/worked on the Ellen show, in different areas. She's not a saint but neither had really negative impressions. One still works there and the other left for a promotion in NYC.

  23. To @SteveD --- I am glad someone finally verbalized the existence of her "sadistic streak." Her mean-spirited demeanor is impossible to disguise. Her smile does not cover it. And she is not funny!

  24. Another misogynist bullshit blind.
One, production coordinators/booking agents sign the celebrities for appearances, through their agencies.
Two, all talk shows have a bar in their green rooms.
Three, Ellen is executive producer, aka, THE BOSS. An excellent according to those who have been with her for years and years.
What she says goes. If you don't like it, take a walk. Just like when ANY man is in charge. You people are so stupid.

" What a weird thing to say about the #1 Product Placement and Puff Hour on crap broadcast TV."

You've just described all network programming and 3/4 of paid programming. If Ellen is better than most at this game, which I bet she isn't, good for her.

If you don't like it, turn off the TV. That's what I do as soon as I spy the blatant manipulation of my buying choices or opinions. Your choice.

Interning for that shrew Ellen must be a nightmare. I pity you!

  27. @Paul Saint John
LOL! I've never interned - I like getting paid, hahah.
I do/did know someone who worked on her show for years, early on, and loved it there. Only reason she left was because she had to move for her husband's job. She would never have taken shit from anyone. :)

  28. She has to be known within the industry as the damage-control queen ---
