Prince, there was a blind item on another site that said he had HIV and the Jehovas convinced him to pray and he was cured. A couple of weeks after the item ran, he was dead.
ReplyDelete@joshg, I saw that and I believe it. Vanity died from a "long illness" shortly before Prince. It is suspected that she had AIDS as well.
DeleteAnyway, I was crushed, but not surprised when he passed.
It's disappointing though, that he clearly knew the end was coming, but did not plan his estate. As opposed to Bowie, who had every last detail planned.

ReplyDeleteOne even had full blown AIDS and with treatment was able to get down to just HIV+ and then down to Undetectable - I didn't know that was possible!!
I live in NYC where there is city-subsidized healthcare for the HIV+ community due to the shitshow of the 80s.
I agree with you but I’m not sure if Prince took the meds. He supposedly refused to have double hip replacement surgery because he may have needed a blood transfusion. Or maybe because he didn’t want anyone to know his HIV status.

ReplyDeleteCan you die “hours earlier” and have that fact hidden from a medical examiner? Doesn’t the body decomp smell and rigormortis give a more accurate timeline for death? I’m not sure I believe this one.
ReplyDeleteA few days before when he went to the hospital in the midwest, it is a hospital close to me, and he refused treatment there as well. They tried to sue the hospital and it was a big thing here that the hospital wasn't liable because he left against doctors orders.
ReplyDeleteThe blind item in MTO suggesting Prince had HIV/AIDS was PLANTED by Phaedra Ellis Lampkins to make it look like he was ill and unhinged. It is utter bull that he believed he could pray away the illness- firstly he had been moving away from the JWs for the last few years of his life and secondly if he really believed he could pray illness away why didn't he pray his pain away? Why did he pay medical bills for scores of people? By the way he DID have hip surgery around 2010 when he was fully into the JWs. The scar is noted on his autopsy but also Ebony did an interview with him just after the surgery and it was mentioned that he was recovering.

I think we've all heard the whole HIV/AIDS thing before. But it's something we are not likely to see come out. At least not anywhere near now.
ReplyDeleteThis blind isn't really surprising though. Everything about Prince's death is bizarre and tragic.
Many people told the police he died on the 20th and that his body was moved. He was dead before Dr. K was called that night. I have never heard of anyone with AIDS getting around like he did. According to an engineer he helped him move furniture around just the day before. All of this stuff was planted in the media by people around him seeking to cover up their involvement and possible stealing. When will someone take a look at those people.

ReplyDeleteGo read the files. There are allegations of stealing. Paisely Park was looted after Prince died that very day. There is an allegation in the files that a large chunk of royatly money went missing. If you lie about the time of death and remove yourself from the area you are giving yourself an alibi. You do not not want the police to know you were around when he died and you would never lie about it unless you were up to know good. CDAN is just repeating what is in the files and adding that other doctors were around which the police were told repeatly that Prince had another doctor in MN.

ReplyDeleteI'm not one for conspiracy theories--I'm an Occam's Razor junkie--but when it comes to Prince I believe it. The fact that he and Warner Bros had fought for decades over his music rights and that just when he had won he suddenly dies, it's just too too too coincidental.
ReplyDeleteMy problem with this blind is that Enty says it was a random staffer that was sent from the rehab. It was the son of the owner of the rehab that was sent. He's the one that's going to take over the business when the dad dies or retires, so it wasn't a "random" staffer, it's the guy that's going to be owning and running the rehab in a few years time.

ReplyDeleteHe broke Federal law bringing those drugs across state lines but no charges were filed against him or his father.
I believe the rehab really did think they were being sent to help but Prince was already dead and the rehab was just being used as a cover or they could be in on it. What sort of doctor would fly someone in when Hazeldon was right down the street or Prince could have flown anywhere in the world for care on a medical transport plane.
Newsflash! Most rehabs are not run by Doctors nor do they have doctors on staff. There really is no general standard of care required for drug rehab facilities and anyone can set one up as long as they have the money and do what’s required in the state they’re in to open one, which isn’t a whole lot in most states. There is very little regulation regarding drug rehab facilities, the care they offer, and the claims they make. Administration of medicine is another story of course but you would be shocked and a bit scared to find out how poorly qualified to most drug rehabs are to actually treat and help addicts. If I had the money I could open a rehab and be treating patients within 2 months.
DeleteOriginal I am not shocked. Dr. Kornfield is a doctor but he has a bad rep and I cannot see any decent doctor sending his son with controlled substances across state lines. What they did was extremely illegal and unethical. Why did they not get charged? No decent doctor would be involved in these mess unless money was involved. Why are the police looking out for these people?

ReplyDeleteFor anyone who doesn't buy tho load of lies they've encountered in trying to understand why Prince is no longer with us... Please join us in uniting with signing and sharing this. It's very easy to do and only takes a minute of your time. The more signatures there are, the better a chance to be heard, and taken seriously. This is the one thing we can do right now to fight for him, rather than sit idle and do nothing. So come on, it's time for us to stand up for him and give him an autograph andessentially a voice he no longer has!
