Mrs Meat - almost any celebrity wears a wig. Brittney and the Kardashians are pretty much always in one.
But most women of color wear them regularly as well, natural hair does not grow out very easily or very long. If someone better informed than I would like to chide in I'm sure they'll be more informative than I am on the matter though!
Kylie and Kim k definitely wear wigs all the time. Nicki Minaj Blac Chyna Beyoncé nene Leakes are big wig wearers. Ariana g ponytail is the fakest crap I have ever seen. With all the everyday styling done it would damage their natural hair.

I know there are some people that don't realize the extent of wigs since a lot of hairdressers complain that people tell them they want Kylie's hair cut and they're like "umm sweetie that's not real hair..."

Most women in media wear wigs or extensions because the amount of time they must be or stay camera ready for performances, appearances, all of that manipulation would destroy their hair.Case in point, Arianna Grande and her need for that fake ponytail.
