Blind Item #12
This network thinks it can handle any push back against the hiring of this disgraced morning news guy. Apparently he discovered who was tipping off some reporters over the years about the host's harassment. That person, also a celebrity, is being forced out of his long time job as payback from executives who think the host is a good guy who has been given an unfair shake. Uh huh. I'm guessing one of those executives is one who once said he loved intern season because it was nonstop sex all summer.
NBC/Lauer
ReplyDeleteAndrew Lack as the guy being pushed out??
ReplyDeleteBob Costas is supposed to be leaving NBC for good very soon so him as the other guy? A long time ago he worked on Today.
ReplyDeleteThey also worked on the Olympics together. I can totally see Costas calling out Lauer; you got it @Sandy
DeleteThe whole Costas un- fanfared exit was obscene.
DeleteNBC will get a RUDE awakening if they think we will not boycott
ReplyDeleteDan Patrick is also leaving too
ReplyDeletehaven't their ratings been higher since Lauer left?
ReplyDeleteNBC/Lauer/Costas. All in the news within the last 24 hours.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the ones in control are more interested in an evil agenda than their ratings at this point? Trapped? The Curse...."All the plans of the dark ones to harm others backfire back on to them, their enemies are blessed." Frequency seems to be picking up.

ReplyDeleteMaybe they're testing the waters of embracing all the disgraced. I hope the protesters don't miss this opportunity. Is the network evil or just idiotic, who can say for sure. The only advice would be, "Lots of luck, you stupid f*cks."
ReplyDeleteCostas doesn't make sense. During the last Winter Olympics, he said on the air that it would be his last Olympics. That was almost 2 years ago. I think he may have also said something like that during this year's Kentucky Derby which was months ago. Doesn't seem recent enough. But it has to be Lauer
ReplyDeleteNBC is so tone deaf, one might even wonder if they are somehow being forced to do such self-destructive things.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna miss Costas. Even with pink eye, he was better than Lauer.
ReplyDeleteI will boycott everylast NBC station, show, venture. FUCK THEM.
ReplyDeleteI already miss Costas. The Olympics just aren't the same without him.
ReplyDeleteSince I watch no network TV, nothing to support, nothing to boycott. Morning shows are the WORST! How can anyone sit through more than 5 minutes of those?
Bob Costas will always have a place in my heart. Later was in tv as I gave birth.

ReplyDeleteI was at Syracuse while Bob Costas was studying there. One night at a campus bar, I asked "Who is that little guy who hangs out with the jocks all of the time"? My friend said " Oh, that's Bob. He wants to be a sportscaster!"
ReplyDeleteWhy not? They hired back serial liar Brian Williams.
ReplyDeletePeople don't really care.
As long as the on-switch for his/her TV set works, the average American is in clover.
Keep his ugly mug off of my tv. Maybe he can go on the food network with Gaida snd make a spectacle of himself. Good God, what an arrogant narcisst.
ReplyDeleteAgreed Plot, the Olympics won't be the same without Bob Costas. I stopped watching the morning shows years ago, I find them more annoying than entertaining.
ReplyDeleteThe only show I will watch on NBC, is Saturday Night Live. I remember when they were a great network, twenty years ago. If they are even considering Matt Lauer, it just shows how pathetic and desperate they have become.
ReplyDeleteWhy would they hire Lauer back? Maybe he thinks because they hired Williams back they'll bring him back?
