They all float down here, Candy. Favorite episode has to be when Alice was MIA, so Mrs. Brady went down to see Sam the butcher man & found Alice beating his meat. Obviously she joined in and one hell of a lot of Polish sausage was stuffed that day.
I don't know if it's my favorite, but I watched this show when it was first on and recall being captivated and hanging by a thread during the Hawaii trip, which I think was a 3-part episode. I was very young and it made a big impression on me.
The bully who teased Cindy because of her lisp, and then gave Peter a black eye. Mike taught Peter how to fight, and the next time Peter encountered him, he knocked a couple of the bully's teeth loose. At the denouement, the bully asked Cindy if he could borrow her book of tongue twisters, since Peter's punch caused him to develop a lisp/
Of course I watched it because it was awesome! I liked the one where Peter didn’t think he had a personality so he tried to impersonate Humphrey Bogart and was walking around the house saying pork chops and apple sauce in HB’s voice. Ha Ha Ha.
Hmmm maybe the one where Peter sports a mustache and calls himself Phil Packer so he might have a chance at scoring with one of Greg's ladies from his stable of ho's.
Hands down the worst episode is the adoption one with those kids who weren't even Brady's. I don't think there were any Brady's even in that episode.
Brady bunch was awesome! it would be easier for me to name the episodes I didn't like! Johnny bravo was me and my girlfriends code word for pot for longest time (till we got older and it just became Marley). one episode I do still reference in recent times is the one where Greg gets his hair dyed and it turns orange. I remember that sheer look of horror he had and then one day I lived it. me and my mom were playing hair and she dyed it. after she washed it and removed the towel without saying a word she got in her car and starting back out of the driveway. I thought she was joking and dashed to bathroom mirror and was HORRIFIED. I rushed to front picture window and threw open the drapes pounding on window with tears streaming down my face. lucky for me we lived on busy road so she wasn't quite able to back out of drive to flee. she then did what mom's do. she put car back in drive, came back into house and after several trips to store and $100 salon trip later (was soooo much money back then) she fixed it 👱
My grandmother/Grandfather were friends with Florence Henderson for years and as a kid if the 70s(or life in general lol), I was obsessed. We to a taping of the show when I was about 8 (which sadly wasn’t that house), and hung on those swings sets with the all.
Fave episode-Toss up:Trip to Hawaii when they got cursed with the necklace lol Or Greg pimping out Dass office as his lair when he wanted to “move out”/ be independent
I never much cared for when sitcoms went on vacation but somehow the Brady's in Hawaii actually worked for me! I think Vincent price was in cursed tiki episode too, nice crossover!
my mom met Greg Brady when he was in town for a play. she asked him what his favorite episode was and he said Hawaii because they actually went, makes sense
lol somehow I was just reminded of when Alice played another character, a relative of herself in that prim and proper suit. lol who was that?
this is fun thread enty! what was your favorite? hmm how about when one of the boys loses Mr Brady's plans in that tube at amusement park. a lot of legal liability averted there lil enty said whew
Did you know you can tell the sex of an ant by dropping it into a bowl of water?
ReplyDeleteIf it sinks - girl ant.
If it floats - boy ant
I grew up with the Brady Bunch in re-runs after school (70's). How can you pick just one?

DeleteYes of course, and Maria breaks her nose.
ReplyDeleteWhen Greg slept with Mrs. Brady....oh wait that really happened wasn't an episode.
ReplyDeleteThen the one where Marsha got her nose broken.
Smut connoisseur and culture critic sandybrook
DeleteYes.
ReplyDeleteThe Davey Jones episode.
I wonder whose bright idea Cousin Oliver was?
ReplyDeleteProbably the same person who hired Ted McGinley every time a show was ready to shark jump.

I’ll take the Hawaii episode
ReplyDeleteThe one where Cindy freezes on tv.
ReplyDeleteSame thing hapoened to me!

ReplyDelete"Pork chops and applesauce" and "mom always says, don't play ball in the house".
ReplyDeleteI loved the episode with the talent show when the Brady kids performed as The Silver Platters.
ReplyDeleteThe episode when Greg stole the rival high school's goat mascot, and he was trying to hide it while Carol was showing her friends their house.
ReplyDeleteHawaii episode or Johnny Bravo episode!
ReplyDeleteThe bully who teased Cindy because of her lisp, and then gave Peter a black eye.

Love 'em all, but did you see that pink bedroom in the real estate listing?
ReplyDeleteGood Lord! It was as if someone had upholstered Amy Schumer's twat!
Of course I watched it because it was awesome! I liked the one where Peter didn’t think he had a personality so he tried to impersonate Humphrey Bogart and was walking around the house saying pork chops and apple sauce in HB’s voice. Ha Ha Ha.
ReplyDeleteYes, Davey Jones episode.
ReplyDeleteThe "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" episode of course, iconic.
ReplyDeleteYes, Davy Jones episode. I had a big crush. Peter was my favorite Brady.
ReplyDeleteThe episode where Mike revealed his HIV status?
ReplyDeleteToo soon?
Girl, look what you done to me...
ReplyDeleteAny episode where they showed the "far out" bedrooms-- up in the attic or when Mike's office got converted once.
ReplyDeleteMom always says don't play ball in the house!
ReplyDeleteThe ghost in the chest in the attic room episode.
ReplyDeleteSaw a few rerun eps but never really got the appeal. Now, The Partridge Family? I could watch them all day.
ReplyDeleteHmmm maybe the one where Peter sports a mustache and calls himself Phil Packer so he might have a chance at scoring with one of Greg's ladies from his stable of ho's.

Does the house come with the Astro-Turf yard and the Seesaw? If not, it's a deal breaker for me.

Favorite episode is when Marcia got hot in the nose with a foot ball and when she met Davy Jones!
ReplyDeleteMarcia, Marcia, Marcia!!

Loved watching The Brady Bunch growing up in the 70s. Visiting SoCal now, plan to see the house on Monday! haha
ReplyDeleteI prefer The Brady Bunch Movie
ReplyDeleteIt satirizes all the best episodes
