A new electric toothbrush which was a solid £200 off the original price, and an animal grooming kit. They’re not particularly happy with our current heatwave and al my animals have quite heavy coats, so I’m going to clip them down a little.
Everytime I put something in my cart, a minute later it was sold out. Also I noticed the biggest sale items are all Amazon brand products, Fire sticks, Echo's, etc. I have seen better Prime days.
Another Kids Kindle Fire to replace the one my grandson broke (out of warranty). Everything else was "Meh". I did however buy a new sound bar from Costco, who also had a sale.
Let my Prime membership lapse several weeks ago. I may re-up when next season of The Man In The High Castle is released (the only Amazon show I feel is a must-see) but I might just join Prime for a month or 2 as that option is now available (used to be you had to join for a year). It is supposed to be going from $99 per year to $119 per year some time next year.
Also BBC had an article today on how Prime Day deals in fact are not the best deals of the year (Amazon copped to this) so I feel justified that I skipped out on it this time
Yep, I am such a sucker for Prime day deals. A new set of tiles to replace my current ones, all-clad frying pans, sous-vide stick, a safe(that was an impulse purchase, i really do not need it) and three fire tablets with memory cards. i also bought a box set of GoT seasons 1-7 and then checked at home and found last years set seasons 1-6 so cancelled the order
I got some new shoes (30% off) and some lip gloss (20%. Off). Not super deals but both brands rarely go on sale, anywheres. And two books (free). They had good school supply deals but I am trying to hold off on stocking my classroom just yet.
Scratch that . I caved and bought some hi-write paper (highlighted paper kids use to learn to write inside the lines) with an extra 20% off. Can’t buy it in the stores.
Nope, I’m a prime member too. I bought some wagyu beef on costco.com the night before though and I downloaded the rest of the Prime First Read books for July since they offered them for free.
An ebook, an epidermal laser (for freckles), and a mascara + primer bundle for $2. Not bad. Most of the stuff I REALLY wanted, like cookware, still wasn't at a decent enough price to me.
Yes, but let the lightning deal run out of time and ended up keeping the item at regular price. they won't get me next time, since i now know if you let the deal expire before time they alot you, you can't put it back in your cart again and expect the prime day deal(although the sale for the item hasn't run out or sold out).
No. I bought stuff last year but it was cheap junk from China and not even worth the discounted price. The best way to get a really good deal is to do research and have patience.
I tried Amazon shopping. It took FOREVER to arrive. I prefer shopping directly or Ebay. I like Ebay because the sellers are much more receptive to communications and I receive everything faster. No Amazon for me.
I’m excited to see that new movie “Constipation”. I hope it comes out soon.
ReplyDeleteEven if I had Prime their site crashed. You'd think the new richest man in the world could build a website that could handle massive volume.
ReplyDeleteThey only seemed to be selling dogs.
ReplyDeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteI think Jeff Bezos' is rich enough.

ReplyDeleteI looked at the site but there wasn’t anything of interest.

ReplyDeleteThere wasn't anything I wanted to buy. So, nope.
ReplyDeleteI'm so boring. I needed a new blender and the one I wanted was $60 off on prime day. LOL
ReplyDeleteNo, I took a look, but there wasn't anything I absolutely had to have.

I thought long and hard about buying a new dildo.

ReplyDeleteI bought a bunch of stuff I didn't need. However, full disclosure, I own Amazon stock, and it has been my highest earner. :)
