Four For Friday - The Interview - Part One
This interview was not formal in any sense of the word. I happened to know where this former Disney actress would be and the current A-/B+ lister knew I was coming and why I wanted to talk. She named some names, but not others. In addition, some of the names she did give are very small players and I have not had a chance to talk to them, so just give their general job description. This is not an obscure actress. All of you know who she is and she wants to come forward. She wants to speak on the record and on camera but is scared she will no longer have a career. She doesn't want to be known as the person who told everything and but never gets work. She is still super young and wants to earn enough to live on before going public. She did say that if you get a camera in front of her while she is drunk, she might change her mind.
I started out by asking her with her first experiences in show business and if she has ever been molested or assaulted. She gave a very long response. I have done some light editing because she was giving her exact age so I generalized it to make it more difficult to guess.
"I guess I was a tween when I first started. That was actually a pretty good experience as I look back at it now. It was a good role and I really thought that was the kind of work I was going to do my whole career. Even though it was a good experience, I remember that men and women had to share some dressing rooms because the cast was so large. I had two or three changes of clothes and I definitely got some stares that made me uncomfortable, but men had been staring at me for years so it was something I was used to. I shouldn't have been used to it, but I was. There were a lot of women in corsets in the production and I think the men were more focused on them. I was so excited just to be acting and getting paid that I didn't really notice much of anything else outside my limited view of the world."
"I really thought after that production that I would get lots of work and that agents and managers would be fawning over me. It never occurred to my tween brain that probably no one of any significance had seen it. My hopes for private jets and screaming fans was going to have to wait."
"During the time immediately after that production I went out on a lot of auditions. I was lucky to have my mom with me for most of them. Honestly, if I have one piece of advice to parents who want to be managers to their kids is that you need to be there. If you are not there, shit is going to happen to your kids they will never get over. It's one thing to go out of town and your kids have a party with their friends. Think about if you go out of town and the people that come over are a bunch of adults who are going to pass around your kid like a party favor and take pictures of the whole thing."
"I know I didn't get a lot of roles because my mom was there. Some other kid would go in and their parent wouldn't be there. That girl would be forced to strip to her underwear and they would take a bunch of Polaroids and have her pose in a bunch of positions. They would do this for literally hundreds of girls each week. I know they did it to boys too, but I never really saw that, just heard it from friends."
"When they would see I had my mom with me, they would have me come in and read a few lines and say thanks and that was it. Two or three minutes tops. The other girls would be in for 20-30 minutes and come out looking worked over."
"Call backs were always in a private office rather than in a public office. I once had a callback for a commercial. There was this guy there who worked for the company who was selling the product. It was for some chewing gum. He was seated behind his desk and couldn't stand up because his pants were on the floor and he was stroking himself while talking to me. He asked me if I wanted to see and I said no and I ran out of that f**king place. Meanwhile there were a bunch of girls there in the waiting room and I knew one of them would say yes. The pressure even when I was a tween was to say yes. These girls are the income for their parents. Even if the parents don't say touch the man's d**k, the girl knows they are the income for the family. What kind of parents quit their jobs and have some 11 year old girl be their sole source of income."
"Oh, and even though I didn't go around the corner to see that guy's d**k, I have been told point blank that if I didn't touch a d**k, I was not going to get a job. In fact, that is how I got my big break. I got cast on a show and didn't have to do anything with anyone. They just liked me. The reason I didn't have to do anything is because I was a little older then. I was in my mid-teens. They were afraid I would fight back. They did molest and force at least two of my younger co-stars to blow a producer and told each of them separately that whoever could get the guy to orgasm first would get the job and the other would be sent home. These girls were like 13 or 14. The sad f**king thing is this was not the first time they had to audition like this. Oh, and all the while some a-hole is filming them too so he can tell his jerkoff friends that he is the casting couch king. I guarantee that if you go to some teen show producer's house or his cloud or whatever, there are hundreds of hours of him with tweens and teens."
"Anyway, my show was going well and I knew it was going well and I knew they loved me and they wanted to do bigger things. Instead, they brought me in and said they were going to fire me and bring in someone more cooperative. Next thing I know, I am losing my virginity to a sweaty old fat face f**k producer on his office couch while crying the whole time and vowing to get revenge. The fat f**k."
"I got my promotion and show though. I can't even talk about the show without seeing this guy. I should never have agreed. I don't think I even said yes, I just kind of gave in and he was all over me. It took about 2 minutes and I hated my life for six months after that. I shut down. I started drinking a bit and then a lot and blamed myself. The thing is I was going through some rough s**t in my life right then and my mom couldn't be around like she had been. She was rarely around through no fault of her own and it was up to me to fight my own battles and I just wasn't ready. The first season of that show was them trying to get me into the skimpiest of clothes and to go without bras and was just a pawing and grope fest. I was a f**king piece of meat."
"The girls that would come in for an episode or two or a walk on role had it the worst. They hadn't "made" it yet so had to prove themselves. The producers had a Halloween bucket. Instead of candy though it had condoms. They would grab one and say they were going trick or treating. The one mandate from above was there could not be any pregnancies. None. That Halloween bucket was filled every month and it was a big bucket. That shows you how much they were f**king other people. A hit show and the producers were way more concerned with raping a 16 year old than the show."

DeleteMaybe Debby Ryan?
ReplyDeleteAmanda Bynes?
ReplyDeleteMiranda Cosgrove
DeleteTrying to find a Disney actress who's first film would have been a period piece based on the "corset" remark.
ReplyDeleteMy thought too.
DeleteI get the vibe that her first role may have been a theatre production. She never says if it's movies or television.
ReplyDeleteHeartbreaking :(
ReplyDeletePeyton List with 27 Dresses as the corset movie?
ReplyDeleteUgh - whoever it is, this is terrible. :(
Hillary Duff started out in a period piece with Angie Jolie
ReplyDeletehttps://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118499/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_71
With Dan Schnieder being the producer. She was on All That and then had her own show. Not sure where the corset art fits on though.
ReplyDeleteGetting her on camera while drunk is a very bad idea - it can and will always be spun and dismissed as a result.
ReplyDeleteSlightly off topic: besides Montana and maybe Guesser anyone else remember when Texas Mom who said she was Hillary Duff's mother was posting in the comments here?
ReplyDeleteDove Cameron.
ReplyDeletejamie lynn?
ReplyDeleteZendaya??
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's Amanda or Jamie Lyn because it seems like this is a still working actress.
ReplyDelete+1 jes
ReplyDeleteDove Cameron b.1996 was in production of les mis in 2007 at age 11
“Promotion” was to lead of liv/ maddie in 2012
I got the vibe that the corset job was theatre.
ReplyDeleteAt first it looked like Ashley Tisdale, who toured with Les Mis, but she actually got her big break (Zach & Cody) at age 20. So not her.
Also, lots of these guesses are Nickelodeon...
Schneider, Bynes, and Jamie Lynn are Nickelodeon, not Disney. I’m going with Debby Ryan...
ReplyDeleteI guess J is too busy jerking off to the thought of a tween casting couch to comment. We'll hear something ridiculous soon I'd wager.
ReplyDeleteNo. They aren't.
DeleteWhere the fuck did you come from with this smear?
Same place as the rest.
Soooo... going to college and learning to be a veterinarian or maybe an airline pilot... that's out of the question?
ReplyDeleteThe ONLY option is to stay in the entertainment business and make enough to retire on, presumably relatively quickly?
J you're going too fast.
DeleteYou can't broach the topic of "should this entire industry even exist in the first place" here. Yet.
"Promotion" feels like it has something to do with Debby Ryan or Peyton List
ReplyDeleteSuite Life on Deck - Jessie (DR promoted to main character)
Jessie - Bunk'd (PL promoted to main character/more significant character)
Peyton was only 13 when Jessie started and had been acting since she was a kid, so likely not her.
Debby Ryan is my guess.
Thought Hillary Duff too - but she never got a "promotion" really/

ReplyDeleteJFC...even worse, this was the fate of many of the Disney and Nickelodeon et al. child actors. And the extras/guest stars/nobodies.
ReplyDeleteSweaty old fat face producer sure describes Dan Schneider to a T, even if this particular incident took place at Maushwitz.
And note how these scumbags took advantage of their opening - this actress's mom had been vigilant for years, but at the first opportunity they preyed on her. No doubt these pieces of subhuman excrement pedovores are predating CONSTANTLY.
But hey, fake blind, right? You scumbag shitheel shills posting here - you know who you are!
Beg to differ. "Vigilant" parents don't let their kids anywhere near the entertainment business.
ReplyDelete+100
Delete"still super young" means it wouldn t be bynes, duff, etc it has to be someone in the early 20s, not early 30s.
ReplyDeleteAlso Disney not Nick
To all actors who have been abused and raped.
ReplyDeleteSpill to alternative media outlets that are not corporately financed.
Email @Enty and coordinate reveals so it can't be easily quashed or coopted.
The people support you.
Re blind:
Movie with a bunch of corsets could be any of Disney Channel Movies (HalloWeentown 1,2, or 3)
All of them had large casts with tons of kids, definitely the kind of production to share dressing rooms with such a large cast.
This dam is bursting.
"Men" who are more angry at rape and SA victims than the rapists are most likely predators themselves.
ReplyDeleteJ, I get you're a vile, embittered cunt, but if you can't get a woman to touch you willingly then get a prostitute because I'm sick of your bullshit. I hope your poor mother didn't have too many stitches.
So this guy J goes after pedos
DeleteAnd you stalk him through comment after comment alleging MISOGYNY no other poster aside from a handful of throwaway accounts has batted a single eyelash at
Fuck right off to hell, White Noise
You won't even engage me because you know I'll eviscerate you here
DeleteSo you go for softer targets.
Duly fucking noted, sket.
How many quid you pimping your kids out for? Will you answer questions or do you merely smear? Anything for Little Lorde Natty Rothschild. Taste the Sainsbury difference, dhilo.
DeleteNathaniel Rothschild and Steve Coogan's Amazing Rape Adventures!
DeleteYeah but this J guy, he's literally Pol Pot out here
https://youtu.be/L8qHtNPjHbI
DeleteGeeljire, your passion is interesting, but you do know posting comments is doing nothing for these kids/the abused. You seem to think you are making a difference. You’re not. Sorry to say. And calling people out makes you look childish. Why not act like an adult?
DeleteYou have no idea who I am or what I do totaji
DeleteSit down, beta
I’m seated. With my feet up. And I’d love to know who you are. Why the anger man?
DeleteYou've read a lot of what I wrote
DeleteA lot of allegations
A lot of blinds
Fuck off with this disingenuous shit
WHY R U ANGRY GEELJIRE
Delete"kids are being raped and groomed on an industrial scale"
YEAH BUT R U ANGRY?
Man, I’m with you about that. But I’m not angry at my brothers and sisters here. We are all trying to figure this out and get the message out! None of us are perfect. Some are conservative, some liberal. All of us are sick at our stomach about what’s been going on under our noses.
DeleteThanks, Geeljire, but I don't mind. I'm incredibly amused to know someone out there cares so much.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteActually, I have the impression Viking Song, for some reason, needs innocent children to keep coming within reach of molester adults.
ReplyDeleteSure seems that way; why get upset when I advocate for parents to keep their kids out of Hollywood?
Sketchy.
When I read the Sorvino story about being gagged with a condom during an audition (https://pagesix.com/2018/07/11/mira-sorvino-says-a-casting-director-gagged-her-with-a-condom-when-she-was-16/?_ga=2.44170660.1451122163.1531327101-496810861.1531327101) I realized FULLY how fucked this biz is. I already knew because my children were stalked by agents etc and I took them to auditions a few times. We were not in LA but the city we were in was just getting hot as a locale... The parents acted like pimps, but that's another story/
ReplyDeleteWHAT I REALIZED is that all those HORROR films... THE AUDITIONS? The prospect that whatever some casting director did was OK because these were auditions for HORROR FILMS>! Terrorizing in the name of ART?
Jeez. I don't know if I can read anymore about this crap. Children I knew from the audition days - some of them are famous now, but not for what they really did. How to become an IT girl? Keep your mouth shut and screw old diamond merchants in NYC. VOILA
When reading stories about actresses and actors, I always wondered why those behind the scenes seemed to hate parents. It's clear now. Those poor kids. Praying all the scum will be exposed, tried, and jailed. Then, the inmates can mete out more justice to the pervs.
ReplyDeleteHilary Duff I think. She was in Disney. The second movie was A Cinderella Story, but the first Lizzy movie wouldn't have had a lot of corsets.
ReplyDeleteDuff has a net worth of $25 million though
ReplyDeleteUniversal, as I posted before, Duff's first role was in the film "True Women"--1997
ReplyDeletea period piece that had Angelina Jolie and Dana Delany and Annabeth Gish--all HOT women who would be gawked at by dressing room pervs as the changed in and out of corsets...
Geeljire you make a difference. Silence is a lie speak for truth
ReplyDeleteDuff and Bynes were Nick stars, not Disney.
ReplyDeleteNo one wants to consider Bella? She has balls enough to face Enty after all he's said, assuming this happened. And the endless stream of four letter words is keeping in character with her.
@ Andy .... Hillary duff is Disney! Disney channel royalty actually
Delete@ Sandybrook,
ReplyDeleteI remember Texas Mom but I think someone tried to prove her wrong (or whatever) and she started posting less and less then not at all.
Geeljire must be going crazy with all the pedo stuff being little girls today. Might as well put your pants back on dude.
ReplyDeleteHi shareblue
Deletehttps://8ch.net/qpol/res/17.html
That was really thoughtful for someone to compile this and just leave it lying about the internet
To stop you fucking pedos
The key line: "If you [parents] are not there, shit is going to happen to your kids they will never get over."
ReplyDeleteNot "might" happen. Not "could happen if you end up at one of the 'bad' agencies or producers." "Is going to happen." It's pervasive to the point where you can't miss it and get work. That means everyone in the industry has known about it, and probably knows about particular guilty individuals and agencies.
The attacks on J. and Geeljire are weird. You don't have to like them, but accusing them of being pedos or pedo sympathizers is odd, and some of you know better. If anyone has tried to cast doubt on pedo blinds for political reasons here, it hasn't been them.
Viking Song often seems like it's been pissed off by people on some other site and brings it here. It's such a stereotype of a bitter man hater I've often wondered if it's a bot or a plant to drum up arguments.
ReplyDeleteI feel so bad for all of these girls (and boys). I love Debby Ryan...
ReplyDeleteYup - there are shills, paid or otherwise, actively operating here. Whether through disinformation, disruption, dismissal, and even PROJECTION of that for which THEY THEMSELVES are no doubt guilty, these scumbags and/or their patrons are rightfully threatened. There is an extinction level event headed their way...best bet for these pedovore pervs would be to schedule a news conference, confess their crimes fully including naming all names of their fellow scum, put it all out publicly full disclosure, then eat a cyanide pill or a bullet. MUST SEE TV.
ReplyDelete+1 Cail
ReplyDeleteDove was a project runway all star judge -will part 2 be about Harvey? Is every man in Hollywood sick?
ReplyDeleteI remember Texas Mom, I think. Sounds familiar.
ReplyDeleteI get kids who have careers to preserve keeping quiet. But if hundreds (and in total thousands) of kids are getting raped, the vast majority of which wash out of the business quickly anyway, why won't some of them come forward? Not one by one, but a group that may know of each other, which could snowball once in the media. We've seen that one victim is often ignored, but 50 with the same story will cause waves. Is it the complicity of the parents that prevents it?
ReplyDeleteIf this is Dove, Part 2 should be easy to pick out with The Descendants/Ortega.
ReplyDeleteThat truth is,it could easily be any and all actresses mentioned. She just needs to know the public has her back. This is much like the gymnastics case, until a name comes forward it won't stop.
ReplyDeleteRe: Fickman: Look through his IMDB profile pictures for a who's who of horrible creeps
ReplyDeleteThere are definitely shills - paid or otherwise, likely paid - operating here.

I used to come here every day, now I check in every once in awhile. It’s just too much; too soul-crushing. At least I know I’m not alone in thinking that it’s more than just bitter people- they most certainly have a motive.
DeleteYou will end up as a believer too.
ReplyDeleteShe's Nickelodeon and not Disney, and the ages may be off, but the going through some rough s**t in my life right then and my mom couldn't be around like she had been. She was rarely around through no fault of her own part made my mind leap to Jennette McCurdy, whose mother battled breast cancer for years before passing in 2013.
ReplyDeleteIt's terribly sad how many actresses we are all coming up with for this. This has to be revealed. This has to fucking end.
+1 Nick Rivers, very possibly
Delete"Soooo... going to college and learning to be a veterinarian or maybe an airline pilot... that's out of the question?
ReplyDeleteThe ONLY option is to stay in the entertainment business and make enough to retire on, presumably relatively quickly?"
Stop being actresses/actors because of these pedo-monsters? So if the Medical field had this same issue, should women stop being Doctors and Nurses? And if this happens to kids in schools (and god knows it is in some places), should we put an end to their education?
That's the best we can do for these victims? I thought we were about shutting down the monsters, not these kids/women's career choices and dreams. Even if not their own choice, when Mom and Dad push them here at 11, they have hardly developed any other skills I'd assume. My presumption would be that this is their ONLY avenue for financial stability/protection.
It's definitely Hilary Duff. The production with a big cast was likely The Nutcracker at age 6. She was cast in some commercials at age 8. The show where she was dropped from the cast was Daddio at age 13. The big show that made her career was Disney Channel's Lizzie McGuire at age 13/14-17.

and the name of the producer is a pure guess
i'm guessing :Todd J. Greenwald
Brenda Song or Dove Cameron?
ReplyDelete(((Dan Schneider))) or (((Andy Fickman)))?
Why is there always some dude jackin himself off in these type of blinds. How does this not get back to anyone? Ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteShe was sixteen. She wanted the job. That's consent to me. Sorry, darling.
ReplyDeleteYou're fucking sick
DeleteNo, I have zero sympathy for metooers who made a career out of spreading their legs. The girl could have walked away. She just surrendered to the pressure to stay in the business. Just as now she won't come out and expose the culprits because she wants to have a career and make a lot of money. She said so herself. Hence my lack of sympathy. Also, where was her supporting mom? It sounds as if the young actress knew that having her around was hurting her career prospects.
DeleteShe explicitly said she didn't actually consent to losing her virginity, and in many places 16 is still not old enough to give consent. I guess you also missed the part where she mentions 11 year old having to give BJ's to producers for roles. You're a sick piece of trash for minimizing these abuses of CHILDREN! Now fuck off troll!
DeleteThe girl from good luck charlie? she was on sweet life and wizards as an extra i think...
ReplyDeleteIf. you. Tell. Someone. S/he. Will. Lose. Their. Job. If. They. Don't. Fuck/suck/whateversexactyoudemand. There. Is. No. True. Consent. That is sexual harassment and that is illegal.
ReplyDeleteIf the victim is not 18, then s/he is underage and can't give consent. That is statutory rape.
Either way, the producer or director or other actor that is lording power is a predator!
And the performer trying to work shouldn't be forced into that situation. It's not fair to blame them for the practice.
She will lose a job. Just a job, not her life. Who hasn't lost a job over disagrrement with a boss or two? I just walked away as she could have.
DeleteAge if consent in California is 18, it's 16 in other states. Hollywood 16 is old and jaded and experienced. That is, 26 anywhere else.
The level of entitlement and privilege that are the basis for what you are saying is sickening dude.
Delete@MeliticusBee I think you got it. She also says that her mom wasn't able to be around as much to no fault of her own, and that would make sense because her dad died in 2011, which would mean mom would have to spend more time with the other siblings and such. Les Mis had to be the production with the corsets. Promotion is going from the Descendants to Liv and Maddie as a lead.
ReplyDeleteDon't you get it? It's ALL of them. Duff, Bynes, Hart, Cameron, every star and co-star, every small role, even the extras. People do get cast by talent and matching the part on looks, but they know they're going to eventually get you and if they dont you are done in this town forever. I knew about the extras and higher ups. That goes way back. I didn't know the little guys were privy too. The camera men, grips, assistants, they all took advantage because they all knew what was happening

Is no one here skeptical of long and detailed blind items like this? How anyone can believe that this novel long blind item is anything but pure fiction is beyond me.
ReplyDeleteThe Qanon phenomena is pretty extraordinary. As you can see, there has been no worldwide panic. The people who would panic have a safety mechanism in their brain which prevents them from believing those things. Just like they're unable to believe this story, or any story on CDAN other than "she cheated on him" or "he cheated on her." To them that's the worst you can do in life, is cheat on your bf/gf/spouse. Everything like--murders, rapes, child rapes, is just make believe
ReplyDeleteI fear at some point we're are going to also hear a lot more stories from former & current young male actors too.
ReplyDeleteI believe it is far far harder for men & boys to come forward with these stories. In fact, I can count on just my 2 hands the number of male #MeToo stories I have heard (*so far*).
We already know about Anthony Rapp (in fact I personally knew something of this type of incident involving Rapp based on something cryptic Rapp said to a social media friend, (the friend is also a fellow male former child actor & costar in a film) a little over 10 years ago, though the specifics (who was the perpetrator, when & where it happened, etc) were withheld until last year (Kevin Spacey's downfall). But the implications of that post were Rapp was victimized & underaged at the time. That much came through loud & clear.
I'm also beginning to think some actors & actresses who got started working in the business at a young age as child actors & actresses or technically adults but very very young & inexperienced (like college undergraduate aged) who have reputations for 'being difficult' or are 'blacklisted' may have to do with either their parents or themselves saying 'no' to 'producers' & 'executives' of all stripes.
In fact this particular blind source's comment on the producer of a commercial & the company representative has me thinking back to a story Val Kilmer tells about one of his first jobs he lost as a tween: nothing sexual happened as Kilmer tells it, but he just couldn't fake/act enthusiasm for the food of a fast food restaurant in a commercial so he doesn't appear in the spot or the campaign. Kilmer was a tween at the time (this was before he went to high school or got accepted to Juiliard at 17).
I am also thinking of so many comments from adult actors & actresses who either discourage their own children or other people's from going into the business at all as children or delay their entry until they are older than say 16,18, or possibly have graduated from college. One big example I can cite is Vincent D'Onofrio. He emphatically would not allow his own eldest daughter to try acting until she was at least 18 & is on the record saying so (and I am sure he feels the same about his other younger sons with his current wife should they express an interest in acting at some point). Moreover Vincent looked out for his nephew (son of his actress sister Elizabeth, she didn't achieve a lot of monetary success in film or TV but she teaches acting classes & does community theater in Florida where she lives) when the nephew got into the business (I think the nephew either switched over to doing crew work or got out of the business altogether).
What we have learned since October of last year really makes you think. I feel for this young women providing us the stories of what has happened to her personally in these blinds.
It's not that I never want to see another media production given all the awfulness I am learning about, but I hope the disclosure of all these horrible incidents causes a great change for the better in the entertainment business rather than just shrinking it down but allowing the abusive behavior to continue unabated, especially where children are involved. I know I don't want to financially or otherwise support 'business as usual' in Hollywood.
This is DISNEY. If there's a big bucket of condoms being filled monthly, there's too much going on to NOT be noticed higher up. This doesn't need to be internet gossip, this needs to be headline news, complete with perp walks. THESE ARE JUST KIDS. They have no clue what the price of fame is, and the pimp/parents don't care. And it's going to keep happening until someone speaks up. For this girl it was alcohol to cope, what if another girl deals with it by slitting her wrists? Jesus will someone do the right thing?
ReplyDeletePaul Saint John is a peado sympathiser! - Wow. So if you wanted your dream job, but you had to take it up the arse, you'd do it?
ReplyDeleteI can see you got your dream job, Rosenthal:troll bot.
DeleteHilary Duff. She’s current A-/B and her first film was called True Women and looks like corsetts were involved in costuming
ReplyDeleteI also think this is Dove Cameron. I am hesitant to say this is Hilary Duff, because she has a net worth of $25 million and is still getting work. She has Younger as a TV show now which does very well. She is making enough money at this point where she could possibly walk away and be ok with Instagram endorsement deals for the rest of her life.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Melissa Gilbert?
