Back in the day this permanent A+++ lister had a ton of money from movies. He started a new venture though and put a ton of his own capital on the line. He thought it would be a massive money maker and he was right, but he was not right in the beginning. Lost to time is the memory that the A+++ lister was competing against an unknown doing the same thing and for much less money. The unknown was imaginative and had groundbreaking ideas. At first, the two spent some time talking, but when the A+++ lister realized his project was inferior, he stopped talking and started plotting the destruction of the other.
Our unknown soon had offices broken into and copies of designs stolen and the next thing you know, the same projects would be under construction at the site of the A+++ lister, but just under a different name. Whenever the unknown complained, the A+++ lister would literally send dozens of lawyers after the unknown and dozens of bribed government officials from multiple agencies to try and stop the unknown. He had the wife of the unknown followed and even had her sexually assaulted by a group of men to try and get the unknown from following through on his project.
None of it worked. The unknown completed the project and was far superior and a much bigger success than the project of the A+++ lister. It was huge. The whole world took notice and the A+++ lister was having none of it. He arranged for teams to infiltrate the project and damage as much as they could so visitors would get upset and not return. The A+++ lister spent every waking moment focused on taking the unknown down rather than improving his own lackluster product. After almost a decade of spending millions of dollars a year, the A+++ lister finally saw his work come true. The unknown was forced to sell to cover all the mounting debts and liens that the A+++ lister had arranged. At that point, the A+++ lister had the number one project and nobody has ever told the story about how he did everything he could illegally and immorally to make it happen. Now, it is one of the biggest brands in the world and generates billions of dollars in revenue annually.

Walt Disney/Disneyland/Santa's Village
I know about the dark side of Disney, but this kills my soul a bit, too. Obviously, the pedo blind reveals are worse... but this still sucks my soul a bit.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of Santa's Village until I read the original comments.
ReplyDeleteWalt Disney is roasting in Hell.
Bye Felicia
Think somebody got their revenge with Euro Disney, Paris - how many "refinancings"?
ReplyDeleteWhen do we get to see this movie? You'd think Comcast would find a way to have it made.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteStill solid with the idea that business rivals create debts and liens, not lenders and construction tradespeople. Well we already know you're not a real lawyer, but being that blatant about how little you understand is really stretching things past the breaking point.
Don't end up on 8ch like plot
DeleteEff the Mouse House and its propaganda.
ReplyDeleteAwww, that’s sad. Sucks to hear Disney reality vs legacy is so distorted. Here’s info I found about Santa’s Village even referencing opening 3 weeks before Disney.

I remember the commercials for Santas village but never went. We went to Disneyland or Knotts instead. Disneyland is No longer my desired destination.
ReplyDeleteIt's apparently been rebranded and is currently open.

Worth a look-see, if you ask me...
I used to love going to Santa's Village, I even visited when it had closed down and always regret having not purchased a giant mushroom or other set decoration when they were auctioned off.
ReplyDeleteThis one absolutely doesn't wash with history. At all. At no point was Santa's Village "superior" to Disneyland in any way. They were radically different projects with entirely unique focuses. You can't compare a Christmas theme park in the rural forests outside LA to a suburban theme park in the orange groves of Anaheim. What attractions were lifted? The storybook train??? Seriously?
ReplyDeleteLook at the list of opening day attractions at both parks and draw some lines. You won't have many.
Besides, the blind itself is nonsense. Santa's Village didn't close till 1998. Yes, it was sold in 1966, but not because it was failing, as it continued to run for decades. Every article I see says the "original investors" didn't go bankrupt till 1978...years after Disney's death.
Holland opened two other parks, and was expanding the original as late as 1963. It sounds to me like he overextended, and sought other investors in 1966 rather than sold outright. To compete with Disney? Maybe. Doubtful. The parks were very far away from one another, and Santa's Village was only year-round for a short time after it opened.
So yeah. This one? Fiction.
We need to realize how many sociopaths are in positions of power in business. There are many wonderful caring people in the business community who use their resources to benefit their employees/ the world for good but there are also those who are in it for the kicks. For the ego boost. For the feeling of power over others in society. To overcompensate for something missing ( a social/emotional conscience) with the acquisition of money and power. The sociopathic are often glib, funny, " charming " and refreshingly " honest". Scary stuff.
ReplyDeleteMessed up. Now people who read this & go to Disney Land might feel some type of way....
ReplyDelete@Poor Justin +1
ReplyDeleteDisneymonster. You all know the rumors. The man, the properties, the enormous multinational conglomerate with talons into almost every corner of the world and sinisterly synonymous with subversively sexualizing children and their entertainment.
ReplyDeleteThe book "Hollywood Babylon Strikes Again!" told the story of Walt Disney's "relationship" with Bobby Driscoll. It also originally made the claim that Charlton Heston was a bi-sexual lover of the young, which one of the recent reveals also said.
[ Might as well go on to note the book also has a segment claiming Marlon Brando had sex with his son Christian and daughter Cheyenne, which I think was at least a blind here at one point? Another chronicles the innumerable Hollywood celebrities who were gay prostitutes or bi-sexual prostitutes. Not every major star of the 60s and 70s but a lot, and yes both hunks from "Towering Inferno."]
And as a total non-sequitur but epic beyond all belief, let me at least ask the question here and claim the flag as one of the first: JFK, Jr.? Really? That would be the greatest Hollywood payoff of all time and the ultimate Trump card, a massive trolling. Standing ovation-worthy. May even let you put my picture up on the site. ;-)
Thanks. I just bought that book online 💥👍🏼

DeleteThanks.
One of the American tabloids claim JFK Jr. plane crash was a mob hit. Several years ago they claimed it was suicide.
@Ddonna Tarttty
ReplyDeleteThanks for telling us about the book!
An American tabloid claims the JFK Jr. plane crash was orchestrated by the mob.
A few years ago the rag mags claimed this was suicide.
In what universe was Santa's Village a better venue than Disneyland? Did you ever see photos of it? Third rate at best.
ReplyDeleteAnother stupid fake blind. Do some research. This one does not hold up to any scrutiny. Santa's Village was never a better park. It was out in San Bernandino and never going to get the traffic of Disneyland. Check out the pictures from back in the day. it was never even close to Disneyland in scale or quality. EVER!
