Blind Item #7

This foreign born permanent A+ list singer likes to think he is a God and that everyone comes to him and he delivers help to those in need. He is talking some kind of crap where he says he tried to help this other permanent A list singer prior to the death of that singer. One throwaway line of hey you should talk to my sponsor is not getting someone help or even really doing anything all that nice but he makes a huge deal of it and makes it all larger than life.

  2. At this point we really should be designing safer drugs, last sobriety is never going to be attainable for some people.

  3. Designing safer drugs is a noble pursuit but the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Heroin was in fact, designed by a Bayer chemist that was trying to create a less addictive version of morphine and at first they thought they succeeded and marketed it as such so everyone was taking heroin!

    Aaaaaaand here we are today.

    1. For clarity, it wasnt developed by Bayer, just picked up and sold as an over the counter safer alternative by them. They made it popular. It wasn't, of course, and created more addicts than Morphine straight.

  4. Bono warns that existence of UN, EU and NATO are threatened

    Associated PressJuly 3, 2018, 3:44 AM GMT

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — Irish rock star Bono warned Monday that the United Nations and other international institutions including the European Union and NATO are under threat — and nations must work together to ensure their continued existence.

The Dublin-born U2 singer and activist gave a sobering speech to several hundred U.N. diplomats and staff at an event launching Ireland's candidacy for a seat on the powerful Security Council in 2021-22 saying "you can count on Ireland to do its part in that work."

While Bono didn't name any countries responsible for threatening global institutions during these "troubled times," his words appeared clearly aimed at U.S. President Donald Trump, who has criticized the EU and NATO. The American leader has also pulled out of the Paris climate agreement which the singer cited, and taken aim at the World Trade Organization with new U.S. tariffs, an institution Bono said is also under threat.

But Bono isn't A+ he's B-List dadrock and an A-List Bond Villain so Elton.

  8. UN, EU and NATO=Globalists who want endless wars, terrorism, forced regime change, open borders and a World Economy fueled by slave labor.

"No more, no more"(War) God Bono is such a hypocrite..

  10. They wouldn't be under threat if they could stand on their own, but they've never shown much interest in that.

  11. Why is this even a blind? Elton merely said that he tried to help George, but that you cannot help someone who doesn't want to help themselves. WHY should he be demonized for saying something like this. It is 100% true. This is just plain mean spirited Entern!

  12. Elton was in the news for this yesterday -- permanent A+ list Drama Queen/Narcissist.

  14. It certainly sounds like that shamrock eating, short arsed, hat fetishising, cum gargling, pious Oirish gobshitter Bono. A tiny man with his head so far up his own arse that he can lick his own tongue.
If I never hear from this screeching, pontificating, two faced, platinum plated cockwomble again then I will day a marginally happier man.

    As for his 'band'?

Watch this, UK comedian Bill Bailey hit the nail squarely on the head:

  17. Haha U2 can't catch a break. Their big time is past, whatever helps them tread water now. Tread water, that's a strange expression, was Jesus treading on water, definitely wasn't jogging, not that he couldn't he was a fit guy, but definitely wasn't rushing.

  18. @Brayson.

Well Bono thinks he's tiny Jesus, so he'd be cool with that.

  19. U2 is O-ver.

"Songs of Experience" sold only 320K albums. 250K of those came with tickets to their live show.

Once upon a time, I loved them. Met Bono and The Edge, they were confident but self-effacing (this was before arena rock days). Later met Larry with others at a cafe in Paris, he was weirdly insecure.

Now, they are insufferable hypocrites. It's very bothersome because both those recent "Songs of...." albums were quite good.

  20. George Michael seemed determined to end up as another gay tragedy... There were many self destructive incidents, over a number of years. Elton is right. You can't help a person with a self-pitying, self-destructive streak.

  21. Bono, great rock vocalist, total CUNT SELLOUT as a human being - slit his throat from ear to ear...

  25. Unfortunately u2 is the highest grossing touring act which I guess is the reason bonobo feels he can make political proclamations. Ugh.
