This fired reality star from the long running/far reaching franchise thinks the cable network is going to give her a show. Nope. Plus, they believe that by the time her non-compete ends, no one will want her. The network is treating the year as kind of an informal suspension. If, after the year, they think she is worth another chance they will be able to get her at half the price and lock her in to a long term deal with very punitive terms which is how they like to do business.
