With a new movie coming out and new charges coming out too, this studio decided to play a little tit for tat so to speak. If this A-/B+ list mostly television actress was willing to do the whole ignorance thing, we never knew game that so many in Hollywood do about a disgraced former A list actor, then the studio could spin that into a few more bucks for a soon to open movie and give our actress a role in an upcoming movie with a nice fat salary. Mission accomplished.

How could she not know about his reputation? I know about it, and I literally don't know KS. I'm really tired of being taken for stupid by shitheels like her.

DeleteComplete bull! They’ve worked together on a show for 4-5 years together and she didn’t get to know him? Kevin was close with many cast members even Kate Mara who was there for one season. I’m very disappointed in Robin for not telling the truth. She definitely had to hear about what he was allegedly doing for decades even on the House of Cards set

DeleteIt’s got to be pretty easy to feign ignorance as his abuse is gender and age specific. Criteria which she doesn’t meet. Besides, it’s just gossip, right?? That stance is worth a few extra bucks.

ReplyDeleteSo sad. Never blame someone for watching out for number one but it was SO unnecessary. With the METOO movement and Spacey already vilified and ostracized I think she could easily have gotten plenty of work ELSEWHERE for outing bad behavior. It isn't like it is a secret. If anything it would make HER PERSONALLY look bad to admit she knew what was happening and didn't speak.
ReplyDeleteI think @Tricia13's 4th comment was close (that she is drawn to abusers) - she can't (or couldn't) break the cycle of domestic violence- but I ALSO bet that its all self preservation at this point- she spent several years with no work (while under Penn's fist) and I bet Girl isn't going back to being controlled and poor anymore.
ReplyDeleteROFL @ all of you for actually believing this bullshit. Billionaire Boys Club is an indie movie with a low budget. This was NOT produced by a big studio. The only reason its getting released is because the distributor would lose distributing rights & the fee they paid if they didn't release it. They'd rather release it & get some of their investment in return (because there are a lot of people who do want to see it) than not release it & lose all their money. You guys really need to stop drinking Enty's imagination kool aid.
