Blind Item #18 - Help Needed

OK. This blind item was from May. I lost my notes from it, which is not uncommon. When that happens, I usually go back and look at the comments and it triggers my memory. The thing is though, with the exception of the foreign born permanent A list model, nobody got the right answer. All I remember is that I'm pretty sure the wedding took place in France. So, maybe together we can get this figured out. I also seem to recall the wedding he busted up was something we all follow on the site. I think.

So, here it is from May 15, 2018. Click on the date to read the original guesses.

What do you get when you cross a business trip with a personal trip with an upcoming marriage? You get a lot of lies, broken hearts and some really messed up situations. This A+ list power broker has been in the news a lot this past week. During that crazy week, not only did he cheat on the at the time A- list mostly movie actress he was supposed to marry, he also had sex with another soon to be bride and busted up a third relationship by hooking up with an ex who was dating an at the time A- list mostly movie actor.

Of course our power broker tried to hide all of this, but even he couldn't keep up with the web of lies and trail of used hotel suites he was maintaining all that weekend. The A- list mostly movie actor got back at his girlfriend by hooking up one night with this foreign born permanent A+ list model. The A- list mostly movie actress? She never recovered. It broke her heart forever.

  18. @Guesser, not really because that makes no sense, but then what's the game? Couldn't reveal this one for reasons, but wanted to draw attention to it anyway? Maybe there's something coming out currently that sheds more light on it, or the reverse.

  19. thanks for that link @john doe, I miss usenet newsgroups, those were the days!! lol

  20. I think this was a game,it was going to be revealed, but didn't because of the Cornell connection. The hint about the wedding in France wasn't in the blind, and the A+ rating threw people off. I started guessing backwards because I assumed the actress was dead. Brittany Murphy fit perfectly, the rest filled in. But by then,It was guessed.

AWESOME explanation! Thanks for taking the time to write that out.

It bears mentioning that Enty also does a lot of photo assumption from other websites (the DM being his major source) about folks who will never, ever, be a part of the chickenfeed game. Either they are too big or too busy to give a single shit what is said here. These are the ones that Enty straight up lies about, a lot.

  25. @Aimless, lemme guess, you work for TMZ and are bitter AF that CDAN is the BETTER of celebrity sites? TMZ is a creepy POS deep state owned media piss pot. WHO CARES where Enty gets his blinds as long as he tosses in truth with the fantasy. That's half the fun of this site. Who knows who the commenters are?! I suspect many are "real" as I am, others joined in during the Weinstein blow out, and others are shills from who knows where. I don't give a flying fuck!

I believe that we already know and understand what you had to post as your dissertation. Point is, we have fun, and there's a LOT I've learned over the years here. Nothing can distract from the fact that Hollywood is a cesspool of filth, however, I enjoy learning about it! Stop being such a Debbie Downer and crawl back under your rock. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  26. The blind is recent, but the events are old.
Confusion stems from Enty stating that the man in question was "in the news a lot this past week" then, in typical Enty fashion, talks about a PREVIOUS week when all the debauchery occurred. (The original title was "One Crazy Week".)
Plus he describes people as "A- list at the time" which he would not do if "at the time" was last week.

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Bliss

"Nothing can distract from the fact that Hollywood is a cesspool of filth"

All of it? I don't think so. Of course, Mr. Enty is mostly sick with jealousy that he never made it, never was much of a playah, so that is exactly what he would have you think for his own benefit.

I did see your screen shots. Thanks for sharing. Geffen was revealed long enough to be noticed by the alert but not long enough to make it to Google's archiving process, let alone a Wayback machine archiving. It's part of the techie knowledge you need to run a good iShakedown.

It's kind of like pointing a gun at someone, then relaxing and saying "but we can work this out". You just do it in cyberspace is all.

I wonder how often that is the case, because I suspect it is pretty often which substantially undermines any claims of credibitly this site has.

Gossip sites don't have credibility so much as the threat of starting a snowball effect. Therefore the game is to parlay something that's petty chickenfeed into something more valuable to someone who does care about credibility and pays for help, and taking it as far up the line of high value as the swaps can go.

The snowballing depends upon playing to biases, prejudices and antipathies of a defined demographic. There's a strong US/Euro/(elsewhere) demographic that would love a story about a *rich faggot jew* mogul actually doing stuff so vile it is okay to openly hate him and hurl insults at him, or worse. The mogul is a perfect target in the eyes of that demographic. An odd demographic to cater to, but that demographic gobbles up Rense and Jones type conspiracy stuff, and that demographic has money to spend, endless hours at a computer to click upon bait, etc. Of course, he COULD actually be doing nasty stuff, but don't expect proof of it here.

"Either make me happy in a way that folds, Mr. Mogul, or I'll make the money from my site's drawing power by taking this all the way." That's the game being played here, and why the Enty sockpuppet calling itself "Geeljire" isn't enjoying the beach like he said he would be doing.

    1. Thanks for the added bit of context, I figured what I saw was akin to a tweet and delete and I was lucky enough to capture it, but I didn’t quite understand the ‘why’ of it all.

Seems like ‘Enty’ and Geffen are either playing cat and mouse or they’re on the same side trying to pick off common enemies. Or both, I guess?

      Delete
  33. The Enty "shenanigans" are not new, or unique to the site. The changed answer is like deleting a tweet it is out there, someone saw it, but the "correction" is what is found. Go with your gut which is the right answer. @ Aimless Spectator, why are you sounding like @plot? To compare Enty to TMZ in any way is pointless, people pay or get paid with TMZ because they are owned by a media giant. Positive stories about Chris Brown, endless promotion for the Kardashian family, blackmailing Justin Bieber, unknown Rappers making headlines. Enty's bread is buttered by blinds and reveals. Not every story is real, but he has always let us call B.S. on him. That is one of the reasons people come back, including you, apparently.

    1. I definitely didn’t think it was unique, I was simply surprised that more of the commentariat harp or it given it involves the ‘big bad wolf’ so to speak.

Usually if someone captures screenshots of a tweet and delete people react/respond.

    2. *didnt harp on it

  34. @Easy peasy, I know you aren't a shill, but trust, this was intended on Enty's part. I think we know the right answer. It may just have gone unnoticed because of the volume of reveals, people are catching on just now.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Agreed on all counts, @Guesser

I knew immediately that there was no way that it was a mistake, I just wanted to know what. I felt like I saw behind the curtain but not knowledgeable enough to understand the significance of what I saw

    ReplyDelete
  36. @Easy peasy,Geffen has to be aware of this, and regardless of how much is true, enough is to put Enty in a bind,at the very least. Geffen is a very wealthy and powerful man, Enty is not. I wonder if Enty recently aligning himself with some power brokers is a wall of protection. The only thing keeping Geffen from shutting this or other sites down is that it would draw more attention to his actions. Personally,I think he will be caught by a money trail, not sexual behavior.I have wanted to mention this somewhere,Geffen has sold artwork at the highest price anywhere,a known money laundering scam. Sorry for the long post, but I think this should be out there.

  37. @Guesser- If he’s still involved with MCR and Brock Pierce, then the big crypto con they’re all working on could be the opening that you’re describing.

  40. @Aimless Spectator,I have agreed with you on the confidentiality breachs, but that goes to even "legit"media, who have exploited this. They only way it stops is for consequences to be had if one does this. A fellow addict is not likely to not shop the story around.

  43. Hollywood stunned by star agent's 'gay mafia' slur

    Lawrence Donegan in San Francisco

    Sun 7 Jul 2002 00.00 EDT

If there's one thing the denizens of Hollywood's film industry relish more than their own success, it is watching someone else's career disappear into the abyss. And when that someone else made his reputation and fortune by steam-rollering anyone who stood between him and his ambitions, then stand by for some serious gloating.

So it has been since details of a sensational interview given by Michael Ovitz to the magazine Vanity Fair started to leak out at the beginning of last week. Once known as The Most Powerful Man in Hollywood, Ovitz no longer wields the influence he did as the head of the Creative Artists Agency during the Eighties and early Nineties.

Successive failures - first as the number two at Disney and then as head of his own management company, which acted for Leonardo DiCaprio and Cameron Diaz - saw his reputation decline so far that he finally sold out in May to a relatively unknown rock management company for $12 million. His enemies - and there were many - celebrated.
