Apparently though, the matriarch believes in racial purity and won't let her daughter date anyone who is not as white as white can be.

ReplyDeleteAs for the blind, plenty of Black people are against miscegenation. People should date who they wish, whether Black, White, Hispanic, Asian. It doesn't matter.
Oh and Brayson, White skin will tan in sunlight. A White person with a tan, fake or otherwise, isn't a hypocrite for not wanting their children to date outside of their own ethnicity.
SD Auntie, both Italians and Spaniards are White. Both Italy and Spain are European. Not all White people are blonde, blue eyed and pale.
Greeks are considered people of colour.

ReplyDeleteAm guessing it's not Reese/Ava because Reese arranged one of those old-fashioned "coming out" at some debutante ball for the rich and famous and Ava's date was, I think Indian(?) (and had a title). I think it is a good bet that Reese controlled everything about that night.
ReplyDeleteSo? I know plenty of black people, whose parents would freak if they didn't date a black guy. It's all preference. I'm white...and I'm attracted to white and hispanic guys. I don't find black guys attractive. I don't find Asian guys attractive either. Just how I feel.
