I saw Depp at the Black Mass premiere and he was bloated and approaching Tammy Faye territory with his makeup. Interesting that he looks kinda gaunt here.

ReplyDeleteDepp is playing a terminally ill man in his next movie. Yes, he's pale and thin, but he doesn't look "fugly" to me. When he was tanned and healthy, you all derided him for that too. It's sad how shallow people can be.

ReplyDeleteI love you Johnny, but you're going to die this year. Point blank, that's my prediction if you don't get some serious help. His "terminally ill" movie was shot last year. He looks awful now either due to illness or most likely drugs/booze. He looks pretty meth-y here. His skin looks sallow. A hot mess and not a man who's doing well. I hope he makes the right decision, but I doubt it. The Succubus tore it out of him, his heart. He's dead behind the eyes now.
He's morphed into Hunter S. Thompson, and we know how that ended.

ReplyDeleteBoo, the film "Richard Says Goodbye" in which Depp plays a terminally ill man is still in post production. If they need to reshoot scenes then he has to, for continuity reasons, keep up his gaunt appearance. However, I don't disagree with your opinion that he's not in good health. He has had an extremely shitty couple of years and he has hit the booze and drugs hard. Yes, I too have said that he will almost certainly die this year or the next if he doesn't get help. The witch hunt against him which started after Heard's bullshit (who actually was arrested for DV) and his joke about Trump at Glastonbury has been sad to watch.
