Street walker convention?? As I said already, this is NOT country. you have a few, very few singers today that are real country and look somewhat country (I am talking about you Carrie ;) ) I have not listened to a country song in probably 10 years, but i used to be a fan, George Straight, Barbara Mandrell, Tanya, Reba, Martina, Willie and Waylon and Bocephus. I will stick with my metal, at least I know what I am getting there.
As a lifelong fan of country music, the trends I've seen over the last two decades make me want to scream. I get that adding a little edge helps crossover and bring in more fans, thus profit...but for real...does no one have any class anymore? These award shows and red carpets have become more like who can look the most ridiculous while wearing the least amount of fabric. I'm not a prude in any way but I just don't get it.
i have no idea who kaitlyn doubleday is, but if my mom was alive, she'd tell her to STAND UP STRAIGHT. good lord.
ReplyDeleteCountry stars have the most adventurous outfits, other award shows make me want to snore.
ReplyDeleteMine, too, nancer and give you a good thump between the shoulder blades for good measure. She despised slouching.
ReplyDeleteDon't any C&W people know how to SPELL? These names are atrocious...
ReplyDeleteThe Little Big Town people need to take their stylist out into the woods and have a hunting accident with a ball peen hammer.
