One thing this A list mostly movie actress who is an Oscar winner/nominee always forgets to bring up when reminiscing about her college years is how she used all that fame of hers to get men and women to do most of her homework for her.
Natalie Portman
One thing this A list mostly movie actress who is an Oscar winner/nominee always forgets to bring up when reminiscing about her college years is how she used all that fame of hers to get men and women to do most of her homework for her.
Natalie Portman
That's wrong Natalie!
ReplyDeleteI respect that hussle.
ReplyDeleteNo way. I am sure she aced the SAT and got into Harvard on her own, even if her name was Natalie Smith.
ReplyDeleteI don't get the amazing level of lack of self-awareness on the part of celebs. Her recent trashing of Jared Kushner was just so petty.
Have a fun life as a beard you miserable hag.
What does her level of intelligence have to do with her trashing Jared?... Jared went to Harvard too and he’s a damn moron.
DeleteWhy do people insist that movie stars like Natalie Portman and James Franco can’t make it in an Ivy League school. Have you heard them speak ? They’re both extremely intelligent people .
ReplyDelete1+
ReplyDeleteAnd how is she exactly a "miserable hag?"
@Christine Sokolof, Franco rarely went to classes was photographed napping during lectures. Colleges give
ReplyDeletecelebrities credit for their life experience, others don't get that opportunity. They may be intelligent enough, but most don't do the work. Someone like Jody Foster may be a exception.
Guesser's got it.
ReplyDeleteBack in the day Ethan Hawke had to drop out of Carnegie Mellon to do Dead Poet's Society while Blair Underwood was awarded a lot of independent study credit for his years on LA Law (& rumor has it Stephen Bochco pulled strings for Underwood to make that happen, half the cast of LA Law were CMU alums & perhaps Bochco threatened not to donate any more money to CMU). CMU Drama used to have a 'no professional work while in school' rule but it was somehow an exception was made for Underwood.
I went to college with an NFL quarterback and he was in three of my classes, did nothing, made Dean's list. I'm sure it's the same for celebrities.
ReplyDeleteCollege athletes get special treatment because they bring in revenue for schools. This is especially true in football and basketball, somewhat baseball. They don't go to class.
ReplyDeleteI doubt Portman is miserable, nor is she a hag. Don't say anything about the current WH admin or your just an old miserable, meanie!!! Whatever....
ReplyDeleteBeing attractive, charismatic, and trained to speak well into a camera is not the same thing as intelligence, though some people do a good job of selling it as such.
ReplyDeleteIf I were super smart, a top leading actress busy making movies and able to get Jim Bob and Peggy Sue to do some of my work, why not? Its not like she's going to actually USE her degree. Sure, why go to college if you're not actually going to LEARN, but she doesn't care about the cost of tuition and probably couldn't attend like a normal student. She's not hurting anyone, just herself with the real truth, but as ya'll know these celebs live in a different world than we do.
ReplyDeleteShe's not molesting children or trafficking humans, I'm okay with this reveal.
Back in college my friends weren't movie stars or football players and they still had people doing their homework. Shit this even happened in high school.
ReplyDeleteThe real gossip you should be spilling Ent is how the f--k did Kushner get into that university.
ReplyDeleteCan't remember the name of the book, but I once read one where the "anonymous" author was a Hollywood insider that very thinly "veiled" the stars she wrote about. One thing that she made clear and obvious was that Natalie Portman's mother did everything possible to keep her daughter from experiencing the "casting couch" treatment.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all where is the proof that she had other people do her home work. Pretty sure she was not making any movies during that time frame. Where was the accusations when other child stars went to Ivy League school.
ReplyDeleteUnlike Jared "86 attempts to fill out a disclosure form and Dad in Law had to give me a special exemption to get security clearance over a year later though i gradudated from Law School" Kushner, Portman clearly knows how to read and is articulate. And I am sure Portman did not have a Daddy like Baby Boy Kushner who gave a very large contribution to the university unless someone has proof of that. Of course we could agree Kushner is a liar and probably a chip off his corrupt old man's block. At least his daddy is out of jail. Maybe Jared will indeed follow in his footsteps.
so she didn't sign the polanski petition ?
ReplyDeleteThat bitch. And I suffered through Lit Hum and Contemporary Civilization on my own. #columbiacollegerefugee
ReplyDeleteWho cares
