Blind Items Revealed #1

May 26, 2018

This foreign born A+ list singer is having no part of the press tour of this movie. She is planning to show up at a premiere or two, but says her commitment to the film stops at acting.

Rihanna/Ocean's 8

  1. I don't blame her, but if her contract includes promoting it, she's gotta do it or get sued.

  2. As I get older I'm much more of a Rihanna fan

  3. I'm even more pumped for this turd of a movie than I was for Ghostbusters.

  4. This movie is going to flop anyway (if not commercially then critically), so I don't blame her for not wanting to have anything to do with it.

  5. Boy the stench around this movie is heavier than anything in a while. Run Rhi-Rhi, run!

I don't think she's much of an actress, though. Terrible in "Valerian." But then again, so was everybody. Probably the worst acted massively budgeted sci-fi movie ev....oh, did somebody say "Attack of the Clones"? I stand corrected.

  6. So what about "work, work, work, work, work work, etc"

  7. Be honest, who would ever hear that Rihanna is in a film and think it would be any good?? It's not going to be critically acclaimed is it?

  8. Monique did the same thing, and now tries to get ppl to boycot Netflix, cause no one will hire her and she is back to trying to do comedy specials.

Rhi better hope her make up continues to do well.

  9. "Wooden" would have been a step up for her in "Valerian." Sorry!

The best part of that movie was how beautiful it was to look at. I saw it multiple times in the theater, even as it was bombing, because it was so gorgeous. The first half hour in "Big Market" was so good.

  10. This is one film I want to see in the theater and not on-line. A wonderful concept and fabulous cast of talented women. In the trailer, Sandra & Cate are eating at Veselka, a much loved Ukranian place in the East Village. They make a mean Beef Stroganof.(sic). Want to go back before I return to Santa Fe. After the movie comes out, sadly, it will be packed to the rafters with lookie-loos. Love that place.

  11. It is debatable whether Rihanna's contribution to any movie can actually be described as "acting".

Valerian: Cara Delevigne is the kiss of death for anything she's involved in.

  12. I'd quite like to see this movie, I love all the actresses. I liked Rihanna in 'Battleship' - everyone I know slags off that movie, but I love it for the action sequences & soundtrack, and the Japanese Captain is really cute!
Hi@ Boo Hearne *waving to you, wearing a big smile*, it's so good to see you back! Hope your move to Santa Fe went well and hope you are around here a while longer x

  13. Hello Kimberley: I think about all of you posters from CDAN a lot. I hope you are feeling much better than the last time I posted a few months ago. Santa Fe is a state-of-mind. It takes some getting used to if you've spent years hopping on a Subway train to get where you want to go. In NYC I stepped in dog doo. In Santa Fe I step on crispy critters that would love to sting me to death. That said, the Sunsets and Sunrises take your breath away and you can actually see the Stars! So glad to hear from you. Big hugs.

  14. I am the only person on the planet that enjoyed Valerian?!
