It is not just a bearding thing for this foreign born A- list mostly television actress. This week it also became clear that she is using him for cover so she can meet with a very wealthy man who, if caught, can say she has a boyfriend so it was all perfectly platonic.

I'd say she's B List since most people don't know her like they'd know an A List person, such as Angelina Jolie, and she's not top billed or even billed at all in American movies, such as Baywatch. I was wondering why she wanted him to go to India. The story that it was to just meet her mom made no sense because her mom was just in New York several days ago, so if she wanted Nick to meet her, he could have just flown to NY, or they could have flown for the day to Los Angeles. It's much easier then half way around the world to a filthy country with malaria and typhoid. What's she getting from the wealthy business man? Jobs or an affair?

DeleteI agree with the other posters Pryianka Chopra is NOT A list in the United States she is probably a B or even C+ in America. She is a huge star in Asia though specifically in India. I can see why she would beard for Nick Jonas she wants a bigger profile in America and dating a young white star with a lot of younger fans expands her brand. Nick Jonas gets to look straight she gets to reach a new audience. A win for both of them. I do agree about India's harsh treatment of women it could be another reason why she is trying to break free from Bollywood. She is very ambitious and I wish her well.

I guess she's killing two birds with one stone with this pr relationship. Increasing her American fan base and getting a decoy for another one of her adulterous affairs.

How long will the bearding last? So far, it hasn't helped Nick's career at all because his new song still isn't being played on radio and isn't charting on Billboard. It's over a month old, so it's another flop. He filmed a TV game show, but there's really no reason to keep up a fake relationship. First, women don't want to see him dating another woman. It's more appealing to see him single and have groupie potential. In fact, he'd probably be more popular if he did a real or fake relationship with a man. He lost a lot of his male fans over them feeling he was queerbating, and he lost the gay bars playing his songs. Gay clubs steer a lot of popular music, so his career isn't doing well. The label should know this, but maybe the management isn't smart enough to be clued in.
