@Plot - Reiki isn't actually massage, it is energy work, more specifically Universal Life Force work. There's a reason Harvard and other top schools in the country have researched it and offer it: it works. Mainstream hospitals and medical practices are recognizing the benefits of the practice and incorporating it, with great success for the patients. Just because you haven't experienced something firsthand doesn't mean it doesn't exist or doesn't work.

I could be wrong, but the studies about Reiki were more general in that they studied the efficacy of "touching" therapies overall compared to none after surgery.
What I'm reading right this second is that the studies about Reiki itself have suffered from extremely flawed methodologies.
It could work, who knows. But Ms. Oz promotes the superiority of energy work over traditional medicine to the point of being an antivaxer. That's the lunacy of one individual seeking power not an authoritative source.
Well I will, say that my cat and dog both love their Reiki roller massages, no going back to the old pats now and they have no axe to grind or stuff to sell.
At the rate she's going I doubt she ever will. And I bet she insists that Michael didn't fulfill his end of the bargain by getting her a TV spot in exchange for a divorce.
