Blind Item #5
He used to be one of the edgiest comedians around and was headed for permanent A+ list status. Now, he is still an A list comic but has lost his edge and is more interested in corporate paychecks and groping as many women during meet and greets as possible until someone says yes. Back in the day he cheated on his wife with fans and A list celebrities. Now, half the time he has to pay the fan to be with him when he cheats on his current significant other.
Louis CK?
ReplyDeleteKevin Hart?
ReplyDeleteD.L. Hughley
ReplyDeleteHUghley or Hart.
ReplyDeleteChapelle
ReplyDeleteAndrew Dice Clay
ReplyDeleteThis describes literally dozens of working comics on the circuit right now.
ReplyDeleteAnother fake blind, that will never have 'reveal'
I think Tricia got it with that POS .
ReplyDeleteHe was surprisingly poignant/decent as an actor in Blue Jasmine....strange as that sounds lol
DeleteWhat’s crazy is I just watched the movie last night! Netflix added it yesterday and t was EVERYTHING! He’s a great actor, if this blind is about him I’m going to be sad
Delete@Unknown Great film-one of his only recent ones and that’s all I can say remotely good about woody Allen lol
Delete@DoTell-it was cancelled
Same.. I felt guilty watching because of Pedo Allen but it was a really great movie
DeleteDoesn't Dice still have his Showtime sitcom?
ReplyDeleteTricia nailed it! His sitcom cancelled.
ReplyDeleteI see they recently cancelled it. But then wouldn't it be someone who was taking corporate gigs for a lot longer?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Tricia13 is right (one would be silly to vote against her), but.....Dice doing corporate gigs? In this day and age, I can't imagine a corporation wanting to be within 100 miles of him.

ReplyDeleteit isn't Andy Dick
ReplyDeleteHere is Ben Stillers profile for corporate event bookings
ReplyDeletehttp://www.celebritytalent.net/sampletalent/3459/ben-stiller/
"To learn more on how to hire Ben Stiller or to get availability and pricing on booking Ben Stiller for a corporate event, fundraising event, private party, corporate performance, tradeshow entertainer, endorsement campaign, or as a speaker at a function, please submit this form to our agency"
This could fit Chris Rock also.
ReplyDeleteTBH most comics lose their edge at 40. Its prob easier to list the exceptions like Carlin or Joan Rivers
ReplyDeleteandrew dice clay is in that upcoming film w/bcoop & gaga, a star is born. sooooo weird. I saw his name listed and was like, dafuq?
ReplyDeleteCorporations don't hire Dice. "The owners wife.....I f$cked her ohhhhhh" not likely
ReplyDeleteChris Rock? The new Kanye song references his affairs
ReplyDeleteCk, Hughley, Hart, Rock or Hart are not edgy. If you need to understand edgy in terms of comedy, look no further than Bill Hicks, Pryor, or Carlin.
ReplyDeleteHicks would be the edgiest being his complete disregard and lack of concern for the audience.
This doesn't sound like Dice.
ReplyDeleteIf you are a true fan of stand-up comedy Dice will forever be A+ list. He sold out MSG multiple times when no other comedian could.
I don’t think it has to be a corporate comedy gig, could’t it also be corporate sponsorship of a comedian’s shows/projects or a comedy event w/corporate sponsors? Paychecks, meet and greets tied to all of those.
ReplyDeleteBill Hicks, Pryor, and Carlin are all dead, so this isn't about any of them.
ReplyDeleteIs T.J. Miller considered "edgy"? ... By all accounts he's a total creep who could fit this description.
ReplyDeleteHe centered his non-apology-apology-statement around his wife, which was telling.
Marc Maron
ReplyDeleteI was fortunate to see bill hicks live in his prime, like f***ing elvis on stage. No other comic comperes.
