This one is a certain boy wizard and his one-time co-star. The breakout part was on a place-named drama.
Here it is:
Some of his friends are worried about this A list child actor turned adult actor, known mostly for movies. Because of his own abuse, no doubt, he's been acting out, stripping and dancing naked at parties in LA, New York, and the capital city of his native country. (Just think of that one role in a different medium.) Hosts know now to keep the curtains drawn because of the paps, and have instituted a two drink limit for him.
Who told me? This other actor, who is his peer and one time co-star. (He reached me through my agent, who my forthcoming director helped me to sign with. A certain novelist/screenwriter played a role too - they're all with this one agency - as he's likely to present the forward in "the Dancing Boy: A Hollywood Story" [it's kind of in the form of a book, with front matter, the body, and end matter]. Given our parallel life experiences - growing up in the same world, basically, and attending rival schools and similar colleges [he had a sometimes abusive father too], not to mention writing about sometimes similar themes [albeit in a different way] - he's given me a nickname: **** Jr.)
He contacted me because of similar experiences we had. Interesting not just the semi-nudity of his big role in this independent drama, but the fact that his character seems actually to want what happens to him. Both actors are 80s born.
The anonymized names are the parts they played in their breakout roles.

I got lost in the third paragraph.
ReplyDeleteDudes from Harry Potter
ReplyDeleteRadcliffe/Grint/JK Rowlings
DeleteSo I guess it’s Naked London?
DeleteThe Queen would be so proud:(
Daniel Radcliffe (naked role in different Medium: Equus)
ReplyDeleteCo-star: Rupert Grint
Radcliffe really fell hard after Harry Potter. It’s unfortunate, I think that’s all he will ever be known as.
ReplyDeleteDaniel Radcliff and his horsey movie 🐴
ReplyDeleteRadcliffe was also nude in Kill Your Darlings, the indie drama about Allen Ginsburg.
ReplyDeleteMichael C Hall for the person who played the character who "actually wants what happens to him" refers to a character in KYD who asks his lover to stab and kill him.
Michael C Hall wasn't born in the 80s though. Ben Foster and Dane DeHaan were, though.

ReplyDeleteDeHaan played the lover who killed the guy. There are plot twists to it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it could refer Radcliffe's role cause he writes about the love killing for a school project and he has to choose between being expelled or writing on a different subject, and he chooses expulsion.
Definitely Daniel Radcliffe. All reports are that he’s a happy drunk though. I also suspect that he has a decent support system that will prevent him from going full Culkin.
ReplyDeleteDaniel Radcliffe who needs to get away from his asshole controlling father, the ex-ICM London agent who quit to exploit DR fulltime.
ReplyDeleteDane Dehaan for the costar. His "place-named" breakout role was "The PLACE Beyond the Pines"
ReplyDeleteAnd you can't really say that Daniel Radcliffe fell hard following Harry Potter; he fell during the series. He was blackout drunk during all of the 6th movie. And it shows.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame that he's fallen off the wagon. He's incredibly talented. His performance in "Swiss Army Man" was brilliant.
I also love how in yesterday's DB blind, a commenter complained about gratuitous parentheses. So DB doubled down and added brackets this time. Lolololol never change, DB.
Daniel Radcliffe starred in the Broadway revival show "How To Succeed In Business". I saw the show and he was terrific in it. Frankly I was shocked to see how talented and good he was. He really does have talent, he just need to be in the right vehicle to display it. I got no clue about the other person.
ReplyDeleteI always thought Radcliffe shifted from childrens roles to adult roles quite well, and he picks intelligent interesting projects, so kudos to him for having some fun
ReplyDeleteThere is this A+ but no longer double threat actor, well known for both TV (BTW, I'm writing a pilot) and movies (just hired my director EXCITED!).
ReplyDeleteHe and his ex happened to meet up at the Oak Bar recently (whatever happened to the gal whose mother worked the Plaza?).
Something happened there, a falling out or shouting or the martini olive wasn't stuffed with blue cheese like she had ordered, and then across the street by Bloomingdale's (pre-order my book, "Me, Me and a Bit More About Me! A Life" info soon!) and then they went their separate ways.
You know them both.
The actor/ screenwriter with the same agent is Bret Easton Ellis, who he's name dropped before.
ReplyDeleteI meant novelist, not actor. Whoops.
DeleteThis A list musician was spotted drinking a certain A+ list beverage at the same time and in the same country that a Z list nobody who isn't famous so doesn't matter in life, was murdered. Dancing Boy was never a suspect but is making a movie based on his life that nobody will pay to see but is trying to sign endorsement deals that would make Yogurt, Pizza the Hut and Dark Helmet blush.
ReplyDeleteThe 3 3/4" action figure line for the Dancing Boy movie will be produced for Poundland and Dollar Tree stores in the line and consists of this B- list actor from commercials we have all seen and a very short lived sitcom based on said commercials. The figures will feature such scenes from the movie as "Crossing the Street Dancing Boy", "Single Handed Winning WWII Dancing Boy" and playsets such as "Would You Like Fries With That Drive Through Adventure Set" and "Bathhouse Torah Reading (with Ninja Attack Action!) Set".
As for our actor drinking his beverage, he plays no role in "Dancing Boy: Or How I Learned to Scam Studios From A Movie Based on a play by a permanent A List Director known for His Comedic Parodies: The Musical Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire." but I saw him once and it was really cool.
As for the murder of the nobody? Be sure to check out my next film, "Untitled True Crime FIlm: TBA" to find out how an A list actor and his reality show beard play absolutely no role in anything involving the victim or their family.
Who hurt you?

ReplyDeleteDaniel Radcliffe and Robert Pattinson (he was in one of the harry potter films)
ReplyDeleteand both Robert Pattinson and Bret Easton Ellis are with the Curtis Brown Agency
ReplyDelete@RowdyRodimus I like the way you think.
ReplyDeleteEveryone ignored the fact that Dancing Boy stated the actor was acting out because of past abuse. I like the guess of Robert Pattinson because it said one time costar, and the clue about the agent. Daniel may be a happy drunk for now,but as he gets older it will catch up with him. Personally I would love to see the Dancing Boy movie, but yes,a script doctor is in order.
ReplyDelete@Geeljire “Dancing Boy Cinematic Universe”.
ReplyDeleteLMFAO
And here is where I start calling bullshit on Enty and all the dancing boy blinds. NO way in hell is Daniel Radcliffe the subject of this blind. OR Rupert Grint.
ReplyDeleteits all bullshit. and bad bullshit.
