Yes it's got to be Mark Steines. First of all he was abruptly fired when he had time still left on his contract. Also an updated story on Deadline said that the Hallmark Channel had removed every single reference or image of him from the Hallmark Channel webpage. To me that means some type of imminent scandal. There are plenty of actors who have been on shows, who for one reason or another decided to leave the show, but the show doesn't delete every image or mention of them. It sounds like Hallmark is trying to distance itself from a scandal before it reaches mainstream media.
