This former A list mostly television actor turned A- list mostly movie actor with a nice easy gig on almost television show is back boozing again. He was a mess at a recent event.
Aziz Ansari? (Not that I've ever heard he was a drunk but he lusts after the wrong women so maybe he drinks to kill the heartbreak). If not I'll buy Hammaconda.
@Amy Matthew was a tween/teen actor back in the day, alongside Johnny, River, Corey, etc... surely he's seen some things, like a casting couch or three.
You're right @sara. I remember him in a teen film with Alyssa Millano. I associate him so much with 'Friends' that I forget. He definitely must have experienced the abuse in some way.
Jon Hamm is that person where I just shake my head and cannot figure out why he has a career. One dimensional on Mad Men, not to mention greasy. Maybe he appeals to women who have no self esteem. Even his name is unappealing.
I'm going with the Hamm - and I agree with the negative assessments of his acting abilities - I could not make it through a single episode of 'Mad Men' without tuning out due to crushing boredom despite all the gushing about the show in the media at the time. And Jon Hamm just reminds me of that guy that chicks in grade 8 think is really good looking, but in the locker room you see he has a paunch, hair shoulders, and a small d*ck...
Jon Hamm was spectacularly handsome in his early prime "Mad Men" years and remains good looking now even as his self-abuse is wearing him down. He is also a versatile actor, who has a light comedic touch when given the opportunity. Haven't seen many of his movies, but he was quite good, I thought, in "Beirut" and "Baby Driver."
Wish he would clean up his act, because I think he could be a HUGE movie star. Maybe he's sick of the gig?
Jon Hamm?
ReplyDeleteMatthew Perry?

ReplyDelete+1 MissBliss. The almost TV show would be Kimmy Schmidt.

ReplyDeleteJohn Goodman is not a boozer.
ReplyDeleteJon Hamm is like Don Draper in real life?
ReplyDeleteWorse
DeleteInstantly thought Matthew Perry. What is his back story? He has a lot of demons.
ReplyDelete@Amy

It's Hamm. Perry was never A- movie and certainly isn't now.
ReplyDeleteYou're right. It is Hamm. Matthew Perry only did a few moderate films after Friends. Not A list movie star in any way, even then.
DeleteSome people run on whiskey.
ReplyDeletehammaconda looked WREKT at an event. So. Drunk. obvious in the photos
ReplyDeleteAfter reading CDAN for the last few years, if that is his only addiction..he still close to perfect in my old eyes

ReplyDeleteWith that face and huge junk, he is not an 8th grade fantasy. That would be Sean Cassidy or some other pretty boy. Hamm is the man!
DeleteIf this is Jon Hamm that makes me very sad. I met him last October and he was surprisingly very nice and polite. He was also sober. Hope he recovers.
ReplyDeleteHamm's easy almost TV gig is Good Omens on Amazon Prime. It's a short run series with a large cast, so it can't be too taxing.
