Apparently the powers that be that run this very flash in the pan A list rapper's life have decided they want her to take a hard turn toward mainstream and move her from rapping to acting. She is all about the fame and making it last and rapping is not going to be it. Over the next six to nine months, with a month off there somewhere look for her to be in every place you would never expect to see a rapper. Her people have called it the Transformation of ______ _ using the first letter of each word as a shorthand.

This is actually a brilliant move by her people. Whether it works or not is another thing, but it's almost guaranteed that Cardi B's rap career will be on life support by the time her second album comes out. It's pretty mindblowing how fast rap fans turn nobodies into stars and then into yesterday's news. At least this gives her a fighting shot at a career lasting longer than a year.
