the age of consent in russia is 16, so even tho this is gross, its legal. still...
As 16 is also legal in many US states as well as at the US Federal level (ie: on US military bases, embassies, etc throughout the world). I dont agree with it... but, it is the age.
DeleteI also believe that there was a law passed (or at least attempted) to curb sexual tourism to foreign countries. The intent is to hold Americans to the standards of their home country or to the host country (whichever was more restrictive). Once again this would set the bar @ 16

DeleteI always found it weird the amount of men that go for that look...if a man goes for a flat chest and teenage boy body I find it odd. I wouldn't date them.....I would assume they liked young girls or were closeted.

ReplyDeleteEven if that were true, Donna, that doesn't mean anything. It just makes you look shallow, tbh. If that was a male poster talking about a female actor having small tits, it would generate a lot of condemnation. As for him being a "terrible person," what have you actually based that on? He's self destructive, yes, but terrible he is not.

ReplyDeleteHe's a terrible person for helping the West Memphis Three skate on the murder charge. He's a terrible person for working with Roman Polanski (in a movie that entertained me a lot, I will admit). He's a terrible person for his probable involvement in the death of River Phoenix. He's a terrible person for beating up his wife. He's a terrible person for ripping off his business partner(s).
Just thought I'd clear that up. I was petty only because he deserves it.
The west memphis three needed freeing and one of the boys' stepfathers should have paid for that terrible crime.

Johnny was co-owner of the club where River died, it does not mean he murdered him or had even the slightest involvement in what was an unfortunate death (oh no let me guess, the 'lluminati did it?).
Johnny's a scummy mess but you sound a bit touched yourself.
A lot of talk about 16 being legal in various places but it's not clear that the teens in this blind were exactly 16. All 16 - or under.

ReplyDeleteDonna, the West Memphis three are innocent, which is why JD campaigned for their release. So did other celebrities. I'll give you Polanski, but Depp is not the only celebrity to have worked with him. Most of Hollywood gave Polanski a standing ovation at the Oscars a few years back. Blaming Depp for River's death on the basis he owned the Viper lounge is stupid. Wasn't it you who got stroppy when I posted Frusciante's role in River's death (he supplied River the drugs and gave him that last, fatal speedball), yet you heap the blame on Depp, simply for owning a nightclub? The "wife beating" allegations alleged by Heard are bullshit too. and it's weird how no one feels the same contempt towards Amber for repeatedly punching her girlfriend or for falsely accusing the arresting officer of being "homophobic"....yeah, the officer is a gay woman herself. From start to finish, the case is filled with lies and contradictions, but Amber is pretty so let's believe anything she says..
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Watch the 'West of Memphis' docu on Netflix. Not only is it superb but those boys were NOT guilty. It was the step Dad. All should watch it. Brilliant stuff.
